2. Film Idea 1:
Working Title: At the moment I’m considering ‘I’ll get what I want’ as my working title, because it describes perfectly the intensions of Lauren in the film.
Film Length: I think my film will roughly be 10 minutes because I need enough time to tell the story but I don’t want it to drag on.
Tagline: My tagline is ‘They say people can change. But can then?’ I wanted to get across the message of the film but not give away how it ends.
Key Characters: Lauren is a 17 year old girl, who lives with her mum after her dad walked out on them when she was 12. She is very selfish and arrogant and
does whatever she can to ensure that she gets whatever she wants. She is boy crazy and thinks she can treat boys like dirt after what her dad did to her and her
mum.
Brad is a 17 year old boy, who has just moved his mum and dad is a happy home. He is smart and kind and is always looking out for others. He’s a good
looking guy, but doesn’t know how to approach the idea of ‘talking to girls’ as he’s fairly awkward.
Synopsis: Lauren messages too many boys on snapchat but never has an interest in anything further with them. A new guy joins the school called Brad and
Lauren thinks he’s going to be her next guy to message. Lauren messages him for a few nights and wants to meet up with him, but Brad isn’t sure as he knows
she doesn’t want anything more. Brad thinks he might be starting to like Lauren but is afraid to tell her for fear of her turning him away. Lauren then starts to
develop feeling for Brad after him trying to change her.
Target Audience: My target audience for my short film would be between the ages of 13 and 19. This is because they would be able to empathise the
characters.

Working Title: My working title is ‘Virus’, because in the film Sky sends a virus to her whole school.
Film Length: My film is going to be around 10 minutes because I don’t want it to drag on but I want it to be long enough to get the whole story in.
Tag line: My tagline is ‘You’ll forget but I’ll remember’ to include the idea that she makes everyone forget who she is, but she knows deep down who she really
is.
Key Characters: Sky is 17 years old and doesn’t have many friends at school. She feels that everyone is out to get her and that no one likes her. She is very
clever and her favourite subject is computer science.
Tom 17 and is the good looking guy in the year who every girl wants and every guy wants to be. He plays rugby and has recently broken up with his girlfriend
Sophie.
Synopsis: Sky is at school on her own and doesn’t have any friends. She spends her breaks and lunches in the computer room working on a virus she’s been
planning since she was 12. She has always hated her school because no one is nice to her, so she feels as though she has to get back at them all. She creates
and sends a virus to everyone in her school that makes them forget everything they already know about her. After 2 weeks Sky starts to hate her new life and
wants to go back to how it was before. She’s fed up of trying to keep up with the rest of the girls and be someone that she isn’t. She then sends out an
antivirus and reverses everything that happened to go back to her normal life.
Target Audience: My target audience for my short film would be between the ages of 14 and 18. This is because they’re around the age of the characters in
the film so we be able to relate to them.
