PROJECT PROPOSAL
Organisation: Lighthouse Children Welfare Home Association (0468-07-WKL)

Occupants: Children aged between 2months - 20 years, aprox 60 children

INFORMATION
- Provides welfare to abandoned & abused children
- Abused children include those of sexually and physically abuse
- Legal guardians to the children
- Younger children are looked after by the elder orphans
- Cooking of meals are carried out by the elder orphans
- Daily routines and such are carried out routinely of each orphans
- Organisation does not receive funds from the government however are often called on to attend
court hearing and cases of abused children by the welfare department
- Welfare centre is housed in a corner unit terrace house
Issues
- Storage facilities are lacking which causes a lot of scattered items such as bags and books
- Lack of funds, rent is due 4 months with bank account balance at RM50
- Lack of necessities such as clothes, school bags and shoes. Clothes and such are only
purchased once a year
Needs
- Cash donation to Hong Leong Bank Account: 1805 000 8566
- Basic necessities donations such as bags, clothes & etc
- Proper Storage units - A large one was recently donated and would be placed in the exterior
