2. Laying out the clips:
The first part of editing process was to arrange the rough clips in the
order they should appear this was really easy as the clip could be
trimmed and the selected section of the clip then dragged and dropped
on to the time line, as well as this the parts of the clips that had been
used we’re highlighted orange meaning you didn’t lose track of where
you were up to.
3. Colour correction:
By using a combination of the ‘old world’ IMovie
preset and the manual corrections like the
contrast and brightness I was able to create a
harsh lighting for our short film, that looked
apropiate for the kind of scene we had filmed.
4. Music:
Adding music was very easy on
iMovie, it is just a drag and drop
method. I did some research on
other thrillers and the music
that was used I decided that
the music from the Bourne
Identity would suit the short
film very well. So I have created
a letter to the publishing
company to ask for copyright
permission.
