1. GC4: Material List
This is my material list for “High School Musical”. A material list is very important within
creating my product because it ensures that I will include all my design materials and that all
the supplies are present so it will be very time efficient. It will also save on the money
budget because it will let me know how many supplies I can get and also the quantity. This
will help let me know everything that is required for the overall construction of the product.

backboard the audience will
be able to see the posters

Red paper My sister has provided me

I need the paper to be red so
that the back colour of the
posters will be already the
school colour and doesn’t
need to be painted which is
time efficient. I know that
the school colour is red from
researching imaged of the
production and also having
seen the cast perform it they
have chosen red as a key
colour that runs throughout
their whole physical setting.
Stencil of the wildcat symbol. Personally hand drawn I need this so that when
doing a number of different
flags the logo of the high
school basketball team is key
and all the same. This
provides the flags to be
consistent. I know that this is
the Wildcats key symbol
because on pg1-2 the
cheerleader sings the team
song of the basketballs team
who are called “The
Wildcats”.

2. Stencil of the letters that
need to be included on the
design
Personally hand drawn I need this because on my
design I have included the
teams name “Wildcats” and
their motto “Get your head
in the Game” I know this
because on Page 1 they
repeat their name repeatedly
in the cheerleader’s song and
also in the basketball scene
the player shout as a group
their motto. I need the
stencils because I want the
letters to be bold and stand
out for the audience to
clearly see and also that they
are even and consistent
throughout the whole
posters.

Home base I need this when painting my
design on the red paper I
have got a thick white
boarder and also the symbol
of the logo wildcat. I have
used white paint because
throughout the whole
psychical setting the main
colours that are used are red,
white, gold and black.
Therefore I have included
this in my flag design to fit in
with the overall set
background to provide
constituency throughout the
whole set.
Black Sharpie Pen College I need this to provide a black
outline round the boarder
and the Wildcat Logo and the
lettering. I have done this so
the key design will stand out
against the red background
therefore making is much
clearer to see for the
audience from a distance.
