Last year’s picture and Theme: “We Can!”….
This year…Puzzle Pieces –Positive sense - will soon have a new staff pic here to reflect this year’s theme!
This year’s theme…
One of main themes I came back with from BCSSA
Together WE Learn …pieces of the puzzle … the three pieces leaves it open for the ongoing process of learning and growing….always new pieces that are needed
As Learning Services this year we want to Continue and strengthen our communication & connections to co-construct positive and successful learning experiences and outcomes for ALL (the tree!)
Other key visuals that we will continue to ‘stamp’ and ’refer to’ in our conversations….
Emphasizing the primacy of the classroom and the teacher…as well as “MORE OF” vs “INSTEAD OF”
Recognizing that a lot of strategies work for ALL learners… and serve to be a very pro-active system… as well that some children need supplemental support or more intensive intervention to assist in their successes…SUPPLEMENTAL – KEY WORD
A child’s needs can be at any part of the continuum at any given time – adapt, flex, review, reflect, revise … RTI in a nutshell…
And that we are here to help at any point along this Strategic Learning CONTINUUM
Framework for Collaborative Dialogue that encompasses the process of support for our students --- a Framework
Sustainability factor – much more meaningful way to work In support of our children
Strengthening our communication and connections… Developing an Admin Resource binder (these main Vision slides are in here); physical and online resource that we hope to have compiled hopefully for our first DLTM
A peek …
Key: the flow in the CONTINUUM of support
