The Satya Bharti Government Primary School in Amber, Jaipur lacks a boundary wall. As a result, animals like cows, buffalo and goats enter the school grounds and disrupt classes. The school formed groups to raise awareness with the community about the problems caused by the lack of a boundary wall. They were able to get the villagers and local leaders to donate funds and build a temporary fence to keep animals out and improve the school environment.
1. Hey Bhagwan
Satya Bharti Government Primary School – Balyakalan-
(Amber)-School don't have school boundary wall. school
functioning have disturbed due this . Animal like Buffalo , Cow
,Dog and Got etc entered into school and create disturbance in
school premises.
2. We ‘Felt’:
In our school Satya Bharti Govt. Primary School –Balyakala Tehsil-
Amer,Dist.Jaipur -.we do not have boundary wall in our school premises .
our school is surrounded by dense forest and a low hill. There is a public
pasture along the school. People come there along with their cattle. They
often leave their animal like Cow Buffalo & Goat etc in our school ground
for gazing. they did not care about them and indulge themselves in gossips
and other activities.It caused greats disturbances in study of children;
teacher too could not concentrate on teaching .Even sheep and goat come
many a time during MDM and would spoil edible items and eat rotis. Cattle
would often eat students notebooks. The situation became worse in rainy
season .the cattle spoiled the health and hyegenic situation of school.
Adding to the nuisance, Public pass way was near our school
.Women used to quarrel over social matters near our school . Some
people would misuse the toilets of school .they would throw wrappers of
diff .Edible items in our school.
The cleanliness, hyegenic situation ,teaching atmosphere of
school was totally disturbed due to lack of a boundary wall.
4. We ‘Imagined’:
We decided to Discuss with community people
regarding this concern and realize them that this is
creating disturbing in studies among students.
We discussed the same in PTM and Saturday
activities.
We imagined that If community people are made
aware about this concern then school atmosphere will
be better and also we will be able to develop
gardening in school premises
5. We ‘Did’:
For solving the problem ,We formed three groups in our school.
1st group –This group hold some meetings with villagers.
2nd group- This group met and gave written requests to public delegates
(representatives).
3rd group- This group members worked like postmen .they travelled door to door to
convey the message of the problem to the people ,to awake people.
Our further planning and programmes- We discussed the problem among ourselves
during prayer assembly. Duties and programmes were allotted to different responsible
students and all teachers .We also thought over the resources to overcome this
problem.
Implementation- Student wrote a lot of letters to villagers and representatives .Letters
were send to every house .People who used to be against us ,changed their attitude
and come forward to help us .
6. Impact on Community:
The villagers considered the school as their own. They developed a
feeling and sense for the security of public properties
Two idols (Noble persons ) Mr.Kalu Ram Gurjar and Mr.Sita Ram Gurjar
set an example by donating 35000/-Rupees to school for school boundary
fence. The credit goes to children and school staff.
7. OUR ACHIEVEMENTS
