1. This is a Wide shot it establishes the
shot and with all the trees so it gives us
that isolation feeling.
This is a mid shot showing us the
three characters which lets us know
they are a family.
This is a close up shot of Sarah talking
to her daughter about her birthday when
they get back home.
This is the end of the conversation
and its also a long shot as you can
see the car in the distance
approaching.
2. The editing pace in this scene is slow
and is having a relaxed conversation
with each character and also this scene
is showing normality making us think
that nothing is going to happen
This scene In total last 29 seconds and
contains 7 cut scenes it a slow pace editing
because it becomes more of a shock to us
of what comes after the conversation
3. This scene in the film last 6.5
second it stays in this position
and does not cut to the next
scene it establishes the shot
and tells us where they are.
This would be a POV shot
from the young girl in the back
seat it last for about 4 seconds
4. This is the WS it shows
us the three Characters it
shows us that they are a
family this scene last
about 2.5seconds and
then it cuts away from
this.
5. At the back of the seat is dead also. The crash
scene is very fast paced it’s a couple of frame
difference there are 6 shots in total and the last
scene it’s a crane shot and it goes up to show is
the result of the crash and also you can see a
little blood on the ground in the last picture to
show us or lets us know that the child and also
its give you that fast paced experience to make
you feel apart of the crash.
This scene all happened in 4 seconds it
was very fast editing to give us a shock of
what happened it was so fast so that it
wouldn’t be too predictable
The CGI in this scene are the Rods
that come to the window in the as
you can see it the blood on the seat
before it hit and the fake blood
below the car to make to look real
as you can see in the last picture is
also CGI
