OBJECTIVE EXAMINATION
The advantage in using this type is
that teacherss are familiar with it.

ESSAY EXAMINATION
It allows individuality and expression of
the students although it may not cover
an entire range of knowledge.

WRITTEN WORK
It allows learning in the process as well
as in the completion of the process.

PORTFOLIO ASSESSMENT
It the compilation of the reports,
documents and activities to a certain
topic, theme or subject.
5.
ASSESSMENT RUBRICS
It is a scoring guide that seeks to
evaluate a student’s performance
based on the criteria rather than a
single numerical score.
Three common characteristics of Rubrics:
• emphasis is on a stated objective
• performance is rated in range
• include specific performance
characteristics arranged in levels or
degrees in which a standard has been met
Holistic Rubric
Is the color of milk and fresh
snow, the color produced
by the combination of all
the colors of the visible
spectrum.

Dimensional
Rubric
Is the color of coal, ebony,
and of outer space. It is the
darkest color, the result of
the absence of or complete
absorption of light.

It is a scoring guide that seeks to

  • 2. 1. OBJECTIVE EXAMINATION The advantage in using this type is that teacherss are familiar with it.
  • 3. 2. ESSAY EXAMINATION It allows individuality and expression of the students although it may not cover an entire range of knowledge.
  • 4. 3. WRITTEN WORK It allows learning in the process as well as in the completion of the process.
  • 5. 4. PORTFOLIO ASSESSMENT It the compilation of the reports, documents and activities to a certain topic, theme or subject.
  • 6. 5. ASSESSMENT RUBRICS It is a scoring guide that seeks to evaluate a student’s performance based on the criteria rather than a single numerical score.
  • 7. Three common characteristics of Rubrics: • emphasis is on a stated objective • performance is rated in range • include specific performance characteristics arranged in levels or degrees in which a standard has been met
  • 8. Holistic Rubric Is the color of milk and fresh snow, the color produced by the combination of all the colors of the visible spectrum. TWO TYPES OF RUBRICS Dimensional Rubric Is the color of coal, ebony, and of outer space. It is the darkest color, the result of the absence of or complete absorption of light.
