Research Paper On Snow Leopard
How the snow leopard was made Once there was a whole kingdom of felines. This kingdom of cats
was great but there was a leopard who despised it. He always wanted to talk about how cats could
go to other land masses and expand, no one in the kingdom believed him they said he was crazy "No
one could go beyond the walls and out to the world, it's to risky!" said one. "Your a fool if you think
the kingdom to expand to places like that!" said another. But leopard never believed them he knew
they could expand. "It's time to stop thinking about these things and just be normal" said his mother
"That's it!" said leopard storming out of the house, leaving to the mountains he went far away no
one ever saw him again. He climbed to were other cats

The Night Sky
It was a dark and stormy night, the wind blows as the ghostly moonlight filled the darkness. George
the highwayman made his way toward Bess the innkeeper's daughter. She was gazing out the
window when the two of their eyes met. Hers, black as the night sky, and a dark red love knot
placed on her hair. A red dress made of the fabric silk. Her hair was a dark brown, but could have
been mistaken as black. Her outfit fit her personality as much as it did the highwayman. I hope he
loves poetry. Bess thought. He rides toward her on his horse dressed in a fancy cloak colored velvet,
with a curled white wig and doe brown skin, lace wrapped around his chin, and the most beautiful
brown eyes anyone had ever seen. His boots sitting as high ... Show more content on

Suddenly, George pulled out his pistol and shot at the redcoat closest to him.
"How does a silver bullet feel in your gut." George squaked. Then the second redcoat came up and
cried,
"I wouldn't know, you didn't hit me!" The two remaining redcoats chased after George for as long as
they could.
"Yip yip," George tells his horse with a calm voice, "try and catch me, and I will give up my fortune
to you." The redcoats continue to play in George's game. The redcoats sped up and suddenly called,
"Highwayman, slow down or force will be a factor of this chase." George wittingly says,
"Ok, if we have to!" George shoots the third redcoat. Now only one redcoat remains. The last red
coat shrills at George, " Alas, it is the end for you." The redcoat pulls out his weapon and shoots for
the highwayman's head. "You missed," George implies angrily, "and you shot my hat."
George whips out his sword and turns around toward the red coat. He takes his head with one clean
swipe of the blade. By the time George finds the perfect gift, it is already nighttime. He has no idea
the other redcoats are tracking down Bess while he is still riding back to her. They raid the inn and
drink all the ale. The redcoats quickly make their way to Bess's room, and tie her hands with a rope
on the foot of her bed. I've got to find a way to warn the highwayman. Bess inferred.

Critical Appreciation Of Man And Superman
"Man and Superman", by G.B. Shaw was produced and completed by University of Houston
students. It was done in Wortham Theatre, which happens to be one of the smaller theatre's I have
attended. The size of the theatre, and the fact that I attended a matinee performance made for a very
intimate setting. With not many people in attendance, it felt as if the actors were speaking directly to
me and not those in the very back of the house. From where I was sitting, I could see every little
movement made, whether it was a hand movement or the red face of a man who played his part so
well. Together, each of these little elements of design, from costumes and lighting, to sound and
scenery, to the actions used on stage, allowed for the actors to put on an amazing production. All the
little things added up to make the play come off the page of a book and onto the stage, where there
was never a dull moment. The movement on stage was beautiful. Hand movements and walking
patterns were different between the men and the women. When Jack or any of the men would
wave/signal with their hands, it was done with sharp movements or pointed fingers. Their hands
were often tensed, which I could see from where I was sitting. Every hand movement Ann or Violet
made was smooth and slow. There was never any rush or tension in Ann's movements. Only (every
once in a while) would there be a quick turn or even hard long steps across the stage from the ladies.
They appeared as if they were gliding from

Constantly Thriving: A Short Story
Constantly Thriving
Unprepared for the long winter, the small kitten was freezing. His brown fur was matted and he had
ice hanging off of his whiskers. His name was Tyson, but when the people saw him, they called him
Rat. He never liked that name, but couldn't stop them from saying it. Otherwise, everybody else
ignored him and treated him like scraps. He was shivering and Tyson knew that if he sat there for
long, he would perish, and he didn't want that to happen!
An hour later, Tyson decided to get up and start walking. He was very surprised he was still alive,
yet he had a very thick coat. He started walking away from the quietness of the forest, and yet again
towards the busyness of civilization. He was terrified of people, but was starving, ... Show more

The ground felt like it was flying behind him and felt as if he had wings. He felt the roughness of the
concrete on his paws and could taste the wind. He was almost there, but he didn't see the boy
sneaking up behind him. His hair was messy yet looked charming on his round face. He was slim
and had on school uniform. As the boy reached for Tyson, Tyson quickly realized that someone was
behind him. The fur rose up on his back and he tried to sound as ferocious as he could. The boy
picked him up, ignoring his sounds, ran over to the edge of the bridge, and tried throwing him over.
Tyson screamed, the darkness of the water was too scary for him to comprehend. The little boy tried
peeling him off of his fingers. At last the boy finally got Tyson off of him, and he was sent tumbling
down into the depths of the river. All he felt was darkness and the coldness of the river, rushing into
his body. As the current swept him away, he felt the tug of something pulling him upwards. Since he
did not know how to swim, he thought for sure it wasn't him doing the swimming, but something
else. When he resurfaced, he realized it was a dog! He never knew dogs could behave this way. The
dog had one brown and one blue eye with black fur. It also had little white freckles on its muzzle. Its
fur was pasted against its skin due to the water, and it looked very, very skinny. The last thing Tyson
needed was being eaten by a dog. He didn't think his life meant to be that short, when he had already
lived for awhile on his own. His mother died when he was little, along with all of his siblings. He
never saw his father, and wondered if that was how he got his blue eyes. Blue eyes and brown fur
was very uncommon and his mother told him that every day. He never forgot about that, and he
never will forget about his precious memories of his family. Right there, clamped in the jaws of a
giant dog, his

Black Trench And The Eyes Wandered Aimlessly Through The...
Under the tenderness of a blanket, Raven squinted through the window at the piercing rainfall.
London had a crisp air on an early December morning, and today followed suit. As Raven's eyes
wandered aimlessly through the congested area of families and business people, a peculiar man and
object had slowly consumed his concentration. Wearing a black trench coat and a claret coloured
fedora, the man had entered the object yet was more unassuming than a Galapagos turtle. Two
minutes had gone by and Raven had been put in a perplexed standard; he was confused as to
whether to be intrigued or bored. As he leant down to taste his hot chocolate, what he next saw left
him bewildered. The man had vanished without a sight, as if the telephone was used ... Show more

I only had two options: give up and let the Lebanese Resistance Army cuff me and bring end to this
insanity or the heroic option; slaughtering my way out the Kadisha Valley, returning back to HQ
with 60% more Intel and adding even more justification on why I was more deserving of the MI6
'Most Promising Agent' superlative.
My job was simple. Infiltrate the LRA's HQ in order to receive intelligence on Ravhim Ruallah,
LRA's notorious kingpin. After constant war crimes, racketeering and corruption within the
Lebanese government led to civil unrest in the late 2000's. After 4 years of no known criminal
activity, it was notified that Mr Ruallah had passed away. Although this is the case there have been
numerous sightings between the terrified civilians refuging in the Kadisha Valley who have noted
harmful substances circulating what seemed to be a radioactive facility. It was Mi6's job to
investigate, and in what better fashion than using its new prodigy to get his hands dirty.
"Stop Uztaaz!" an Arabic accent exclaimed.
The metal rattling from around his waist confirmed he was carrying a firearm. I smirked as an
anecdote flew across my subconscious. The camouflage from my trench suit blended with the flora
and fauna as I hid behind a Kadishan tree. In exhaustion my head hit the tree as I began to rest.
There was a reason why the Kadisha is colloquially known 'Arz

Creative Story : A Short Story
I was thinking that the world wouldn't stop giving me more bad luck. It all started that afternoon
when I was trying to sell magazine subscriptions for school. It was after school and before dinner, so
I was hot and hungry. I had a hard time getting anyone to even look at a magazine. Little did I know
that things could get much worse.
Thirty minutes went by and I still didn't sell a single magazine. I then reached back to my house. But
then that's when my stepbrother, Skyler, said he was bored, then BOOM! I have an idea!
"Skyler, I could use your help." I said with a smile on my face. I knew that he knows all of the
places where we lived in since he lived there more than I have.
We then went down the street to a very nice and kind hearted lady that we know of. We asked her if
she would participate in my school's fundraiser and as we thought, she immediately said her hello's
and finally said yes to participating. We were waiting for the family to make a choice just as a furry
little cat named, "fat boy" came and purred and hung out with us for a little bit.
We kept walking a little bit on the sidewalk to pass time when the cat followed us and out of
nowhere, Skyler said, " I'll cry if he gets hit or something. He's so cute." I told him not to jinx it.
But that didn't go so well because before we knew it, the cat ran in the middle of the road as we
thought he would make it across but our theory was wrong since he got hit by a car. I don't know
why, but I just stood there

Becoming A Knight Was A Long And Difficult Process
Becoming a knight was a long and difficult process. a person to become a knight would start
training as a child somewhere near 7 years of age. Knights in training had to learn things like sword
techniques, protection and bravery. The first rules taught in early childhood where things such as
rules and basic education which were usually taught at home. Then from 7 to 14 they would be
given the role of Medieval page, this page was the duty of waiting at a table, care for the kings
clothes and help them when dressing. The page also meant they would act like servants of the castle
and being given or recognised as receiving the page meant getting a uniform which would vary in
coulor and pattern due to age. A medieval squire was like a servant to a knight. The role of being a
squire was the next step to becoming a true knight and was very important. The purpose/duties of
becoming a squire were to learn from the knights, for example they learned things such as Chivalry,
the rules of Heraldry, horsemanship and proper use of weapons and skills of a knight. They also had
to become involved in other castle trainings such as jousting and music. Finally after a long period
of time through the teaching and practices of becoming a Knight, there training would be complete
and celebrated at a ceremony. The ceremony consisted of the now coming knight being dubbed with
these words "Arise, sir Knight" This marked their final step to KnightHood.

Personal Narrative : My Best Friend
March 22, 2006, should have been a regular Wednesday for me. Me being in first grade, a regular
Wednesday was to wake up at 8 a.m. to my father turning on my lights, and spiritedly but
annoyingly singing, "Wake up, wake up!" Wincing at the light and my father's terrible voice, I was
always able to wake up in order to shut him up. However, the most memorable part of this day was
not during school but rather what happened later that day at home. It was my father's birthday. My
father was turning 33 and my mom had a little surprise for our family. To this day, I am not too sure
whether my father knew it was happening or not, but my mom walked in through the front door
holding a 10lb cream–colored standard poodle. My mom placed her on the dining room table; tail–
wagging, tongue out, and super energized. Standing there in awe due to pure shock and
astonishment, it was a moment I will always remember. I met my first true best–friend. It wasn't just
some friend though, this dog became my family. Chelsea was the smartest dog I knew, being able to
understand our commands (In Russian of course, as we spoke that at home) at the age of 2. I was
able to teach it hand commands, like raising my hand in front of me as if telling someone to stop,
which signaled sit. Lay down was me waving my hand down, as if petting a dog in a vertical
motion. Chelsea was a one of a kind dog to say the least, bringing joy and comfort to a growing
family. My dog perfectly fit the stereotype all poodles have.

18th Century Fashion and It’s Influence on 21st Century...
Have you ever noticed how fashion is constantly repeating itself? There are several trends that have
come, gone, and come again. A few examples are bell bottoms, skinny jeans, leg warmers, and
flannel shirts. But how far back do the repeating trends go? Styles from the 20th century repeat but
some trends and styles you see today go back much further than that. Although 18th century
clothing was a lot more elaborate then todays you can see its influence in fashion today. Although
there are several examples of this two that will be discussed are the corset and the mens suit. During
the 18th century Americans started to develop their own style slowly but were influenced by
European fashions, most of which started in Paris. Other ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Cottons and linsley wool were often used among the average population (Carpenter) Dress of the
working class was more simple, casual, undecorated and functional while dress of the upper class
was more elaborate and made of finer fabrics, much like today. (Tortora and Eubank 229) The upper
level of society also had the advantage of using embellishments and accessories. From diamonds,
fur, and feathers to fans, laces and silk flowers, elite members of society used these extra flourishes
to further make known their status (Fraser 641). The classic man's three piece suit was first seen in
the 17th and 18th centuries. "The birth of the three–piece suit, then, mean not only the donning of a
new wardrobe: it meant the fashioning of a new masculinity, a new ideology about the morality,
politics, and economics of elite men's consumer practices, an ideology still prevalent today."

On October 8, 1666, Samuel Pepys wrote in his diary, "The King hath yesterday in Council declared
his resolution of setting a fashion for clothes, which he will never alter. It will be a vest, I know not
well how; but it is to teach the nobility thrift, and will do good." (340) This was the introduction of
the first part of the three piece suit, the vest; a sleeveless garment with pockets and buttons down the
front. Later it was called 'waistcoat' because this new garment was cut and shaped so that it reached

Bichon Poodle Mix : An Ideal Fashionista Dog
Bichon Poodle Mix
The Bichon Poodle mix is a designer breed, which makes it an ideal fashionista dog. Not only are
these dogs pretentious, they are all about pleasing their humans. Glam them up with a pair of trendy
sunglasses and pile on the bling; the more bling, the better.
Yet, the Bichon Poodle mix is sooo much more than a living doll, to dress–up and show–off. From
small children or adults to seniors, Bich–poos make loyal companions. They play Big and love

The Poodle's adorable topknot served a practical purpose as well. Owner–hunters tied a different

History of Bichon Poodle Mix
Crossbreeding a Miniature or Toy Poodle with a Bichon Frise appears to have originated in the US,
but some references report they were first bred in Australia, during the late 1990s. Unfortunately,
details of where and when the Bichon Poodle mix crossbreeding originally occurred was evidently
never documented.
The Bichon Poodle mix is commonly called Poochon or Bichon Poo.
Toy Poodles and Bichons share many similarities including their brilliancy and adorability. The
Bichon Poodle mix inherits the best attributes of their Bichon Frise and Poodle lineage,

Poochon's Similarities to Parents
Like their parents – Bichon Frise and generally a Miniature or Toy Poodle – Poochon's have coarse,
medium length curly coats, with minimal shedding. Ordinarily, hybrids have a white coat like the
Bichon Frise, but depending on the Poodle parent's coloring, the offspring may be blue, black or
apricot. This breed is an auspicious choice for people with allergies, as their coats are
hypoallergenic.
Small of stature, their height ranges 9–14 inches; weight between 6–18 pounds. They inherit floppy

The Saint Bernard has many vitals including weight and height. A Saint Bernard can weigh between

Some breeds will obviously shed more than others, and dogs without undercoats typically shed the

The Cask Of Amontillado By Edgar Allen Poe
Were Montresor's action in The Cask of Amontillado justified? Is killing someone justifiable? In
Edgar Allen Poe's short story The Cask of Amontillado that question is one that could be asked. The
short story is about a man named Montresor and his quest to get revenge on his foe Fourtando who
has apparently insulted Montresor. Around the time of the carnival season Montresor leaves his
house to go find Fourtando and get his revenge he tells none of his servants to leave his house, but
Montresor knows once that he has left the servants will leave and go to the carnival. Montresor who
is dressed in all black finds a intoxicated Fourtando who is a professional wine taster, and then
Montresor claims to have some Amontillado wine but he is not sure whether is genuine or if it s a
fraud. In order to intimidate Fortunato and to lure him in, Montresor tells him he is going to get
Luchresi another wine taster in the area, but Fortunato tells him no thus Montresor plan comes
together and then he leads hims to the catacombs and chains Fortunato up where he leaves him to
die. In my opinion the first question should be what did Fortunato do that was so bad for Montresor
to want to and eventually kill him? Then the next question would be was the killing justifiable? In
my opinion the killing was not justifiable. The reason the killing was not justifiable is because of the
fact that nobody deserves to die such a brutal death. Another reason why the killing

Medieval Knights? : What Are Medieval Knights?
What are Medieval Knights?
Medieval Knights were soldiers who fought on horses and is one of the three main types of soldiers
during the Middle Ages, along with foot soldiers and archers. Knights fought for their lords who in
turn fought for their king. They were given land that they could use to support themselves and in
return, owed military service to their lords. Where did Medieval Knights originate?
It all began when (shar–luh–meyn) Charlemagne, the King of the Franks, began to use soldiers on
horses, in order to fight battles across his large empire. They were the first knights of the Middle
Ages and they became a very important part of his army. The earliest knights were considered to be
the officers of the Greek and Roman armies and some were hired men that took oaths of loyalty to
any nobleman or warlord that offers the most money. Soon, land was given so the soldiers could
receive an income from those lands and could afford multiple horses, armor, and weapons. Can
anyone become one?
During the Middle Ages, there were two ways for a boy to become a knight. The first way is earning
the right. If a soldier fought bravely during a battle or war, he may be awarded knighthood by the
king, a lord, or another knight. The second way was to earn the title through hard work and training.
In order to become one, they also needed expensive armor, weapons, and a horse. The training to

dog has skin problems, there is no certain guideline as how frequent you can wash your dog.
However, some dogs prefer to skip bath which is not ideal for bathing is a crucial activity to keep
them healthy.
Washing your dog's skin and coat helps to get rid of parasites and dirt plus, it keeps your furry friend
pleasant and smelling good. During the old days, pet owners prefer to bathe their dogs for only

There are dogs that would love to swim always, or are extremely active that they can roll, play and
enjoy a puddle of mud certainly require a lot of bathing compared to dog living in a condo or a
"homebody". In general, avoid bathing your dog more often than extremely necessary or it will
result to dry skin, frizzy hair and dandruff.
Moreover, some shampoos may cause irritation to your pet's skin so you should bathe him less and
use another shampoo without harsh chemicals. Still, the easiest way for you to find out if your fur
baby needs a bath is to give it a good sniff. Likewise, if your dog sleeps in your bed, you wash him
regularly.
Normally, dogs are playful, enthusiastic and are always active all of which, warrant regular washing.
For most dog breeds, it is ideal to bathe them once a month, but for dogs who usually sits on the
sofa or interacts with a baby at home, might as well keep them tidy more frequently to avoid dirt,
insects, poops and other grime.

Proper Grooming A Dog
Proper dog grooming requires the proper knowledge, preparation, and equipment. It is extremely
important to groom your dog as frequently as is recommended. Proper grooming is important for
dogs for most of the same reasons that it is important for people. When your dog is clean and
trimmed it feels happy, satisfied, and self–confident. Besides that, proper grooming will keep your
dog healthy. Dirty dogs will tend to become infested with harmful, parasitic insects like fleas and
ticks. Your dog will be less healthy and happy if you fail grooming at the proper frequency.
Proper knowledge of dog grooming entails your understanding of your particular breed of dog and
the grooming protocol required. There are different procedures that must be followed if the dog has
short hair as opposed to long hair. There are different requirements depending on the age of your
animal. And of course each breed ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Of course there is a big difference between dogs that spend their time outdoors and dogs that spend
their time indoors. Most dogs who are outdoor dogs will need to be bathed every five days or so.
Inside dogs generally require less bathing. Also you will find that you need to groom your dog with
greater frequency as he ages. Older dogs tend to shed hair faster and smell bad more often. If you
are new to dog ownership and therefore dog grooming as well, don't worry.
It is fairly simple to recognize the frequency with which your dog should be bathed simply by
observing its behavior. If your dog is scratching or appears to be dirty then it is time to groom your
dog. In fact, if your dog is scratching from insect bites, then you have actually waited too long to
groom your dog, but the sooner the better. If you notice that your dog is scratching every 10 days
then you probably need to groom your dog every

Design Documentation On Web Based Information Systems Essay
Heraldry is one of the art professions studies that entail creation, granting and arms blazoning. This
is a protocol that questions rules of ranking and it is executed by an officer of arms. The word
Blazon entails description and use of formal heraldry language that necessitates comprehension
when governing word order blazoning over complex coat of arms (Louda & Maclagan, 1999: 20–
23). The main purpose of this case scenario is to create a Heraldry application as well as system
documentation that will help the company to keep track Blazon armorial Records and allowing them
to be searched online.
1.1.2. Stakeholders analysis As far as Heraldry is taken into account, it is good to note that heraldry
has its predecessors that accounts to stakeholders. In this aspect, the stakeholder's analysis can be
taken based on the various conjectures and in relation to heraldic arms. However, design
documentation on web–based information systems will be highly articulated based on the Heraldry
E–R design and analysis, relationship –management methodology that defines entities. To some
extend the documentation will further analyse definition based on how resources on web will be
accessed, used and who will be updating and maintains the system attributes. As the fate of
stakeholders is taken into consideration, E–R analysis leads to a scenario analysis that identifies the
potential users, the web resources needed and these resources are used by the users. It is good to

Dog Grooming Essay
Be prepared
All dogs need grooming, but some dogs need more grooming than others.
Baxter's owners did not realize that their dog should be combed frequently and completely to
prevent kinks and knots caused by intertwining of hairs or by dirt, grit, or vegetative matter in the
coat. Mats can pull tender skin and cause pain and lead to hot spots or wounds to irritated skin and
eventual infection, general skin outbreaks, or fungus or insect invasion.
Shaving may be the only solution for felted mats, but it must be done carefully to avoid nicking the
dog or further irritating already inflamed skin.
Breeds that need frequent grooming to prevent mats and keep their coats healthy include Cocker
Spaniel, Afghan Hound, Otterhound, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Before bathing, clear any mats or tangles from Ginger's coat.
Teach her to stand in the tub, then add warm or tepid water.
Soak her to the skin, lather, then rinse thoroughly to prevent dull, sticky coat and dry skin.
Take care to keep water and soap out of her eyes and ears and clean her face and the insides of her
ears with a sponge or washcloth.
Daily examination
Even if Ginger doesn't need daily grooming, check her thoroughly to make sure she has no cuts,
sores, fleas, rashes, bumps, ticks, or hitchhikers in her coat or dirt in her ears. Remove fleas with a
fine–toothed comb and drop them into a container of soapy water. Remove embedded ticks with
tweezers or protected fingers and drop them in a vial of alcohol. (Grasp the tick body, rock it back
and forth, then pull firmly.) Carefully remove vegetative matter such as grass awns, seed casings, or
thorny twigs with fingers or comb.
During this daily exam, check Ginger's feet and ears, look at her teeth, and feel for cuts or tumors.
Shedding
Dog hair grows and dies just as human hair does. Some dogs — particularly hard–coated terriers and
Poodles — hang on to their dead hair, thus requiring special grooming to remove it. Other dogs give
it up quite readily, all over the house. Double–coated dogs generally drop their soft undercoats twice
a year and lose their guard hairs once a year, although some individual dogs might shed constantly

Benefits Of Leather Jackets
Introduction –
Is there anything more synonymous with the biker lifestyle than a leather jacket? From James Dean
to Armin Tamzarian, history's most beloved bikers all used leather jackets as a means of rebelling
against the suits and shattering conventions. Today, however, bikers are shying away from leather
jackets, largely due to the expense. Novice bikers are instead purchasing cheaper textile and mesh
models, which while indeed effective, don't offer the same protection or style as a leather model.
While the vast majority of worthwhile leather motorcycle jackets will set you back at least a couple
of hundred dollars, there are a number of quality models which can be purchased for less. In this

Pros
Handmade –
Many motorcycle brands rely on a collection of machines to mass produce their products, which has
been known to drastically decrease the effectiveness and longevity of the completed garments. The
ABz Leathers Vintage Cafe Racer Leather Jacket is handmade, so you can be sure careful attention
was paid to every stitch in order to make it as durable and as reliable as possible.
Multiple Pockets –
You can have the most sturdy, padding–packed motorcycle jacket in the world, but it doesn't mean a
thing if the jacket doesn't come with pockets in which you can store essential items such as your
wallet and smartphone. Motorcycles don't offer a whole lot of storage room, so if you don't have
pockets on your jacket, you can't really bring anything with you. The Vintage Cafe Racer Leather
Jacket boasts a total of four deep front pockets, giving you plenty of room to store the items you

Personal Narrative-A Wolf's Den
The Wolf's Den I lived under the roof of a wolf's den. Each night the two wolves in my den would
bark and growl at each other like the ear splitting shrill of a kettle. They would often pursue each
other with torture and seek revenge. On several occasions, the two wolves in my den would pounce
on each other with words and end their fight with tears and with blood. Everyday was a story told
out of hell. My mother would fight with my father about their intense and endless differences. Often
I would lie awake in my bed listening to the screams and slurred shouting that pounded against my
bedroom door well into the night. My den was once peaceful and harmonious. Love was the

clipped regularly every six to eight weeks. They are considered the most expensive dogs in terms of
grooming. This is because Poodles have hair coats rather than fur. Hair coats are hypoallergenic and
rarely shed, but which grow continuously.

stubbornness. Train them as early as you can so they will grow up to be well–mannered dogs.

My Childhood Memories Of My Family
I was born and raised in a peaceful and friendly part of Bridgeport, Connecticut, on the North End,
right in the corner between Trumbull and Fairfield. My family dynamic has changed a bit in the past
three years. I've lived with my mom, my maternal grandmother, and my older brother for as long as

but I mostly keep to myself.

the years she came to have several different nicknames anyway, including, but not limited to:
Boopy, Micchy, Fluffy, and Silly.) She responded to just shouting in her general direction to get her

It took some time for her to get used to her new home. She did not take an immediate liking to
Smokey, much the same way I didn't; except instead of being afraid of their size difference, she was
aggressive, and made it seem as if she was the bigger of the two. It was kind of amusing to see that
Smokey paid her no mind. She had a lot of energy, which I put to use teaching her a few basic tricks

impatient to learn stay.
I spoiled her rotten with belly rubs and treats, but even if I was technically the main one in charge of

were at school, and maybe because Micchan just gravitated toward the "leader" of the family.

Unprofessionalism In The Workplace Essay
Unprofessionalism in the workplace is a highly controversial topic that is debated by numerous of
individuals. Mainly, because of the different backgrounds, religion, race, and up brings that we same
as members of the United States. Many businesses consider dreadlocks, which are ropelike strands
of hair formed by matting or braiding hair, unprofessional. Why is that woman wearing a burka,

manager that breaks their moral laws? We all can agree that unprofessionalism or professionalism
falls under these categorizes– dress and grooming, employee interaction, harassment, workplace

to use something tougher. The fabric he used was woven of a long staple Egyptian cotton yarn that
was waterproofed before and after the weaving. It was called Gabardine. The advantages of the coat

Analysis of a Paint Called Memorialized by Tyanna Buie
Thomas Merton once said "Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time".
This is completely true. Throughout the semester we have gone through almost as many as 300
pictures we view, learn, decompose into the criteria it meets and talk about the controversial things it
has, while we do this we don't recognize that we also identify the form, content, iconography, and
context. All four areas are what the paint, picture or sculptures identity is. I was lucky enough to
visit my buddy out at WIU. There are many works in the art gallery, around the union and even
outside walking around, but one that did catch my attention and had me thinking about it for quite
some time. It was a painting called Memorialized by Tyanna Buie, was made in 2011 and measures
38''x50''. The content it has is beautiful, the form is wicked, context is superb and iconography is
permanent. It reminds me of artwork we've gone through the semester. The painting was being
showed at the art gallery in end of March. It's now May and I can still picture it in my head so
detailed, without even looking at a picture of it. It's a piece of work I have connected to, yet lost
myself in. This painting shows around five colors being used; red, green gold, pink and white. These
colors mean so much in every day life. The form shows how lines play a big role in the body as
they're symmetric all around the torso, but when connected to the head it seems to turn into scribbles

The footsteps stopped.
I handed him a bottle of blended malt, (name) it read. He smiled again. No more snow on his
shoulders, his smile finally reached his eyes. I froze. I could hear the footsteps fade. Then they
stopped.
I put on my overcoat. I ventured into the quiet street outside. The streetlight flickered. I breathed the
breath of the blizzard. The atmosphere was dank. I stared at the white snow as I let the visiting
thoughts that approached my mind sink in.
'Jun'
I heard someone scream out my name. I looked around. In the vicinity, I saw a park bench. I could
see two familiar figures, one male and one female. They were sitting, hand in hand. The female
figure got up and hugged me.

Descriptive Essay On A Dog
The whole event might have only lasted 30 seconds, but I swear time was stopped. Every afternoon,
I run my dogs on the golf cart around the neighborhood. When I first started this tradition, it was
because of my dog Milo. Milo has extreme amounts of energy, that requires a full–speed 2–mile golf
cart run. One afternoon I began to run my dog Shylow who is not particularly a fast runner; unlike
Milo who can run faster than the golf cart at full speed. It was going well until I drove past the house
with the two Great Danes; these Great Danes were the true opposite of friendly; they were vicious.
Behind me, I heard two dogs barking. However, these dog barks were not the average dog bark. The
dog bark sounded as thunder and became louder the closer they came. My pupils doubled in size,
my mouth went dry, and an agitated flush stained my cheeks. The two dogs that started to chase
after the golf cart and the dog attached to it were the Great Danes. My first initial instinct was to put
the pedal to the metal and drive away from the demons inside a dog's body. I forgot that my dog
Shylow was down. I heard the scraping of nails against the road and turned around to not only
realize that Shylow was being practically pulled by his neck from the golf cart, but also that the
Great Danes were right on the heels of the golf cart. So, I slammed on the breaks to grab Shylow
and then drive. I lurched forward causing my mouth to meet the steering wheel. My braces stabbed
into my lips, and I

  • 1. Research Paper On Snow Leopard How the snow leopard was made Once there was a whole kingdom of felines. This kingdom of cats was great but there was a leopard who despised it. He always wanted to talk about how cats could go to other land masses and expand, no one in the kingdom believed him they said he was crazy "No one could go beyond the walls and out to the world, it's to risky!" said one. "Your a fool if you think the kingdom to expand to places like that!" said another. But leopard never believed them he knew they could expand. "It's time to stop thinking about these things and just be normal" said his mother "That's it!" said leopard storming out of the house, leaving to the mountains he went far away no one ever saw him again. • 5. The Night Sky It was a dark and stormy night, the wind blows as the ghostly moonlight filled the darkness. George the highwayman made his way toward Bess the innkeeper's daughter. She was gazing out the window when the two of their eyes met. Hers, black as the night sky, and a dark red love knot placed on her hair. A red dress made of the fabric silk. Her hair was a dark brown, but could have been mistaken as black. Her outfit fit her personality as much as it did the highwayman. I hope he loves poetry. Bess thought. He rides toward her on his horse dressed in a fancy cloak colored velvet, with a curled white wig and doe brown skin, lace wrapped around his chin, and the most beautiful brown eyes anyone had ever seen. His boots sitting as high ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Suddenly, George pulled out his pistol and shot at the redcoat closest to him. "How does a silver bullet feel in your gut." George squaked. Then the second redcoat came up and cried, "I wouldn't know, you didn't hit me!" The two remaining redcoats chased after George for as long as they could. "Yip yip," George tells his horse with a calm voice, "try and catch me, and I will give up my fortune to you." The redcoats continue to play in George's game. The redcoats sped up and suddenly called, "Highwayman, slow down or force will be a factor of this chase." George wittingly says, "Ok, if we have to!" George shoots the third redcoat. Now only one redcoat remains. The last red coat shrills at George, " Alas, it is the end for you." The redcoat pulls out his weapon and shoots for the highwayman's head. "You missed," George implies angrily, "and you shot my hat." George whips out his sword and turns around toward the red coat. He takes his head with one clean swipe of the blade. By the time George finds the perfect gift, it is already nighttime. He has no idea the other redcoats are tracking down Bess while he is still riding back to her. They raid the inn and drink all the ale. The redcoats quickly make their way to Bess's room, and tie her hands with a rope on the foot of her bed. I've got to find a way to warn the highwayman. Bess inferred. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 9. Critical Appreciation Of Man And Superman "Man and Superman", by G.B. Shaw was produced and completed by University of Houston students. It was done in Wortham Theatre, which happens to be one of the smaller theatre's I have attended. The size of the theatre, and the fact that I attended a matinee performance made for a very intimate setting. With not many people in attendance, it felt as if the actors were speaking directly to me and not those in the very back of the house. From where I was sitting, I could see every little movement made, whether it was a hand movement or the red face of a man who played his part so well. Together, each of these little elements of design, from costumes and lighting, to sound and scenery, to the actions used on stage, allowed for the actors to put on an amazing production. All the little things added up to make the play come off the page of a book and onto the stage, where there was never a dull moment. The movement on stage was beautiful. Hand movements and walking patterns were different between the men and the women. When Jack or any of the men would wave/signal with their hands, it was done with sharp movements or pointed fingers. Their hands were often tensed, which I could see from where I was sitting. Every hand movement Ann or Violet made was smooth and slow. There was never any rush or tension in Ann's movements. Only (every once in a while) would there be a quick turn or even hard long steps across the stage from the ladies. They appeared as if they were gliding from ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

His name was Tyson, but when the people saw him, they called him Rat. He never liked that name, but couldn't stop them from saying it. Otherwise, everybody else ignored him and treated him like scraps. He was shivering and Tyson knew that if he sat there for long, he would perish, and he didn't want that to happen! An hour later, Tyson decided to get up and start walking. He was very surprised he was still alive, yet he had a very thick coat. He started walking away from the quietness of the forest, and yet again towards the busyness of civilization. He was terrified of people, but was starving, ... He was almost there, but he didn't see the boy sneaking up behind him. His hair was messy yet looked charming on his round face. He was slim and had on school uniform. As the boy reached for Tyson, Tyson quickly realized that someone was behind him. The fur rose up on his back and he tried to sound as ferocious as he could. The boy picked him up, ignoring his sounds, ran over to the edge of the bridge, and tried throwing him over. Tyson screamed, the darkness of the water was too scary for him to comprehend. The little boy tried peeling him off of his fingers. At last the boy finally got Tyson off of him, and he was sent tumbling down into the depths of the river. All he felt was darkness and the coldness of the river, rushing into his body. As the current swept him away, he felt the tug of something pulling him upwards. Since he did not know how to swim, he thought for sure it wasn't him doing the swimming, but something else. When he resurfaced, he realized it was a dog! He never knew dogs could behave this way. The dog had one brown and one blue eye with black fur. It also had little white freckles on its muzzle. Its fur was pasted against its skin due to the water, and it looked very, very skinny. The last thing Tyson needed was being eaten by a dog. He didn't think his life meant to be that short, when he had already lived for awhile on his own. His mother died when he was little, along with all of his siblings. He never saw his father, and wondered if that was how he got his blue eyes. Blue eyes and brown fur was very uncommon and his mother told him that every day. He never forgot about that, and he never will forget about his precious memories of his family. London had a crisp air on an early December morning, and today followed suit. As Raven's eyes wandered aimlessly through the congested area of families and business people, a peculiar man and object had slowly consumed his concentration. Wearing a black trench coat and a claret coloured fedora, the man had entered the object yet was more unassuming than a Galapagos turtle. Two minutes had gone by and Raven had been put in a perplexed standard; he was confused as to whether to be intrigued or bored. As he leant down to taste his hot chocolate, what he next saw left him bewildered. The man had vanished without a sight, as if the telephone was used ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I only had two options: give up and let the Lebanese Resistance Army cuff me and bring end to this insanity or the heroic option; slaughtering my way out the Kadisha Valley, returning back to HQ with 60% more Intel and adding even more justification on why I was more deserving of the MI6 'Most Promising Agent' superlative. My job was simple. Infiltrate the LRA's HQ in order to receive intelligence on Ravhim Ruallah, LRA's notorious kingpin. After constant war crimes, racketeering and corruption within the Lebanese government led to civil unrest in the late 2000's. After 4 years of no known criminal activity, it was notified that Mr Ruallah had passed away. Although this is the case there have been numerous sightings between the terrified civilians refuging in the Kadisha Valley who have noted harmful substances circulating what seemed to be a radioactive facility. It was Mi6's job to investigate, and in what better fashion than using its new prodigy to get his hands dirty. "Stop Uztaaz!" an Arabic accent exclaimed. • 26. Creative Story : A Short Story I was thinking that the world wouldn't stop giving me more bad luck. It all started that afternoon when I was trying to sell magazine subscriptions for school. It was after school and before dinner, so I was hot and hungry. I had a hard time getting anyone to even look at a magazine. Little did I know that things could get much worse. Thirty minutes went by and I still didn't sell a single magazine. I then reached back to my house. But then that's when my stepbrother, Skyler, said he was bored, then BOOM! I have an idea! "Skyler, I could use your help." I said with a smile on my face. I knew that he knows all of the places where we lived in since he lived there more than I have. We then went down the street to a very nice and kind hearted lady that we know of. We asked her if she would participate in my school's fundraiser and as we thought, she immediately said her hello's and finally said yes to participating. We were waiting for the family to make a choice just as a furry little cat named, "fat boy" came and purred and hung out with us for a little bit. We kept walking a little bit on the sidewalk to pass time when the cat followed us and out of nowhere, Skyler said, " I'll cry if he gets hit or something. He's so cute." I told him not to jinx it. But that didn't go so well because before we knew it, the cat ran in the middle of the road as we thought he would make it across but our theory was wrong since he got hit by a car. I don't know why, but I just stood there ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Me being in first grade, a regular Wednesday was to wake up at 8 a.m. to my father turning on my lights, and spiritedly but annoyingly singing, "Wake up, wake up!" Wincing at the light and my father's terrible voice, I was always able to wake up in order to shut him up. However, the most memorable part of this day was not during school but rather what happened later that day at home. It was my father's birthday. My father was turning 33 and my mom had a little surprise for our family. To this day, I am not too sure whether my father knew it was happening or not, but my mom walked in through the front door holding a 10lb cream–colored standard poodle. My mom placed her on the dining room table; tail– wagging, tongue out, and super energized. Standing there in awe due to pure shock and astonishment, it was a moment I will always remember. I met my first true best–friend. It wasn't just some friend though, this dog became my family. Chelsea was the smartest dog I knew, being able to understand our commands (In Russian of course, as we spoke that at home) at the age of 2. I was able to teach it hand commands, like raising my hand in front of me as if telling someone to stop, which signaled sit. Lay down was me waving my hand down, as if petting a dog in a vertical motion. Chelsea was a one of a kind dog to say the least, bringing joy and comfort to a growing family. The classic man's three piece suit was first seen in the 17th and 18th centuries. "The birth of the three–piece suit, then, mean not only the donning of a new wardrobe: it meant the fashioning of a new masculinity, a new ideology about the morality, politics, and economics of elite men's consumer practices, an ideology still prevalent today." In Edgar Allen Poe's short story The Cask of Amontillado that question is one that could be asked. The short story is about a man named Montresor and his quest to get revenge on his foe Fourtando who has apparently insulted Montresor. Around the time of the carnival season Montresor leaves his house to go find Fourtando and get his revenge he tells none of his servants to leave his house, but Montresor knows once that he has left the servants will leave and go to the carnival. Montresor who is dressed in all black finds a intoxicated Fourtando who is a professional wine taster, and then Montresor claims to have some Amontillado wine but he is not sure whether is genuine or if it s a fraud. In order to intimidate Fortunato and to lure him in, Montresor tells him he is going to get Luchresi another wine taster in the area, but Fortunato tells him no thus Montresor plan comes together and then he leads hims to the catacombs and chains Fortunato up where he leaves him to die. In my opinion the first question should be what did Fortunato do that was so bad for Montresor to want to and eventually kill him? Then the next question would be was the killing justifiable? In my opinion the killing was not justifiable. The reason the killing was not justifiable is because of the fact that nobody deserves to die such a brutal death. Another reason why the killing ... Medieval Knights were soldiers who fought on horses and is one of the three main types of soldiers during the Middle Ages, along with foot soldiers and archers. Knights fought for their lords who in turn fought for their king. They were given land that they could use to support themselves and in return, owed military service to their lords. Where did Medieval Knights originate? It all began when (shar–luh–meyn) Charlemagne, the King of the Franks, began to use soldiers on horses, in order to fight battles across his large empire. They were the first knights of the Middle Ages and they became a very important part of his army. The earliest knights were considered to be the officers of the Greek and Roman armies and some were hired men that took oaths of loyalty to any nobleman or warlord that offers the most money. Soon, land was given so the soldiers could receive an income from those lands and could afford multiple horses, armor, and weapons. Can anyone become one? During the Middle Ages, there were two ways for a boy to become a knight. The first way is earning the right. If a soldier fought bravely during a battle or war, he may be awarded knighthood by the king, a lord, or another knight. The second way was to earn the title through hard work and training. In order to become one, they also needed expensive armor, weapons, and a horse. The training to become a knight The training to become a knight starts as early as 7 years old and he ... • 103. Personal Narrative-A Wolf's Den The Wolf's Den I lived under the roof of a wolf's den. Each night the two wolves in my den would bark and growl at each other like the ear splitting shrill of a kettle. They would often pursue each other with torture and seek revenge. On several occasions, the two wolves in my den would pounce on each other with words and end their fight with tears and with blood. Everyday was a story told out of hell. My mother would fight with my father about their intense and endless differences. Often I would lie awake in my bed listening to the screams and slurred shouting that pounded against my bedroom door well into the night. My den was once peaceful and harmonious. Love was the backbone at a time where I called my residence home. With the accumulating ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The rain was now falling with renewed intensity whilst the wind, shivering from the cold, moaned and twisted in its displeasure. After class had ended, I had lunch with Daniel, hoping to explain my true intentions to him. My breath was visible in a smoky, white haze in front of me. I had no idea how to bring the subject about but I thought the best way would be to say something different. "Come on. You must be thinking something." Daniel urged. "Tell me. Please? You know you can tell me anything Evie. I promise not to laugh." I pondered on this thought momentarily, with my secret threatening to spill out from my mouth. "I like you" I blurted. I felt my face grow hot as I held my breath, eager and frightened of his response. I felt my heart pounding so furiously, that I was sure it would jump out of my chest. Daniel stopped for a moment and looked longingly at me with his captivating, blue eyes. His lips twitched into an elated smile and replied "I've felt that way from the moment I laid eyes on you." Our faces merged and I made contact with his lips. It was a suspended moment in time that made my heart race. I already had a name picked out, Micchan. It had no particular meaning. I just wanted something different. (Over the years she came to have several different nicknames anyway, including, but not limited to: Boopy, Micchy, Fluffy, and Silly.) She responded to just shouting in her general direction to get her attention. It took some time for her to get used to her new home. She did not take an immediate liking to Smokey, much the same way I didn't; except instead of being afraid of their size difference, she was aggressive, and made it seem as if she was the bigger of the two. It was kind of amusing to see that Smokey paid her no mind. She had a lot of energy, which I put to use teaching her a few basic tricks and commands. Micchan quickly learned how to sit, lay down, roll over, and shake, but she was too impatient to learn stay. I spoiled her rotten with belly rubs and treats, but even if I was technically the main one in charge of her, she preferred my mom over me. Likely because she was the one who fed Micchan while we were at school, and maybe because Micchan just gravitated toward the "leader" of the family. Nonetheless, to Micchan, ... Schneider Sven (2006) As we know now, the invention was a great find, but it didn't stay popular because of it's numerous negatives. This brings us to the next craftsmen that competed to make a raincoat work. There were two more craftsmen who were competing to produce the best raincoat at the time. Unlike Macintosh with a rubberized version, John Emary developed an exceptional raincoat, that he called Aquascutum. Aquascutum was named after a latin term aqua, which translates as water and scutum. Schneider Sven (2006) Aquascutum was very successful and started producing coats for British soldiers, but not long after, Thomas Burberry became a high competitor. Baren Mourice (1996) He followed a completely different approach. Instead of using wool for the fabric, he decided to use something tougher. The fabric he used was woven of a long staple Egyptian cotton yarn that was waterproofed before and after the weaving. It was called Gabardine. The advantages of the coat were quite observed. Throughout the semester we have gone through almost as many as 300 pictures we view, learn, decompose into the criteria it meets and talk about the controversial things it has, while we do this we don't recognize that we also identify the form, content, iconography, and context. All four areas are what the paint, picture or sculptures identity is. I was lucky enough to visit my buddy out at WIU. There are many works in the art gallery, around the union and even outside walking around, but one that did catch my attention and had me thinking about it for quite some time. It was a painting called Memorialized by Tyanna Buie, was made in 2011 and measures 38''x50''. The content it has is beautiful, the form is wicked, context is superb and iconography is permanent. It reminds me of artwork we've gone through the semester. The painting was being showed at the art gallery in end of March. It's now May and I can still picture it in my head so detailed, without even looking at a picture of it. It's a piece of work I have connected to, yet lost myself in. This painting shows around five colors being used; red, green gold, pink and white. These colors mean so much in every day life. The form shows how lines play a big role in the body as they're symmetric all around the torso, but when connected to the head it seems to turn into scribbles that look like flowers ... Snow was everywhere and the visibility was blurring. I let the air in, accompanied by little snowflakes. I saw them glaze in the streetlight. • 157. Descriptive Essay On A Dog The whole event might have only lasted 30 seconds, but I swear time was stopped. Every afternoon, I run my dogs on the golf cart around the neighborhood. When I first started this tradition, it was because of my dog Milo. Milo has extreme amounts of energy, that requires a full–speed 2–mile golf cart run. One afternoon I began to run my dog Shylow who is not particularly a fast runner; unlike Milo who can run faster than the golf cart at full speed. It was going well until I drove past the house with the two Great Danes; these Great Danes were the true opposite of friendly; they were vicious. Behind me, I heard two dogs barking. However, these dog barks were not the average dog bark. The dog bark sounded as thunder and became louder the closer they came. My pupils doubled in size, my mouth went dry, and an agitated flush stained my cheeks. The two dogs that started to chase after the golf cart and the dog attached to it were the Great Danes. My first initial instinct was to put the pedal to the metal and drive away from the demons inside a dog's body. I forgot that my dog Shylow was down. I heard the scraping of nails against the road and turned around to not only realize that Shylow was being practically pulled by his neck from the golf cart, but also that the Great Danes were right on the heels of the golf cart. So, I slammed on the breaks to grab Shylow and then drive. I lurched forward causing my mouth to meet the steering wheel. My braces stabbed into my lips, and I ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
