How The Diaspora Helped Violence Essay
How the Diaspora helped Violence Having established the motives for the Diaspora aiding the nationalist, now it needs to be analyzed what the
diaspora actually did to aid the nationalist movement. The aid can be broken down into three categories, financial, political and physical aid. The
first and the biggest being financial aid and this type of aid was collected by members of the Irish Diaspora in the US then given to various
different nationalist groups. Seldom was the money given to violent groups like the IRA but instead was given to other groups and in turn led to the
purchasing of arms or goods and stuff like that which the IRA could use. One of the major organizations that did this was Noraid or Irish Northern
Aid. The true purpose of Noraid dealt with arms smuggling and fund raising and thus were closely aligned and allied with the IRA(Brian Hanley
2004:1). The support for Noraid in terms of funding can be tracked in the same exact way that the general diasporatic support can be tracked. The
hunger strikes of 1980–81, in which IRA prisoners staged a hunger strike to protest conditions in their prison in which a few of them died, was
monumental in the history of Noraid because it led to not only an increase of donation which in turn were given to IRA and groups like it but it also
changed the image of Noraid in the US. It led to an increase in membership and made the organization less radical which meant that it year by year
would have generally more memberships and

Kenneth Dodge's Theory Of Juvenile Delinquency
Deviance among adolescents in our society has many different causes and multiple theories throughout the history of criminal justice have been
developed to attempt to explain, prevent and reduce incidents of status offenses and juvenile delinquency. There are theories varying from individual,
to social and environmental. All of these theories have their merits and contribute in one way or another to the advancement of the understanding of
juvenile delinquency and the treatment and prevention of delinquency within our society. Those that have proven to be successful we have applied in
our justice system while those that are proven over time to be ineffective or defective we have discarded. There is no single theory that applies to all
delinquent behavior in all situations. It is best to determine what theory may work best in each specific case based on the individual and the specific
situation. Dodge's information processing theory of social problem solving (Crick and Dodge 1994) was developed by Kenneth Dodge in an attempt to
explain the interaction between the child's cognitive development and their social environment. This theory combines elements of both the individual
and the social environment and examines how these two variables interact with each other to present a model for juvenile delinquency. During my
investigation of this topic I discovered that an adapted model of Dodge's theory existed that seemed to be more encompassing of the causes of juvenile
delinquency,

Risk In Projects – The Total Tool Set
Eyes Wide Shut (without Nicole and Tom to help)
Many project mangers, when first introduced to risk management, feel that there is something "macho" about undertaking high risk projects "without a
net" and that formal risk management is a sign of weakness. Secretly, I guess that we all identify somewhat with Indiana Jones as he plunges from
disaster to disaster just surviving by good luck and sheer guts. The good news is that if you ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If you lived in an apartment next to the building in which you work, the risk involved in getting to work on time is many times lower than that facing
a person with a 20 mile commute involving driving to the station, getting kids to school, taking a pre–work study course and public transport. The
second process in risk management is the process of Risk Reduction, Minimization or Containment. This process involves planning and action to
reduce the risks and, if that is not possible, to introduce strategies to minimize the impact of failure. To manage the risks in our commute, we could
reduce risk by moving closer to work, obtaining flexible working hours or undertaking community and political action to improve public transport.
Contingency planning such as having alternative routes or transport would be part of this process. The third and fourth processes of Risk
Management are the Risk Monitoring and Risk Reporting of the status of risks [particularly High risk factors], the identification of new risk factors
that have emerged during the project and reports on the effectiveness of containment strategies. In our commute example, risk monitoring would
involve watching the clock and for traffic snarls. Risk reporting could be calling work to say you'll be late and to inform your work colleagues of
potential delays for other colleagues. Risk management also involves the evaluation and management of the impact of failure of the

Capsim Project Paper
Mkt 350 In a classroom far, far away, four people were thrust into a group. Their goal was to succeed in the game known as Capsim. They called
themselves Digby 2. This is the real life story of their friendship, challenges, and accomplishments as they worked their way to the top of the game.
On a more serious note, our group took Capsim very seriously. In the beginning we were all confused as to how the game worked and where to
begin. We looked at the various tutorials and the booklet to try and make some sense of it. Once we had some understanding, we tried to develop our
strategy. In the first few rounds we understood it was important to have our company funded through stocks and long term debt. We issued stock the first

Other than this, we didn't really have any problems with the game or with our group members. Along with capacity, we also made it a focus to
limit the amount of overtime and second shift workers. This kept our costs down and our profit margin wider. We paid attention to our inventory
on hand and made sure to not schedule more production than was needed. Towards the later rounds, we really seemed to grasp the idea of the
game, which can be seen in our large increase in profitability. In the Finance portion, we borrowed money in the first five weeks to pay off our
current debt. As the game got into the later rounds we began paying off our current and long term debt because our profits were increasing at a
higher rate. Overall, we believe that our group had a decent understanding of the concepts as we finished with high market share and profits. Our
group took time to meet every week to discuss our strategy for Capsim. We met on Mondays, usually for an hour or so to discuss the task at hand.
We also met on Wednesdays if there was doubt in our decisions from Monday or if one of our group members could not make it. Our group chose
to discuss the game as a whole, rather than sectioning it up to make sure that everyone was on the same page. We didn't have any conflicts in our
decisions and actually got along very well. Overall as a group we thought Capsim had its advantages and disadvantages. We did learn a lot about the

Engineering : An Essential Pillar For Industrial And...
Engineering has always been an essential pillar for industrial and technical development. Engineering is what keeps our people moving and up–to–date
with technology. It is a satisfying career, both financially and mentally. The objective of this assignment is to interview a practicing Engineer who has
worked or is working in the area of project management. This assignment provides a glance for future engineers into the daily routine of a professional
and experienced Engineer, and the approach he/she pursued in order to arrive at the position they presently occupy.
I recently interviewed Saeed Salim, a project manager at Al Barrak Electrical Contracting Company, located in United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi.

changes he encountered in U.A.E.
After ten years of working in the Water and Electricity department, Saeed received another job offer in a private company named AL Barrak Electrical
Contracting Company, where he was offered a project manager position, which is his current position as well. He was more comfortable working with
the second company, as this opportunity allowed him to combine the technical aspects of a position with management duties. Working in Al Barrak, he
is capable of designing, maintaining and developing electrical control systems and components to certain specifications, concentrating on economy,
quality, and sustainability. He is involved in projects from the idea and detail of the specified design through to implementation, testing and handover.
He is also involved in projects that require people in his field to work as a team. The team would usually include engineers from other specialist areas,
as well as marketing staff, technicians and manufacturers. He sometimes works with representatives from client organizations.
Working in a different company, Saeed had to take a bigger responsibility and work harder to prove himself and show that he is capable of facing

Lewin's Force Field Analysis
Lewin's Force Field Analysis
Force Field Analysis is a model which shows a current level of a business in which it is affected by driving forces which are positive and encourages
development of a plan and also restraining forces which are negative and hinder the development of a plan. In other words, to ensure that a decision is
well made, the positivity of the driving forces has to exceed the negativity of the restraining forces.

Change
After the uncertainty created in the unfreeze stage, the change stage is where people begin to resolve their uncertainty and look for new ways to do
things. People start to believe and act in ways that support the new direction.
The transition from unfreeze to change does not happen overnight: People take time to embrace the new direction and participate proactively in the
change
In order to accept the change and contribute to making the change successful, people need to understand how the changes will benefit them. Not
everyone will fall in line just because the change is necessary and will benefit the company. This is a common assumption and pitfall that should be
avoided.

Time and communication are the two keys to success for the changes to occur. People need time to understand the changes and they also need to feel
highly connected to the organization throughout the transition period. When you are managing change, this can require a great deal of time and effort
and hands–on management is usually the best approach.

overwhelmingly positive, with some participants commenting that the workshop prompted life–changing experiences. Its

Fast Track Network Protocol Is Unique
As already discussed, this Fast Track network protocol is unique. This has become the point of curiosity for individuals and firms to try and halt the
Fast Track protocol.
Thus the majority would be the giFT project. With reference to Bergner, the preliminary indication of giFT was the regularly used interface toFastTrack
. This giFT almost reached the point to break the FastTrack protocol. Therefore, FastTrack responded by customizing their encryption technique making
it more complex.
Since the FastTrack protocol became more complex, the giFT changed to enhance a system that can accumulate many assorted heterogeneous networks
and even then, acted as an entity which can share files.
From then on, it was transformed to giFT Internet File Transport. This transformation triggered the development of a brand new and improvised
network protocol very similar to FastTrack. That is known as OpenFT.
6.1The OpenFT Architecture
OpenFT protocol divides the peers in its domain into different roles but instead of 2–tier architecture, it has added an extra tier building 3–tier control
architecture as demonstrated in the figure.
Peers are divided into different categories based on few factors. They are network access performance, processing speed, usage of its memory as well
as accessibility.
The first tier is made up of numerous traditional machines which are also called as User peers. Every peer in this tier has connections to big group of
search peers. The user peers later on might

Companies are returning to improve efficiencies, streamline processes, make intelligent choices, ensure profitability and strengthen the corporate fibre
in order to be more competitive. Change is crucial. But the Jamshedpur–based Tata Motors' commercial vehicles division (CVD) has discovered that
managing people to manage change is even more important. Its department for productivity services has been the change agent to achieve the dual
task of employee involvement and waste elimination. Says AK Dua, deputy general manager, productivity services, Tata Motors, "We have tried to
be innovative in each of our initiatives." For instance, the first thing that the team addressed was the need to create champions and opinion leaders
from various divisions within CVD. Under the Total Productivity Model, the division started using a system under which an individual would be the
owner of a machine. It would be this person's responsibility to improve its performance and to keep it clean. "When you deal with people, you deal
with emotions. We found that there was a lot of resistance and even hostility towards this model. Someone pulled out a peg from a machine to spite
the attempt. So four senior managers took up the ownership of one machine each to set a precedent. They would clean up the machine themselves.
Soon, we have others asking if they can do this too," says Mr Dua. Even in the area of

Millions of users can be linked to each other through this software at one time. The software is often free and easily available. Services such as
Kazaa, Ares, LimeWire and BearShare are examples of sites that offer these programs free of charge. Other times, the software may be offered in the
form of a subscription, such as iTunes and Napster. But is file sharing ethical? The music industry says no, where as the millions of file sharers agree
that downloading is.
History of Downloading Audio over the Internet
With broadband Internet service becoming more accessible and affordable, more people are looking to download audio over the web. File sharing
first came into the public eye with the popularization of MP3 files in the mid– to late 1990s. MP3s would commonly be uploaded to free web space
accounts such as Geocities and Tripod (Wikipedia, par.3). This process only worked for a small amount of time due to limited file space on websites.
When peer–to–peer software was created, file sharing became easily usable by any Internet user. Napster, created in 1999, was the first major P2P
file sharing tool and popularized file sharing for the masses (Wikipedia, par.3). After Napster was taken to trial for copyright violations, the
peer–2–peer movement looked to be going out of business. Then a new wave of file sharing came along. These websites offered audio

The Great Gatsby Conflicted Man
The Great Gatsby is the seminal work of F. Scott Fitzgerald; it was published in 1925, squarely in the roaring 20's scene that inspired the events of the
novel. Fitzgerald died just fifteen years later in 1940 at the age of 44 thinking that he was a failure ("F. Scott Fitzgerald"). The Great Gatsby is set in
the Jazz Age of America, where cultural advances in music, fashion, and social etiquette, combined with the prohibition of alcohol, culminated in a
raucous, extravagant, high–spending lifestyle. No one epitomizes this more than the mysterious Jay Gatsby, whose parties are the talk of New York
City. However, as we discover, this is merely a facade: the real Jay Gatsby is a lovelorn, conflicted man. His love for Daisy is what drives him,... Show

To the public, he's an elusive, party–loving socialite, but as we discover through Nick's eyes, Gatsby is actually a charming yet reserved man. Ever
since he was a dirt–poor kid in North Dakota, Gatsby felt he was destined for something more. He is a self–driven man, and while his desire for wealth
and power is innate, it is not the only thing that motivates him. His love for Daisy and desire to win her back cause him to buy a luxurious
mansion on West Egg directly across the bay from Daisy and Tom's mansion where he throws extravagant parties in the hopes of luring Daisy to one
of them. Gatsby's actual personality runs opposite to how he is perceived by the public, and this dichotomy is important to the themes of the novel.
Nick, the narrator, usually has disdain for wealthy people, holds respect for Gatsby. As Nick says in his last words to Gatsby, '"They're a rotten
crowd," I shouted across the lawn. "You're worth the whole damn bunch put together."' (Fitzgerald 160). We see Gatsby's nature when he takes the
blame for Daisy when she kills Myrtle. Even though she has abandoned him, he maintains the lie to protect

This paper should not only be of interest to P2P designers, but also to engineers at upper– and lower–tier ISPs, who are interested in acquiring a
thorough understanding of
P2P overlays and traВ±c. Because P2P ВЇle sharing systems can generate vast quantities of traВ±c, networking engineers, who dimension the network
and introduce content distribution devices such as caches, need a basic understanding of how major P2P ВЇle sharing systems operate. Although there
has been recent work in analyzing the ВЇle– sharing workload in KaZaA [8] and [18], to our knowledge we are the ВЇrst to undertake a comprehensive
study of a hierarchical unstructured overlay for a P2P system.
The paper focuses on the KaZaA overlay network and index management. It ad– dresses neither KaZaA's downloading protocol (for example, KaZaA's
parallel down– loading and request queuing) nor its incentive scheme for encouraging uploading. The paper is complementary to [8] and [18], which
focus on KaZaA ВЇle–sharing traВ±c. It is also complementary to a recent measurement study on pollution in P2P ВЇle sharing systems [19].
This paper is organized as follows. Section 2 provides an overview of KaZaA.
Section 3 describes are measurement apparatus. Section 4 presents our measurement results. Section 5 sets forth basic design principles for
unstructured P2P ВЇle sharing applications. Section 6 surveys related work. Finally, Section 7 summarizes our ВЇndings and concludes.

Performance Of Team Baldwin At Success
Assessment Introduction This assignment evaluates the performance of team Baldwin around the success in managing the company over five rounds
of the simulation. The assessment will be focused on the round analysis areas with key attention on inventory, profit and contribution margin,
emergency loans, and stock price. In addition, the assignment reflects on the areas of improvement and how the team could have developed
effectiveness in addressing these key areas in round analysis. The Baldwin team was composed of the members Mary Armstrong, Shawn Williams,
Chelsea Trujillo, Daniel Arensmeier and Brenda Reyes. Team Baldwin understood that its own success begins from a well–constructed strategy with a
proper execution plan. The Baldwin company adopted a Differentiation Strategy with a Product Lifecycle Focus. Baldwin considered the scope of the
Capstone business strategy in the implementation of the objectives of the company. These strategies revolved around the R&D, marketing, production,
and finance departments. The highest priority was building effective and successful team environments along with communication techniques.
Excellent communication skills are essential in virtual teams, which is why this should always be a crucial area of personal development for team
members (Manktelow, J., 2012). The second instrument in understanding the Capsim simulation strategy was having knowledge of the market growth

The Birth Of Napster To The Death Of Privacy Essays
The Birth of Napster To The Death of Privacy
One of the most debated issues before our society is the issue of internet privacy. Privacy is such a valued concept that in today's world we pay good
money in order to keep intruders out of our computer systems and out of our lives. Peer–to–Peer downloading is a major factor to the internet privacy
issue. Peer–to–Peer downloading (also known as "file sharing") is considered by Microsoft to be "the act of making files on one computer accessible
to others on a network." The original use of file sharing was simply meant for users to send files to one another. It has now become one of the biggest
dilemmas of our modern society. Does the government have the right to search your private files ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The way Napster worked is by searching other peers "shared" files. Let's say that someone was searching for any song by the band Metallica, the search
would report back what is available to be downloaded. Once you double–click on that first mp3 that you would like to download, you officially become
"fair game" for the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). After the birth of Napster, there was an explosion of programs that tried to
leech off their fame. The next big thing comes when a new and more efficient program to share files emerges. During 2002, a program called
BitTorrent arises. This program revolutionized peer–to–peer downloading for many reasons. First and foremost, because of the percentage of
broadband users, downloading a music file has become an extremely quick and painless task. Using Napster with a phone–line connection, it would
take an average of half an hour to download one song. With BitTorrent and the increase of broadband users, it takes a matter of minutes (if even) to
download the entire album. But why is BitTorrent so successful? BitTorrent's successfulness is attributed to the method users share their files. Instead
of downloading the file from one user, BitTorrent breaks up the file into thousands of pieces and takes a part of the file from each user that is willing
to share it. For example, let's say that there are 10 other peers downloading the T.V. show Lost, 11

Interview Questions and Answers
The Best Answers to Tough Interview Questions Tell me about yourself. This is really more of a request than a question. But these few words can put
you on the spot in a way no question can. Many quickly lose control of the interview during the most critical time– the first five minutes. This is not the
time to go into a lengthy history or wander off in different directions. Your response should be focused and purposeful. Communicate a pattern of
interests and skills that relate to the position in question. Consider your response to this question as a commercial that sells your autobiography.

Such responses indicate a lack of long–term interest since you do not plan to be around for long. While some may respond that they honestly haven't
really thought that far ahead, the interviewer infers that the applicant lacks vision and goals. Describe a major goal you've set for yourself recently.
Give an example of a goal you both set and achieved. Ideally, this should be a professional goal; such as improved time management skills, achieved
new performance targets, or learned a new skill. A personal example can also be appropriate if it reinforces your pattern of accomplishments. For
example, if you take a great deal of initiative and quickly move into leadership positions, you might use a personal example relating to your recent
community work: organized a community walk–a–thon that raised $30,000 in matching funds to purchase new computers for the local library. Talk
about results of achieving your goal. This indicates you set realistic goals and that you can focus on outcomes. Select an example that has interesting
outcomes related to your efforts. The example should showcase your skills and abilities. Now that you've had a chance to learn more about us, what
would you change about our company? Be careful here. Most companies don't want you to come in and shake up the place. At the same time, they
don't want someone who says, "Nothing, everything looks great here." Seek a middle ground by focusing on one or two

Solubility Advantages And Disadvantages Of Lubricants In...
Lubricants
Lubricants as the name suggest, reduce friction between powder mix and the die walls during compression and ejection. They also prevents the mixed
powders/ granules from sticking to the processing zone of the tablet press especially the punches and die. In some cases, lubricants reduce
inter–particulate friction and thus, improve flow rates of powders or granules. The best lubricants are those with low shear strength but strong cohesive
tendencies perpendicular to the line of shear.
Lubricants can be classified based on their solubility characteristics into
Soluble lubricants e.g., Polyethylene glycol (PEG), Polyoxyethylene stearates, and Lauryl sulphate salts.
Insoluble lubricants e.g., Magnesium stearate, glyceryl behenate, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They may also increase the aqueous solubility of poorly soluble drug substance in the gastrointestinal tract and, as a result, the rate of dissolution of the
active agent will increase. It should be noted that the surfactants should not interact with the drug substance as this may affect the dissolution rate of
the drug substance. Example of surfactant include sodium lauryl sulphate (One of the most popular surface–active agent that improves the wetting
properties of hydrophobic tablets), Cetylpyridine chloride, glyceryl monooleate etc.
Conclusion
Excipients are essential in the formulation of tablet dosage forms as it ensures successful manufacturing process and quality of the resultant formulation.
Proper selection of excipients and their relative concentrations in the formulation is important in development of a successful pharmaceutical
formulation. Although excipient are often categorized as inert, preformulation studies can help determine how these excipient influence the stability,
bioavailability, and processability of the dosage forms.
The need for acquiring more information and use standards for excipients has been recognized in a joint venture of the Academy of Pharmaceutical
Sciences and the Council of the Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. The result is called the Handbook of Pharmaceutical Excipients. This
reference work is now distributed widely throughout the world.

I can remember waving goodbye to my parents in the Abner's parking lot after I had completed the dreadful day of moving into my dorm. Since I am
in the FastTrack Program, I was able to move in two days earlier before the real madness started. I can remember complaining to my mother about
having to retake Writing 101 my first semester because I had already done that in high school and I thought it was pointless, but I was extremely wrong.
Throughout this year writing has taught me more about life than just throwing some words on a piece of paper and hoping for a decent grade. By taking
this course over again, I have realized that it truly has helped me grow as a writer. My teacher last year, Ms. Harper, absolutely ruined me for
writing. She always had the attitude that she could care less if we passed or failed, but Mr.Dunkin, on the other is completely different. There is also
something about being in the same environment with my peers that made it easier going into. This was either their first time taking a writing class or
not, they were still nervous because college writing is different than high school. This has an effect on me bettering my writings as well. I would
consider myself a pretty opinionated person when it involves issues that I believe in. Although, I hate to say this, but I prefer to be one of those people
who can hide behind a computer screen and voice that opinion instead of confrontation. When I was writing the research paper about whether or not

Districts to assess if a MOC is appropriate for their ED or if an implemented MOC is functioning to its utmost potential. The tool is intended to be
used at an ED level in a collaborative approach with all key stakeholders. The Self–Assessment tool rates the effectiveness of each model. Results of

Keystone Habit Research Paper
Keystone habit is a change of a behavior that can form other positive habits. It creates a chain reaction on the way we live our life. Based on "Habits as
Change Levers" by Daniel Denison and Levi Nieminen, the authors give an example on how changing keystone habit can affect other habit and be
advantageous. To start with, Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is an authority that manages all public transportation in New York City and
surrounding areas including Long Island. "This includes a high–volume subway system, which carries an average of 5.4 million passengers per day
(1.6 billion per year)" (Denison and Nieminen 26). The subway service not only helps the New Yorker to escape the traffic congestion, but also
tourist to get around the city. So, it was crucial for MTA's crews to make sure the subway system is operating without stop and safely. However, the
subway system must still be repaired... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This unprecedented decision was made when the subway system experienced several high–profile safety incidents. It involved a worker fatality and a
blizzard that left some passengers stranded for 10 hours without food, water and heat. As a result, a program named FastTrack was introduced to
identify and shut down the whole track's section for maintenance from 10 p.m. until 5a.m. of the following day. This allows the maintenance crews to
access the tracks, signals, cables and other rail components without any interruption. At first, the public outcry over the new subway service because
they never accustomed to any interruption to the service. However, the program has given many benefits over time. It was reported that it has
"improved productivity, saved money (estimated savings of $16.7 million in 2012), cut accident rates nearly in half, and increased train reliability by
nearly 5%" (26). These achievement is clearly achieved because MTA has changed its keystone habit, which is running the train without

Laa Essay
Due to one of the 5 axioms in Urban Economics– Prices adjust to achieve Location equilibrium– you can already assume that property prices in LA are
going to be extremely high. LA has beautiful year–round weather, a huge economy for advancing industries and amazing geography. LA ranks 2nd out
of 180 cities in the STC climate index, making it an ideal place to live. The average price of a housing unit in LA is right around $590,000, while the
average price for renting a one–bedroom apartment is $1,949. If you want a two–bedroom apartment, the price rockets up to $2,846. In the rest of

The Economic Crash Of 2008 Changed Everyone's Lives
The Economy shifts all the time and comes back to an equilibrium, but the changes it brings are permanent. From 2007 to 2009 the united states
went through an economic downfall. The economic crash in 2008 changed everyone's lives. I will be discussing this more on a personal level as in
how people's actual lives changed, rather than discussing the numbers and how the stock market changed. What happens when the economy crashes
and how does this impact people? I will answer this using the lens that describes the everyday lives of people. What made people realize that the
economy was suffering? People had the same amount of income but the prices of everything around got extremely high. The things that made a huge
impact was the gas prices and loss of jobs. One thing leading to another, with gas prices so high people weren't even able to reach new job opportunities.

During the economic crash in 2008 the gas prices were around five Dollars a gallon when two dollars per gallon would've been a normal price. How
did everyday lives of people change because of this? Well, many people made permanent changes in their lives because of this. A lot of people sold
their cars and switched to fuel efficient cars and gave up their happiness and satisfaction of driving big engine SUVs and sports cars. People also
reduced driving and relied more on public transportation. The amount of people on the bus, Bart, and bikes increased rapidly. There was also an
increase in people carpooling and using FastTrack. This led to less people driving but it didn't benefit everyone. People who were jobless or laid off
were not able to go far from home to look for jobs because gas prices were high and public transportation only covered a certain radius. The people who

It's no surprise, considering the Singapore FinTech Festival took place, acting as a global stage for blockchain innovators to strut their stuff. According

Reports pointed to the MAS' efforts to create a digital Singaporean dollar on a blockchain as one potential initiative that could come into play with this
collaboration with the Philippines. The two central banks will also explore streamlined Know Your Customers (KYC) solutions that use blockchain.

This is one of the key elements of the company's Stars, or Special Thanks and Recognition Systems programme. Since its launch three years ago, the
globally acclaimed model has triggered soaring employee satisfaction scores, besides numerous employee suggestions and innovations, many of

File Sharing And The Internet
Introduction File sharing, or peer–to–peer software programs such as Limewire which uses protocol Gnutella, BitTorrent, Internet Relay Chat (IRC),
and programs that are Peer to Peer (P2P) such as KaZaA which uses the protocol FastTrack and others can allow sharing of copyrighted music, games,
movies, software, and other files often without the knowledge or permission of the consumer. Peer–to–Peer programs usually share files by default, to
permit the full amount of sharing across the web. Sharing this copyrighted information is illegal and has led to a considerable rise in anti–piracy
efforts and legislation. Organizations such as the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), the Motion Picture Association of America
(MPAA) and others keep an eye on file sharing on the Internet and notify the University when a computer on its network is illegally sharing
copyrighted files (University of Pennsylvania, n.d.). File–sharing is the process of exchanging files over the Internet. The most common forms of
file–sharing are running an FTP server or using an FTP program.
Overview of the Crime P2P networks mostly serve as a come and get it source on the Internet. In using such a service, the consumer precisely searches
for the item they want, for example images, software, or music. The most important illegal activity involving P2P sharing centers mostly deals with
knowledgeable property rights such as software and music piracy issues. This is an area in which the FBI has been

unauthorized augmented advertising that discussed in the previous section. Other than that, people may not want to rely on mobile phones due to the

Team Baldwin: Competitive Advantage
Business Memo
Competitive Advantage
Team BaldWIN in comparison to other teams, possesses a competitive advantage in R&D. The company's R&D cycle time has been reduced by
40.01%, tied for the largest percentage change in the industry. This reduction in cycle time has allowed BaldWIN to bring products to the market at a
faster rate resulting in more time to produce sales.
Conversely, there are challenges to the company that bring team BaldWIN to a competitive disadvantage. The percentage change in reduced labour
costs (2.95%), reduced material cost (6.39%), and increase in demand (6.37%) are one of the lowest compared to the rest of the teams within the
industry. The amount of emergency loans ($37,984,892) BaldWIN had to take out also puts the company in a major disadvantage.

  • 2. How The Diaspora Helped Violence Essay How the Diaspora helped Violence Having established the motives for the Diaspora aiding the nationalist, now it needs to be analyzed what the diaspora actually did to aid the nationalist movement. The aid can be broken down into three categories, financial, political and physical aid. The first and the biggest being financial aid and this type of aid was collected by members of the Irish Diaspora in the US then given to various different nationalist groups. Seldom was the money given to violent groups like the IRA but instead was given to other groups and in turn led to the purchasing of arms or goods and stuff like that which the IRA could use. One of the major organizations that did this was Noraid or Irish Northern Aid. The true purpose of Noraid dealt with arms smuggling and fund raising and thus were closely aligned and allied with the IRA(Brian Hanley 2004:1). The support for Noraid in terms of funding can be tracked in the same exact way that the general diasporatic support can be tracked. The hunger strikes of 1980–81, in which IRA prisoners staged a hunger strike to protest conditions in their prison in which a few of them died, was monumental in the history of Noraid because it led to not only an increase of donation which in turn were given to IRA and groups like it but it also changed the image of Noraid in the US. It led to an increase in membership and made the organization less radical which meant that it year by year would have generally more memberships and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Kenneth Dodge's Theory Of Juvenile Delinquency Deviance among adolescents in our society has many different causes and multiple theories throughout the history of criminal justice have been developed to attempt to explain, prevent and reduce incidents of status offenses and juvenile delinquency. There are theories varying from individual, to social and environmental. All of these theories have their merits and contribute in one way or another to the advancement of the understanding of juvenile delinquency and the treatment and prevention of delinquency within our society. Those that have proven to be successful we have applied in our justice system while those that are proven over time to be ineffective or defective we have discarded. There is no single theory that applies to all delinquent behavior in all situations. It is best to determine what theory may work best in each specific case based on the individual and the specific situation. Dodge's information processing theory of social problem solving (Crick and Dodge 1994) was developed by Kenneth Dodge in an attempt to explain the interaction between the child's cognitive development and their social environment. This theory combines elements of both the individual and the social environment and examines how these two variables interact with each other to present a model for juvenile delinquency. During my investigation of this topic I discovered that an adapted model of Dodge's theory existed that seemed to be more encompassing of the causes of juvenile delinquency, ... Secretly, I guess that we all identify somewhat with Indiana Jones as he plunges from disaster to disaster just surviving by good luck and sheer guts. The good news is that if you ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... If you lived in an apartment next to the building in which you work, the risk involved in getting to work on time is many times lower than that facing a person with a 20 mile commute involving driving to the station, getting kids to school, taking a pre–work study course and public transport. The second process in risk management is the process of Risk Reduction, Minimization or Containment. This process involves planning and action to reduce the risks and, if that is not possible, to introduce strategies to minimize the impact of failure. To manage the risks in our commute, we could reduce risk by moving closer to work, obtaining flexible working hours or undertaking community and political action to improve public transport. Contingency planning such as having alternative routes or transport would be part of this process. The third and fourth processes of Risk

  • 6. Capsim Project Paper Mkt 350 In a classroom far, far away, four people were thrust into a group. Their goal was to succeed in the game known as Capsim. They called themselves Digby 2. This is the real life story of their friendship, challenges, and accomplishments as they worked their way to the top of the game. On a more serious note, our group took Capsim very seriously. In the beginning we were all confused as to how the game worked and where to begin. We looked at the various tutorials and the booklet to try and make some sense of it. Once we had some understanding, we tried to develop our strategy. In the first few rounds we understood it was important to have our company funded through stocks and long term debt. We issued stock the first ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Other than this, we didn't really have any problems with the game or with our group members. Along with capacity, we also made it a focus to limit the amount of overtime and second shift workers. This kept our costs down and our profit margin wider. We paid attention to our inventory on hand and made sure to not schedule more production than was needed. Towards the later rounds, we really seemed to grasp the idea of the game, which can be seen in our large increase in profitability. In the Finance portion, we borrowed money in the first five weeks to pay off our current debt. As the game got into the later rounds we began paying off our current and long term debt because our profits were increasing at a higher rate. Overall, we believe that our group had a decent understanding of the concepts as we finished with high market share and profits. Our group took time to meet every week to discuss our strategy for Capsim. We met on Mondays, usually for an hour or so to discuss the task at hand. We also met on Wednesdays if there was doubt in our decisions from Monday or if one of our group members could not make it. Our group chose to discuss the game as a whole, rather than sectioning it up to make sure that everyone was on the same page. We didn't have any conflicts in our decisions and actually got along very well. Overall as a group we thought Capsim had its advantages and disadvantages. We did learn a lot about the ... Engineering is what keeps our people moving and up–to–date with technology. It is a satisfying career, both financially and mentally. He was more comfortable working with the second company, as this opportunity allowed him to combine the technical aspects of a position with management duties. Working in Al Barrak, he is capable of designing, maintaining and developing electrical control systems and components to certain specifications, concentrating on economy, quality, and sustainability. He is involved in projects from the idea and detail of the specified design through to implementation, testing and handover. He is also involved in projects that require people in his field to work as a team. In other words, to ensure that a decision is well made, the positivity of the driving forces has to exceed the negativity of the restraining forces. People start to believe and act in ways that support the new direction. The transition from unfreeze to change does not happen overnight: People take time to embrace the new direction and participate proactively in the change In order to accept the change and contribute to making the change successful, people need to understand how the changes will benefit them. Not everyone will fall in line just because the change is necessary and will benefit the company. This is a common assumption and pitfall that should be avoided.

This has become the point of curiosity for individuals and firms to try and halt the Fast Track protocol. Thus the majority would be the giFT project. With reference to Bergner, the preliminary indication of giFT was the regularly used interface toFastTrack . This giFT almost reached the point to break the FastTrack protocol. Therefore, FastTrack responded by customizing their encryption technique making it more complex. Since the FastTrack protocol became more complex, the giFT changed to enhance a system that can accumulate many assorted heterogeneous networks and even then, acted as an entity which can share files. From then on, it was transformed to giFT Internet File Transport. This transformation triggered the development of a brand new and improvised network protocol very similar to FastTrack. That is known as OpenFT. 6.1The OpenFT Architecture OpenFT protocol divides the peers in its domain into different roles but instead of 2–tier architecture, it has added an extra tier building 3–tier control architecture as demonstrated in the figure. Peers are divided into different categories based on few factors. They are network access performance, processing speed, usage of its memory as well as accessibility. The first tier is made up of numerous traditional machines which are also called as User peers. Every peer in this tier has connections to big group of search peers. The user peers later on might ... Its department for productivity services has been the change agent to achieve the dual task of employee involvement and waste elimination. It would be this person's responsibility to improve its performance and to keep it clean. "When you deal with people, you deal with emotions. History of Downloading Audio over the Internet With broadband Internet service becoming more accessible and affordable, more people are looking to download audio over the web. File sharing first came into the public eye with the popularization of MP3 files in the mid– to late 1990s. MP3s would commonly be uploaded to free web space accounts such as Geocities and Tripod (Wikipedia, par.3). This process only worked for a small amount of time due to limited file space on websites. When peer–to–peer software was created, file sharing became easily usable by any Internet user. Napster, created in 1999, was the first major P2P file sharing tool and popularized file sharing for the masses (Wikipedia, par.3). After Napster was taken to trial for copyright violations, the peer–2–peer movement looked to be going out of business. Then a new wave of file sharing came along. These websites offered audio ... The Great Gatsby is set in the Jazz Age of America, where cultural advances in music, fashion, and social etiquette, combined with the prohibition of alcohol, culminated in a raucous, extravagant, high–spending lifestyle. Privacy is such a valued concept that in today's world we pay good money in order to keep intruders out of our computer systems and out of our lives. Peer–to–Peer downloading is a major factor to the internet privacy issue. Peer–to–Peer downloading (also known as "file sharing") is considered by Microsoft to be "the act of making files on one computer accessible to others on a network." The original use of file sharing was simply meant for users to send files to one another. It has now become one of the biggest dilemmas of our modern society. Does the government have the right to search your private files ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The way Napster worked is by searching other peers "shared" files. Once you double–click on that first mp3 that you would like to download, you officially become "fair game" for the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). After the birth of Napster, there was an explosion of programs that tried to leech off their fame. The next big thing comes when a new and more efficient program to share files emerges. During 2002, a program called BitTorrent arises. This program revolutionized peer–to–peer downloading for many reasons. First and foremost, because of the percentage of broadband users, downloading a music file has become an extremely quick and painless task. Using Napster with a phone–line connection, it would take an average of half an hour to download one song. With BitTorrent and the increase of broadband users, it takes a matter of minutes (if even) to download the entire album. But why is BitTorrent so successful? BitTorrent's successfulness is attributed to the method users share their files. Instead of downloading the file from one user, BitTorrent breaks up the file into thousands of pieces and takes a part of the file from each user that is willing to share it. For example, let's say that there are 10 other peers downloading the T.V. show Lost, 11 ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The best lubricants are those with low shear strength but strong cohesive tendencies perpendicular to the line of shear.
