This document discusses the two types of mirrors: plane mirrors and spherical mirrors. Spherical mirrors are further divided into convex mirrors and concave mirrors. Concave mirrors have an inward curving reflecting surface and are used for applications like shaving mirrors, makeup mirrors, and as reflectors in searchlights and telescopes. Convex mirrors have an outward curving surface and are used as rear view mirrors in vehicles and street light reflectors.
