1. The noticeboard and Sharpay’s locker have been on the list to do from the
start. The noticeboard fits well with the set as the colour scheme of the board
fit with the rest of the set. The wildcats logo and flag and paw print to fit with
team spirit and basketball team. The rest of the set is bright colours and so is
my noticeboard as it is used in only two scenes I wanted it to be noticeable. I
stayed with my first idea
from the start but had to
change the menu and science
decathlon sign because
teachers disagreed with the
design as I wanted it on
coloured paper but you can’t
use the paper I used to print
off. I didn’t want too much
red as it may not be seen from the audience’s point of view. There is a scene in
the canteen so that is why there is a menu on the noticeboard. The wildcats
flag and logo links to the wildcats flags and logo on the flats at the back. The
Science Decathlon poster links with the Science Decathlon posters on the
lockers and the big game sign links to the big game posters on the lockers.
These are the
posters on the
locker.
2. In the script Sharpay talks about signing up for the Winter Musical so on the
noticeboard is where they sign up. Sharpay: “Oh look the signup sheet.” They
mention Kelsie is the composer in the script so at the bottom of the signup
sheet it says “COMPOSER KELSIE NEILSON”. The reason it says “WHAT TEAM?!”
because in the song ‘Getcha Head in the Game’ they end it with “What team?
Wildcats”.
Sharpay’s locker is just painted pink and I glittered up the
letters up pink just to make it stand out more and link to
her being so girly.
