 People may suffer from hip problems, their age
notwithstanding. Thus, hip replacement surgery was
developed. As reported by the Bloomberg, US Democrats are
pushing for policy blocking the distribution of medical
devices that have safety problems. They talked about
untoward incidents brought about by medical products of
Johnson & Johnson. Design problems with metal-on-metal
hip implants may have caused the metal components of the
DePuy device to rub against each other and shed microscopic
    metal particles into the body.
 Problems resulting from faulty DePuy hip replacement surgery are:

 Bone loss
 Inflammatory reactions
 Presence of chromium and cobalt in the blood that may lead to cancer
 Detachment of the hip device from the bone
 Tissue damages
 Genotoxicity (genetic damage)
 Bone fractures
 Unexplained hip pain
 Hip dislocation
 Swelling
 Complete hip failure
 Metallosis (metal toxicity or blood poisoning)
 Pseudotumors
 Additional hip replacement or revision surgery
 Loosening of hip device
 Hip pain can be caused by hip joint structures, along with
muscles, tendons and other tissues that act on or stabilize
the hip joint. Some of the hip problems are felt on one side
and some are on both sides. The most common causes of hip
    pain are arthritis; hip fractures; tendinitis and bursitis;
hernia; and gynecological and back issues.

 According to Dr. Marc Philippon, an orthopaedic surgeon in
Vail, Colo, “treatment for hip pain depends on the
diagnosis, but pain that’s caused by overuse or sports
injuries is often treated with heat, rest, and over-the-counter
    anti-inflammatory medication.”
 Several studies also advised men and women to eat foods that
contain calcium, vitamin D and vitamin K, including milk, dried
figs, cheese cod liver oil, broccoli, romaine lettuce, spinach and
other green, leafy vegetables.Omega-3 fatty acids, which are
famous for promoting cardiac health, may also reduce hip
    problems.

 ”It’s important to get seven to nine servings of fruits and
vegetables every day as part of a healthy diet. If somebody were
to change their behaviors and do that, they’d be taking out some
of the other foods that might not be good for them,” according to
Sandra Meyerowitz, a nutritionist and owner of Nutrition Works
    in Louisville, Kentucky. .
 Overall, a good hip problem solution is about having a healthy lifestyle
and safe treatments or medication. Hip replacement surgery, which
has been linked to device problems, may be delayed through living a
healthy lifestyle. Lawsuit against hip replacement manufacturers with
defective products are all over the news.
