OPERATIONAL OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the activity all students will be able to:
- practice English with vocabulary related to Physics;
- identifying a fractal structure in real life;
- create art products using ICT.

PROCEDURE: the students are organized into 4 groups; each group is given a work task. They do
what the task requires and then present their other products.

ACTIVITY 2: Defining fractals Time: 10’
AIM: to practice listening for specific information; to understand the properties of the fractals

2. Geography, biology, inside the human body, in space, architecture, paintings.

ACTIVITY 4: Creating a painting with fractals Time: 10’
AIM: to use ICT to create a painting
PROCEDURE: the students choose one or many fractals on the Internet and make a painting, using
any favorite program
