NATURAL
FABRIC
RAMIE is also similar to linen and
is a bast of plant fiber.
JUTE is a glossy fiber from a
plant. It is seen most often in
sacks, rope, twine, and as
backing on carpeting.
LINEN, elegant, beautiful,
durable, the refined luxury fabric.

ACETATE VELVET
ACRYLIC SPANDEX
LATEX FIBRANNE

3. PROPERTIES
Tensile strength is a basic indicator of relative strength. It is fundamental for
architectural fabrics that function primarily in tension.
Tear Strength is important in that if a fabric ruptures in place, it generally will
do so by tearing. This can occur when a local stress concentration or local
damage results in the failure of one yarn, which thereby increases the stress
on remaining yarns.
Adhesion strength is a measure of the strength of the bond between the base
material and coating or film laminate that protects it. It is useful for
evaluating the strength of welded joints for connecting strips of fabric into
fabricated assembly.
Flame retarzdancy does not have the same meaning as flame proofing. Fabric
that contains a flame-retardant coating can withstand even a very hot point
source. However, it can still burn if a large ignition source is present.
4. ADVANTAGES
Faster to construct
Low maintenance
Light weight
Allow natural light
Air Ventilation and circulation
upto a extent
Some fibres are fire resistant.
Easy to transport
DISADVANTAGES
Costly
Fire gain
Non recyclable
Wear & tear
Dust gain
Low durability
Regular Maintainance

Commercial Fabric Facade
Bus Station Fabric Façade .
10. Comparison
Material is Weaker in strength as compared to Concrete , Stone .
Regular maintainance required or fabric
Wear and tear problems get created due to wind or heat etc
Available in a huge variety of colors.
Easy installation by fastners .
11. Materialistic Defects and
maintenance
Gets Torn And has wear and tear effects
Color gets faded
No Hard fastnening can be done
If materialistic quality is low fabric do not retain upto a long time
12. Conclusion
Fabric has distinctive property of being able to get stretched which no
other material can get
Fabric is not so easily available in market with variety
Fabric has variation on basis of usage .
