Crossroad Films is preparing for their final day of shooting tomorrow. They will be filming scenes inside Detective Foster's home where he discovers his murdered family. Only a few props like keys, a phone, and laptop case will be needed. While rain is forecast, the indoor shoot will not be affected. They will film a range of shots according to the shot list to create the best possible trailer, then enter post-production to edit the footage.
2. Shooting Preparations:
Tomorrow will be the final day of
shooting for Crossroad Films. I have
learnt a lot from the 2 previous shoots
we have done for our trailer and
therefore I expect to learn something
from tomorrow’s shoot. In terms of
props for tomorrow’s shoot, we won’t
need as much compared to the previous
shoots, we will be using props like a set
of keys for Detective Foster’s house as
well as a mobile phone. We may also
use a laptop case which Detective Foster
will carry into his home. On the other
hand, compared to our previous shoots
we don’t have as many shots to film,
however we will be making sure that
the shots we do film are excellent and
look good.
3. Weather Forecast:
As you can see, currently rain is
forecasted for tomorrow’s shoot.
This usually would be the worst
possible weather scenario for
Crossroad Films, however luckily
for us tomorrow’s shoot is
primarily going to take place
inside, therefore meaning that our
planned shoot will not be affected.
In addition to this, it doesn’t look
like its going to be cold which again
is a good sign for tomorrow’s
shoot.
4. Shooting Agenda:
Tomorrow, Crossroad Films will be
filming the scenes where Detective
Foster is in his home and discovers his
family who were murdered by The
Gripwell Killer. We will be filming a
range of different shots during
tomorrow’s shoot and will be using the
Shot List to make our trailer is as good
as possible. Furthermore, we will also
be adding a few shots here and there to
give us a variety of shots to choose from
for when it comes to finally editing our
trailer. If all goes to plan, then this will
be the final shoot for Crossroad Films,
we will then move into the Post-
Production stage which will see me and
Brandon edit the trailer together using
the chosen shots.
