1. Nellikkai Saatham
Ingredients
200 gramsraw rice or basmathirice
250 gramsgrated gooseberry
20 gms roasted peanuts
10 gms Dry Red chillies
3 gms Turmeric powder
2 sprigsCurry leaves
Salt to taste
3 gms mustard seeds
10 gms Bengalgram dal
10 gms urad dal
30 gms grated coconut
Method
Soak ,wash and cook rice , spread it on a platter to cool.
Paste red chillies, coconutand half the gooseberries
Heat oil in a pan , add mustard seeds, lentils , peanuts, and other ingredients
other than rice, add the paste and simmer until the spices are fragnant.
Add salt and rice, toss gently , serve hot.
