1. August 8, 2018. The Cooperative Development Authority
entered into a Memorandum of Agreement with the
Department of Agrarian Reform last July 19, 2017 and the
project was dubbed as “CDA-DAR Partnership II: Ensuring
Sustainable Operations of Registered Agrarian Reform (AR)
Cooperatives”. The project aims to develop functional
agrarian reform cooperatives managing profitable and
sustainable enterprises in order to better serve its members
and contribute in improving the quality of life of ARBS, their
households and rural women.
The project was implemented for a period of one year in all regions and the project components
covered the following: 1. Issuance of Certificate of Compliance to 933 ARCs; 2. Provision of technical

On June 30, 2018,
the project ends,
and the year-end
assessment was
conducted at
Bohol Bee Farm
Resort, Bohol on
July 31- August 2,
2018. The partici-
pants were DAR
and CDA officials
and Sr. CDS of CDA as the Focal Person for the Project. Each region presented the targets and
accomplishments including the problems, issues and concerns that need to be address accordingly. For
region 1, all the targets in every deliverables were accomplished through the collective efforts of the CDA
and DAR Regional technical personnel as well as in the provinces of Ilocos region. To sum it all, the over-
all accomplishments in the national level are 99% for the COC issuance and 100% in all other
components of the project. The partnership is looking forward for a phase 3 projectof CDA Dar
