Flat Plan Feedback
1. FLAT PLAN FEEDBACK
Showing these images, I asked a few of Kpop fans and a
non-fan for their opinions on my flat plans for my front
cover, contents page and double page spread; here are
there answers.
2. MAE’S OPINIONS
(KPOP FAN)
“I love the masthead’s use of the
@ symbol and how it’s placed in
the center and not on the top left
of the cover like most Western-
magazines; it helps it look more
like a realistic Kpop magazine.”
I like the simple style of this
page, nothing too flashy and
very neat. I also like the use of
the Korean language.
“I think the photo on the left page
looks very cool and professional.
I like the model’s slick hair and
makeup that matches her top that
looks a lot like Korean fashion.
She looks really mysterious and
powerful. ”
3. NAYA’S OPINIONS
(NON-KPOP FAN)
“The grandient colours on the
artist’s name looks really fun
and expressed what type of artist
she might be. The colours and
effects of the background
reminds of techology to me.”
“The small copy of ‘@Kstar’
in the top-right hand corner is
a very nice link to the front
cover and is also something I
see a lot of magazines do.”
“I’ve seen the way big magazines
use the letter effect in the
background of interviews and
think it looks neat as it’s two of
the same letters. The layout of the
text and image is very tidy and
pleasing to the eye.”
4. ANNASTASIYA’S OPINIONS
(KPOP FAN)
“The layout of where the text
will be is neat and lined up.
Even though it may go over
some of her hair, her face is
still the main attraction to
me.”
“It’s a good idea to keep the two
texts that say ‘Contents Page’
close because I knew straight
away that the Korean meant
that! I think zooming into the
model closer would look better.”
“The layout of YEO YOONJIN’s
name along with the introductory
paragraph is very classic. I like
the small image too because it
breaks the bunch of text and
makes the right page more
interesting.”
