Culture East asked the student to create a podcast focusing on news that would be easy to listen to for all ages. The student created a 2 minute and 30 second podcast on SoundCloud about the London Bridge attack, meeting Culture East's aims. While the background music and recent news topic were strengths, the podcast could be improved by being longer around 5 minutes, such as by adding a guest for conversation.

2. Did you meet the aims set by culture east?
I think i did meet the aims that culture east asked for. I created a podcast focusing on the news. I also made
it very easy to listen as all you have to do is search for it on soundcloud. In terms of audience i made it
listenable to people of all ages as this means more listeners.

3. To what extent does your news segment fit with your original idea?
I think my podcast fits with my original ideas because i stuck with a news report as that is what culture east
asked for. I also wanted to make a news report because there is so much to choose from. I also think i stuck
with my original ideas because i said i wanted my podcast to be around 2 mins and it was 2 mins and 30
seconds.

4. What are your strengths of your audio?
I think a strength of my podcast is the background, intro and outro music. I think this because i used
copyright free music to avoid copyright issues and the music suits the theme of a news report. I also think
what i spoke about is a strength because i spoke about the london bridge attack which happened very
recently and people have many thoughts on the subject so it gets people talking.

5. What are the areas for improvement?
I think the main area for improvement is the length of my podcast. It is quite short as it is only 2 mins and 30
seconds. I think it could be better if it was around 5 mins. To achieve this i am going to involve someone else
as a guest to have a conversation which will add time to my podcast.
