Dear Second Family Records on behalf of Patent Pending,
We are currently writing to you as we are currently studying our A2 media
course. Within our coursework, we must produce a music video for a song and
also then create an accompanying digipak and digipak magazine advertisement.
From listening to Patent Pending’s song All-star Hipster, we believe that this song
would be the perfect song to do. This is because this song does not have a music
video and so would not be able to take any inspiration from anywhere. We also
believe that the song is also well written and contains a theme and narrative that
would be very suitable for our music video.
When we create our music video and other products, we will only use these
products for an educational purpose. This means that we will only be using the
products for the teachers’ use and the use of the OCR exam board in which they
will moderate the quality of our products. With these two people being the only
two people that will use our products, it means that we will not use the products
for any kind of monetary gain. This means that we will not violate any of your
terms and simply want your permission to use the song to be listened to and
used as an example.
Hopefully after reading this you will understand the situation that we are in and
will allow us to use this song for our media studies coursework.
