2. FRONT COVER (IDEA 1)
For this front cover I have got the main image
of a ‘big close up’, showing only from the chin
to the top of the head. I have decided that I am
going to get my artist (Tabitha Lacey) to wear
round glasses and then photo shop the words
‘love and loathe’ in a bubbly, hippie font. I'm
going to have my artist curl her hair and wear
my flower power head band. This will make
viewers think that she is quite a laid back
character. I'm going to have 4 simple, and not
too long headlines to entice the audience into
buying the magazine but not give away too
much. My moto is going to be ‘awaken my
soul’.
3. FRONT COVER (IDEA 2)
For this front cover I have decided to
have my artist have half its face
showing and the other half covered
by a tree. This would be to represent
that my artist is one with nature. My
barcode will be in the left corner. I will
have all my font on the left hand side
of the front cover and blur the left
hand side so the background is less
visible. I will have 4-5 headlines on
the front to entice the audience in.
4. CONTENTS PAGE (IDEA 1)
For this context page I have split into 2
slides between on page. For each
page number it will either be
surrounded by a flower or just a simple
box. I will choose to use a flower if I
have very few images, but if I have lots
of images then it may look a bit much.
I will have a small image in a faded
colour so it can go in front of text
without covering the words completely.
The word ‘contents‘ is going on the left
hand side of the page and it will be in
curly bubbly font.
5. CONTENTS PAGE (IDEA 2)
For this context page the 3 main things
in which you will see first are 3 images.
1 large one on the left side and two
smaller ones on the right side. If I was
to do this one, I would have a boy on
the left side and 2 girls on the right
side. Then underneath I would have all
my context. The 3 main images will be
the 3 biggest things (for example one
of them will be talking about the double
page spread). I would have another
picture lower advertising the
competitions.
6. DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD (IDEA 1)
For this double page spread I
would have my artist hugging a tree
or standing next to a tree. She is
going to just be pulling a natural
laugh to show how happy she is in
life. It will be a question and answer
so that the audience can get to
know a little more about her.
Around the right side of the first
page there will be an enlarged
quote of something she said
throughout the question time that
will stand out an make the person
want to read the whole thing.
7. DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD (IDEA 2)
This double page spread will be a
picture of my artist and her dog
lying in an alley way. This will show
that she is happy with what she has
in life, showing she is a humble
person. I will have her name in bold
writing across the top of the page
but faded so it can go over her face
too. I will have the text going across
and around the floor in a neat order
but with two boxes. I hay add in I
speech bubble about something
important she has said throughout
the interview too.
