1. Pachai pattani Halwa
Ingredients
200 gmsdry green peas
250 gmsghee
400 gmssugar
5 gms green cardamom (elaichi) powder
15 gms almonds(badam) slivers
15 gms pistachio sliced
Method
Soak the green peas in enough water for 3 hours. Drain welland blend in a
mixer to a coarse paste withoutusing any water. Keep aside.
Heat the ghee in a deep non-stick kadhai, add the green peaspaste and cook
on a medium flame for 25 minutes, while stirring continuously.
Add the sugar, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3 minutes, while
stirring continuously.
Serve warm garnished with almond and pistachio slivers .
