Through my research I discovered that although Screen Gems is not a genre
specific company, the three romance films above rank in the top 6 highest
gross value. Therefore, based on these figures, I believe that Screen Gems
would be a good production company to use for the genre of Romance.

4. DiNovi Pictures.
Denise Di Novi set up her own production company at Columbus Pictures in
1993. A major of the films she produced are Romance;

Being a small production company based in the US, Di Novi doesn’t actually
specialise in a particular genre, however the three latest films she produced
within the last 2 years are all in the genre of Romance. The Gross values of each
film are quite high, spite the fact that ‘The Best of Me’ has only been out for
less than a week.

5. Temple Hill Entertainment.
• Temple Hill Entertainment is an American based film production company
established in February 2006. Three romance films produced by this company are:

Gross value is a lot higher. Temple Hill Entertainment is a larger company and
therefore does not specialise in one specific genre.
