Research Paper On Alien Abduction
Some many people in the world believe either that aliens exist or not. They have a confusion if the stories that they hear are real and I am here to
prove that they are. First of all, aliens are species that are foreigner and they are not a citizen of our country where we are living. There has been
many stories about alien abductions, UFO sightings and many more. Many people believe that aliens are real, but other people who don't people
believe in aliens think that they are fake and they don't exist anymore. I believe in aliens and all the UFO sightings that I have read about in an article.
This is because I know people don't put random information on some type of alien abduction. I think people has actually seen something that is not seen

Some example that UFOs are real is the recent UFO sightings from 1900's to 2016. . For example Disc UFO reported hovering over West Virginia
bridge. This is a story about a witness who saw a disc–shaped UFO before it shot off into the sky. The witness says "I just pulled in to park so we
could wait and before I could even put my car in park, I see an object in the sky," At first the witness thought that the object was someone who lived
beside the river and they were shining a spotlight. The witness also stated this ""But it was just so spherical in shape and it was bright. This thing
was just hovering right over the river moving from left to right slowly. I was left speechless watching." Later the object began to move and the
object started to melt and in a blink of an eye the mysterious object disappeared. Another story is a witness that recounts an UFO encounter near
military base. This is a story about a witness who seen a big piece of plastic or a parkette as the were heading toward the military base. She says
that"the edges of the object were kind of fluttering around on the edges, but it can't be because it's standing about 20 feet high off the road.' It also
had a white light that was either coming from behind or from inside of the object. I didn't see any direct light. It seemed to be all indirect." She also
said this"When we reached a distance of about 100 yards, my friend slowed down and stopped the car. Just as we opened the doors, the object
changed shape! It quickly changed into a cone shape. The white light brightened and then streaked straight up with a popping sound scattering dirt and
rocks out from the area. The craft left our sight almost instantly and didn't return." This tells us from when the aliens and UFO are still real and happen

Marketing Website Feedback And How Does The Website Design...
MARKETING WEBSITE FEEDBACK ANALYSIS
Throughout your answers, you are required to refer to feedback data on the feedback data spreadsheet. This task is only using the feedback for the two
questions that related to the website – not the expo.
You are encouraged to discuss the feedback results in your group before writing this feedback analysis.
Things to include when answering the questions:
Purpose – What was the purpose of your website and how does the website design help meet this purpose?
Audience – Referring back to your market research, who was your target market? Was part of your target market assessing your website?
Context – As the website was assessed by people at the Expo, do you think this helped create a sense of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
We know the readers felt this because of the feedback they gave after viewing the website as well as in the grades they gave. This was mainly done
through the websites colour scheme, short paragraphs and use of images.
2.Referencing one of the websites that you assessed at the expo, through the question "Based on the website alone, how likely are you to buy this
product," what was it in that website that made you want to buy the product? Consider elements like colours, written language techniques, graphics.
How did these elements work together to sell the product to you?
One of the websites I assessed was called "clever hinge". This was a product that means you do not lose your Tupperware container lids. The
website was really cleverly laid out, with a red colour scheme. This colour scheme really helped persuade me into wanting to buy their product. Not
only was the colour scheme well thought out, the entire website was laid out in a way that was easy to navigate. Due to this it was very easy to
work out where the information on their product was stored. This information in itself consisted of a few very well done images of their design as
well as providing basic information on the product. It was for this reason I was tempted to buy the product.
3.For your website, is there a correlation between the feedback for questions "How informative, visually appealing, and user–friendly is the website?"

Short Essay On Creepers
Creepers
The creeper is one of the most notorious and deadly mob in the game. It has explosion capabilities. If it senses there is just one block between you, it
will start a 1.5 second countdown then explode. Hitting it will move it far away from you and stops the countdown. In fact it starts cooling down. It
will take as much time to cool down as the amount of time it has counted down before explosion. Creepers will not explode when near a cat or an
ocelot, they'll run away. The best tactic to fight a creeper is by shooting three fully charged arrows from a distance. You could also shoot once or
twice then finish it off with a sword to save your arrows. While in water, creepers are generally less powerful. You can easily drown them by placing
two blocks of sand above it. When faced with multiple creepers fight them with an open door between you. As soon as you attack them, they start their
countdowns, quickly close the door. This removes you from their sight and hence the countdown aborts. Open the door and quickly attack them again.
However, if your reactions are not fast enough, they might explode. The most important tip when attacking creepers is distance and keeping out of sight.

result in your death. If you die, you spawn as normal at your default spawning point. The Ender Dragon will approach you when you are at the exit

A Summary On The Sunset Manicure
Kleancolor Metallics sunset manicure.
This is the sister manicure to my Kleancolor purple/ blue peacock. These metallic polishes, simply named 'Metallic Orange ' and 'Metallic Yellow ',
apply as smoothly and easily as the blue and purple. The consistency was the same, thick, but not too thick. These polishes are 2–coaters, but they go
on reasonably opaque with the first coat. Meaning if you 're short on time, you could get away with a few thick swipes. Here I used the same gradient
technique, applying one coat of the yellow polish and gradually blending yellow to orange. I sponged on a bit of Sally Hansen 's 'Copper Penny ' to the
tips to give the orange polish a bit of sparkle. You know I love to sparkle!
Gradient tutorial: For this tutorial I used colors that obviously don 't go together so that you can see how to make a seamless blend.
[use purple and green, one thick and dark, the other thinner and light.]
First step: After you apply your base coat, your first color coat should ordinarily be the lightest of the polishes you 've chosen for your gradient. I say
usually because there are plenty of times when you might want to use a darker base color and sponge a lighter color over it. Since this is a basic
tutorial, however, I 'll keep it simple.
[pic of nails with base color]
While you 're waiting for that coat of color to dry, I suggest applying a latex–type coating or a homemade glue mix to the skin around your nails. You
could use tape also.

Dinosaurs Extinction
Have you ever wondered "why" dinosaurs went extinct? Here is a theory of why the dinosaurs don't exist in today's world. A long time ago the only
thing that existed was animals called 'dinosaurs" they were the only living things on planet earth. These dinosaurs were unique because they could talk,
but nobody could understand them, it was like their secret "code" language. These dinosaurs lived a happy and healthy life until the small explosion
changed the life of these dinosaures. Just a few miles away from earth a fight started between two planets called 'Sun' and "Moon'. The argument was
about who would shine more light on earth. The argument went to the point where they started to shoot fireballs at the moon and then the moon
started to throw rocks at the sun. During the fight one the fireballs misses it's target (moon) and made its was towards the earth but "apparently" there
was space ship traveling the universe full of aliens and the fireball came in its path which made space ship crashed on Earth including the huge fireball.
The fireball was so powerful that it almost brought everything that came in its path such as rocks, asteroids and much more. When the spaceship
crashed on planet Earth, creating a loud bang, making the dinosaurs frighten in terror. Then the biggest problem in Earth's history step out of the
broken space ship. There were 5 weird aliens that step out of the space ship. They had very big heads that looked like blue almonds. When the aliens

Uses And Uses Of Photosynthesis
Introduction:
Photosynthesis is a process that plants use to create glucose by utilizing sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water. The pigments in a plant absorb light by
way of photosynthesis and each pigment can absorb different colors but will reflect green light because it does not really absorb it. Therefore, plants
always appear to have a green color. Plants have four pigments that were tested in this exercise called carotenoids such as carotenes/xanthophyll, also
pigments chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b. Chlorophyll a absorbs blue/violet light, chlorophyll b absorbs red/blue light, and carotene absorbs
blue–green/violet colors. Oxygen is after product of photosynthesis along with glucose which is used later in cellular respiration. ... Show more content

One table was used to describe how photosynthesis would occur with regular white light and one that was covered which measured the rate of cellular
respiration. The other table describes the rate of photosynthesis and gross photosynthesis of green/white light. The table for green/white light was
measured with accuracy with a volumeter tube. By analyzing the data, it can be confirmed that green light did not perform photosynthesis as fast as
white light and white light performed photosynthesis creating oxygen more rapidly than the tube that had no light.
Discussion:
The second hypothesis on the rate of photosynthesis (green/white light) was correct because the data in the table above states that the rate of
photosynthesis (which was measured in volumeters) was higher in the tube that was exposed to white light. The green light produced much slower
rate results for photosynthesis because the color was not really absorbed very well. Plants use all colors of light to use photosynthesis except for green
light. This means all wavelengths of light are used to make oxygen except for the green wavelength. One source of error in this experiment was the
results for photosynthesis with light. The foil kept

A Comparison Of Gold In Charlie And The Chocolate Factory
Colors can be interpreted differently in a variety of genres. The colors green and gold in Oz the Great and Powerful and Charlie and the Chocolate
Factory, suggest the mystery, wealth, and greed in each story. Oscar and Charlie journey through magical worlds in order to acquire knowledge about
the true meaning of values and ethics in life and where they can be found, a lesson that continues to speak today. The archetypal mystery in a quest
must have a defined set of events in a narrative. This standard quest involves the departure, which involves the character to have a certain goal set in
mind to accomplish, it also involves a return which is bringing back what they found and accomplished once they have fulfilled their journey. In Charlie

Understanding Elements Of Design Report By Monica Prakash...
Demonstrating understanding elements of design report by Monica Prakash91053 My previous experience I have been investigating print media
selections when advertising tourist attractions in the city of Auckland. I have created a design of a double sided, bi fold, 3 panel brochure. I have
learnt the elements and principles of design that are vital to this type of outcome. I have also learnt how to apply the elements of design which can be
applied to any digital outcome. Important Elements/Principles of Design There are a variety of elements to be considered while developing a print
media outcome. Colour is an important design element when used in print media because it creates visual interest towards the viewer. It determines
whether the brochure is noticeable enough. This comes into consideration which is used to determine the quality of a design within print media. Colour
can generate emotions as well as depict feeling. Alignment is also an important design element formerly used in print media because it creates a
distinct, more orderly design. When aligning elements this allows them to create a visual connection with either font text, images, or shapes. It tightens
up the design and eradicates the haphazard. This element prevents items of being randomly placed in a design. Alignment is one of the most basic and
important principles of design. It acknowledges us to create order and organisation in a design. Proximity is another important design

Difference Between The Shirt And Tie
Clark Duke says, "I am a big fan of matching outfits in general". Matching is so important because it can either make you the laughing stock, or make
you the best dressed gentleman in the room, not only looked as a well refined gentleman, but also gaining the 1st impression respect from everyone in
the room. To determining if Professor Jason Pitruzzello's tie matches his outfit there are 3 different aspects to pay close attention to; thecolor of his shirt
with the tie, the pattern of both the shirt and tie, and his overall outfit scheme. Knowing these three things will help determine if Professor Jason
Pitruzzello's tie matches with the rest of his outfit.
The first and most basic phase of determining if his tie matches, is the color ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This means that the primary colors of the shirt and tie form a triangle on the color wheel. So we can see, according to the color wheel, that the primary
colors match. In addition to the color wheel we can assess the color with our naked eyes. Overall, the shirt is a dark red color, and the tie fades from
dark to light back to the dark red. This is important because, according to TheDarkKnot.com, "A monochromatic color scheme involves choosing
variants of the same color." This is exactly what is happening with the shirt and tie combination. By using the color wheel along with the naked eye, we
can easily see that both methods show that the color combination of the tie and shirt match together.
The next aspect of determining if the tie matches is comparing the pattern of the shirt and tie. The shirt is plaid, more specifically, a vertically running
Tartan Plaid. In comparison, the tie has a diamond pattern all the way from top to bottom. The biggest piece to look at is the plaid pattern of the shirt.
The pattern of the tie should be obviously bigger than the pattern of the shirt. This is so the tie looks larger and can stand out so in rather than getting
lost in the pattern of the shirt. In this particular instance the tie does its job, having the bigger pattern than the shirt because of the large diamond
pattern of the tie with the plaid pattern of the shirt. Because of this relationship, the pattern of the tie matches well with the pattern shirt.

Framing The West By Rachel Stiff Essay
In the Winchester Cultural Center Gallery, Rachel Stiff 's artwork is displayed in an exhibit called: "Framing the West". As you walk through the
door, you would see Rachel 's drawings arranged in a row beginning from the wall nearest to the window, that expands to the center of the room,
and then ends with paintings closest to the door. You would also see the drawings presented in either a brown or white wooden frame. Whereas, the
paintings were presented in a gold frame or no frame at all. There are fourteen pieces of Rachel 's work being exposed to the public 's naked eye. She
presents her inspired paintings as well as drawings of the Las Vegas desert landscapes through abstract by using interlacing clouds, the sun 's rays,
rocks, and landforms. Although there were fourteen of her pieces to evaluate, I selected three pieces by Rachel Stiff that captured my attention the
most. Examining each artwork, Goner Г— 2, Gravel Pit No.3, and Gravel Pit No.5 captured my attention the most in result of the various elements used.
To begin, Goner Г— 2 is a frameless painting on white canvas that regards the multiple layers within Las Vegas. The primary colors red, blue, and
yellow are involved in the work of art. Secondary colors share an involvement as well. With that being said, subtractive colors are visible to one 's
eye. As you continue to examine the work, you 'll begin to notice the colors red, blue, yellow, brown, green, and black start to fade as it is being applied

Color And The Perception Of Color
Color and the Perception of Color
Cynthia Xu
Stoller Middle School
Perception. The ability to see, hear, or become aware of something through one of the five senses (Kandel, Schwartz, & Jessell, 2000). In other words, it
is the process of interpreting and organizing sensory information. Perception must be understood according to figure–ground, similarity, proximity,
continuity, and other organizing principles. At work in the interpretation of sensory stimuli are other perceptual phenomena such as perceptual
constancy, a phenomenon which occurs in the perception of size, shape, color, and brightness; depth perception, another phenomenon based on
binocular and monocular cues; and the perception of motion (Wood, 2008). One of the brain's primary functions is to obtain biologically important
information from the various sensory inputs. The brain of a human is provided with sufficient information about a variety of things such as light,
sound, the atmosphere's chemical composition, temperature, and things such as head orientation, limb position, the chemical composition of the
bloodstream, among other things. Specialized sensors project signals into the brain when they detect sensory modalities. Light–sensitive neurons in the
retina of the eye, vibration–sensitive neurons in the cochlea of the ear, along with the pressure–sensitive neurons in the skin are all specialized receptor
cells of which each sensory system begins with. The axons of the sensory receptor

Film Review : Hitchcock 's Vertigo
The 1958 Alfred Hitchcock movie Vertigo has a drastic change in the psyche of the main character John "Scottie" Ferguson. In this movie you can see
interesting changes in color throughout. The color ties into the psyche of the characters, creating a mentally stimulating motion picture. The color
changes that give way to more psychologically in depth readings of the film have caused the picture to sustain its top movie position over the decades.
In the beginning of the romantic thriller, Scottie has a traumatic experience that causes him to suffer from vertigo for the rest of the film that takes
place over a year. The more significant events that take place throughout the movie are filtered withcolor changes. This begins when Scottie has his
first dramatic experience. With every change, we see a specific color that indicates which characters and revelations the audience is supposed to
recognize and focus on. The movie Vertigo was released in 1958, an awkward point in the history of film. It was the transition period of complete
Technicolor in almost all movies and served as a buffer for special effects. Hitchcock used his eye and genius for special effects in all of his movies. In
this particular classic, he uses a green screen and complete camera filters to identify certain areas and ideas of the film. He associates colors especially
with characters. The character of Judy, also known as Madeline for the greater part of the movie, has green associated with her. In the

Summary Of ' A Dead Body Seems '
Chapter Twenty–One
The Answer Was Right under Our Noses
The answer came two days later, clearly stamped on Seth's pale face. "Twist found something."
"A dead body perhaps?" After solving the Sade Stone caper, a murder would put the Deadwood Detective Agency's name on everyone's lips.
"I'm not sure," he said.
"Oh."
"He wants us to meet him at Wallington Hall." He scraped back his lawn chair and jogged down the front porch steps. A minute later, he was headed
across the yard on his faded blue bicycle. I caught up with him just outside the gate. We coasted beneath clumsy clouds like white giants with colorless

"I need to measure the ghostnitric energy in the room." Seth pulled a small device about the size of a calculator from his hip pocket and pressed an
oversized black button. The thingamabob made a soft snick sound then flashed green.
"So the green light means that the ghost was a fake?" I guessed.
"No, no." He lifted his eyes from the contraption and gave me a worried look. "It was very real."
"Real?" Twist's eyebrows quivered.
"Come on." I grabbed his wrist and dragged him up the stairs. "You wanted to show us something, remember?"
"Oh, right," he groaned.
We tiptoed down the dark hall and intothe secret room. The casket was gone. Twist pointed to a trap door in the floor that we hadn't seen before.
Seth's eyes got wide. "Where did that come from?"
"It was here the entire time. We just didn't see it before because it was covered with a rug and dust." Twist yanked the cord. Thetrapdoor swung up, and
a wooden ladder clattered into place behind one of the walls. "Come on."
The steps trembled as we climbed down.
Seth reached the bottom and moved his flashlight around, a dim and shaky beam of yellow light against the darkened shaft. The tunnel was filled with

The Great Gatsby Film Analysis
There are many films that can impact adults lives, however, through the works of Baz Luhrmann in film, and F. Scott Fitzgerald's work in paper one
can argue that the film "The Great Gatsby" can have a great effect on the viewers. The 2013 film by Baz Luhrmann steps out of the typical
Hollywood regime through its colors, music and visual effects; this is done in order to perfectly convey the valuable lessons Fitzgerald brings. The
Loyola University Chicago Film Committee should most definitely add the film, "The Great Gatsby," by author F. Scott Fitzgerald and director Baz
Luhrmann in their top twenty films list. The film effectively shows to be useful for college students in a personal and academic form. The movie
proves to be one worth watching as it conveys a powerful message for college students, regarding the American dream through music choice; while also
useful as a teaching tool in teaching students color analysis through symbolism and plot development, which can be applied to their academic life. The
film is able to convey the message of the American Dream through its unconventional film technique of postmodern music. Music adds a subconscious
depth to the message the film is portraying, it can manipulate the audience's feeling and add connotation to events such as tension or make scenes more
memorable. Luhrmann challenges the typical form of conveying a message by carefully choosing modern contemporary music and combining it with
1920's Jazz. With music from artists such as Jay Z, Kanye West, Fergie and Lana del Rey. Luhrmann presents the message that the American Dream
can turn those in poverty to riches. The message conveyed by Fitzgerald is that you can rise from whatever beginning, or whatever background to have
it all–as long as you work hard. This dream is conveyed in the film during Nick's scene, where he is describing Manhattan, the stock markets and
everything regarding that has to do with being rich. While he describes this the song "Who gon stop me," by Kanye West, is played. This specific
sentence of the song is repetitive in order to show how the big city can bring in so much money and opportunities. The constant repetition of the lyrics
along with the visuals of wealth shown in the

An unidentified flying object, also known as a UFO, have been around since the early records of history. UFOs are typically associated with
extraterrestrial life or in some circumstances there has been some conspiracy theories that they are government related. UFOs have been used and
portrayed heavily in Hollywood films throughout the decades and in the media. Technically a UFO could be categorized as an unknown plane or
helicopter but when instead UFOs are brought up people think of a saucer like object shown in the picture. Since the birth of the UFO the media and
Hollywood have in a way blown the thoughts of UFOs out of proportion. The large majority of UFO sightings have been made from citizens and they

were just civilians and had no credibility. These sightings came from multiple people that hold a prestigious and well respected position. Reports
were made from on duty police officers that they spotted lights descending into the forests. Astronomers have said that these lights were a piece of
natural debris burning up as a fireball. The men on duty first thought that it was a downed aircraft and naturally went out to go check on it and see
what was happening. As they entered the forest to investigate, they claimed to have seen a glowing object, metallic in appearance with different
colored lights. As the men went closer to check it out, the object started to move through the trees, causing animals on nearby farms to panic and
freak out. A couple hours later, the local police were called out to the scene where the UFO was reported, the only lights that were seen by them came
from a local lighthouse a couple miles on the coast.

The Relationship Between Warm Colors and Positive Mood
This research is important because every day we have to make choices that include choosing a color when for example we decide what shade of
makeup to use, what color of clothes to buy or decide what color to paint a wall. Even it has been proved that people often associate their mood with a
specific color. Some frequently responses when a person is feeling sad is to describe it as "feeling blue" or when a person fall in love is common to
hear that now this person view the world through "rose–colored glasses." Other frequently expressions are to describe a person's jealousy as to be "green
with envy, "or describe a child's innocence as to "be pure as the snow". The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of color with mood using a ...

Author David Simmons studied color effects more generally in his book, Color and emotion: New directions in color studies. Simmons conducted a lot
of experiments trying to prove that color can enhance positive moods. In one of his experiments he asked 56 undergraduate psychology students to
paint a white wall with a color that made them to feel positive. The results indicated that yellow, orange and red were picked as the most positive color
of the 9 color samples in total.
Jacob and Suess (1975) disagree with the general theory that warm colors are more appealing and tend to enhance positive mood. They found that
participants shown a more positive mood towards cool colors rather than warm colors. In his article, Effects of four psychological primary colors on
anxiety state; Perceptual and motor skills, states that previous studies may have overlooked the effects of colors on standard pencil and paper
measures of anxiety. He investigated the effects of primary colors such as: red, yellow, blue and green and the level of anxiety of the participants. The
researcher administered the state scale of the State–Trait Anxiety Inventory to 40 participants. After reviewing the results he found that colors red and
yellow were associated with high levels of anxiety by the participants. On the other hand, color green was described as calming and associated with
low levels of anxiety by the participants.

The usage of colours black, white, brown, blue, green, yellow, and red, stand alone are to effective describe good or evil, yin or yang. The colours are

mark of Immortan Joe. The significance of the branding iron is linked with the feeling of a cage/imprisonment, a mark of enslavement/ownership.
This stance is more emphasised by the wives as they yell at nux that they are no more than breeders and battle fodder for an old man. Red is also
symbolized as light and warmth in regards to one of the wives, Capable. The colour blue is used to symbolize peace, healing, knowledge, life, quite,
grievance, and night. The first time the colour is used is in the form of "night" after the death of Angharad, the world is drenched in blue except for the
four wives, that are shown in colour with benefit of light. The colour is also shown translucently in water. The

Analysis Of Stanley Kubrick 's The And The Post...
Edited part 2
"The use of colour to express complexity of mind and to affirmatively counterpoint brutality also distinguishes the post–Strangelove films. As Sergei
Eisenstein (an early theoretical influence on Kubrick) predicted, colour in serious cinema would become integral to meaning. But unlike some of
Eisenstein's ideological descendants, Kubrick did not consider beauty to be a varnish for social injustice." (rice, pg2)
Stanley Kubrick began making films in the 1950s; his early films were in black and white since, at the time, color film stock was very expensive and
only used on big budget films with big stars. His first technicolor feature "Sparticus" (1960) was extensively storyboarded and was even put through
the same rigorous color tests that Walt Disney used for all his feature films since Kubrick was obsessive about color. Due to struggles with actor Kirk
Douglas, Kubrick refused to work with star actors which resulted in him not working in color for nearly eight years.
Black and White: The duality of Man.
In the context of Kubrick's films, the relationship between black and white takes on its own independent significance as an element of colour design.
Kubrick uses black and white as if the were on either end of the spectrum, polar opposites but made up of the same spectrum. This duality of colour
echoes the duality of man in Full Metal Jacket and 2001 and on a less obvious way his other films.
Kubrick returned to color film stock for his masterpiece

Area 51 is one of the most secret places concerning aliens and UFOs. Area 51 is located in the Nevada Desert. It is supposed to be a military base, but

in July of 1947. This event was so controversial because the Army Air force recovered a flat disc that was flying and crashed in Roswell, New
Mexico. A New Mexico congressman attempted to find the documents where this UFO was removed but it was unable to be found. This incident
wasn't even considered a UFO incident until the year 1978. The Army Air Force dismissed the evidence of it being related to a UFO by saying it
was a weather balloon. Some authors of books wrote that the debris was not from a weather balloon at all but from a UFO and bodies of aliens. The
claims of the UFO debris and bodies found on the site went on and everyone was saying that the army Air Force was covering the scene up. The
records showed nothing of a cover–up. After all the commotion down about the Roswell situation the Army Air Force got away with hiding

The Standard American Business Suit Essay
It's happened to all of us. You're standing in front of your closet, staring into the deep abyss of clothing in front of you. In a frantic search to find a
suitable outfit for the day, you shuffle through the myriad amounts of color options in front of you. Mystical teals, burnt oranges and chocolaty browns
fill your gaze. You just cannot seem to find anything that you would feel comfortable wearing for the day. In terms of style, color is the cornerstone.
Many, however, lack the ability to color coordinate. The color of what we wear can exude an impact much greater than we could even define. The
topic of the unspoken language of color will allow those who are less fashionable to gain an understanding of the silent essence their clothing gives
off. The unspoken social language of color is one that relays who we are. It can emit our emotions, our personality and allow us to relive eras of our
humanity. The standard American business suit is an example. Following a basic formula, it involves a grey suit, white shirt, deep toned tie, and white
pocket square with either black shoes. The dark tones are closely tied with authority and leadership. There are a handful of ways to play around with
this, but if you wish to convey the message that you're there for business, you'll stick to the basic formula. Substitute the white shirt out for light blue,
and suddenly the suit means something completely different. Drop the white pocket square for a green or orange, and the message

Rebelling Colors
Carlos Cruz–Diez, "Chroma" may be interpreted as breaching the routine pattern of hue in everyday scale.
Carlos works is based on his groundbreaking color theory and art philosophy. Most of his works consist of site–specific installations and new
innovations in the field of color theory and developing new color patterns and applying them to everyday space. His gallery pushes my attention
towards his experimental work and focuses on multidisciplinary nature of his practice.

After spending a little amount of time with the illustration, I understand that the third color was just an illusion. Which makes me think of the
process. Then I realized my phone, television, digital camera, etc. a great amount of color I perceive are not actually "present". What I see is a rich
and studied mixture of different primary light colors. The mix was made by the brain through my visual organs. This relates to the RGB system that
creates all perceptible colors from the mixture of red, green and blue. Human eye receptors are especially sensible to these three colors. Now the
RGB colors are provoking me to look into them in a much deeper sense and all his works have this strong representation of colors. These colors have
a strong impact on my emotions. Then to my surprise, I met with another piece of work from his gallery called Douches D'Induction Chromatique. It

How do Colors directly impact our feelings, mood, and decisions? This paper is a research paper that is supported by Metro State University's
electronic library, in how Color psychology and light therapy together can affect neurological functioning. It will inform the reader that colors and light
affect our subconscious responses that happen while being exposed to that color. How does the brain interact with light variance, is it the consequence
of perception or is it the interaction that is predetermined by normal neurological processes?
Picture yourself walking up to a building; there are green trees decorating the walkway. You reach the metallic silver doors. While looking up at the

In Grandview Boulevard, completed in 1974 CE, the artist utilizes painterly brushstrokes. The shadows of the trees that are painted dark purple
appear to have more painterly aspects than the rest of the composition. From far away, the painting seems smooth and sleek, but up close, the
individual thick brushstrokes can be seen. The implied texture of the leaves in the painting is sturdy and prickly, and the texture of the yellowed grass
appears to be dry and coarse, however, the actual texture of the painting itself is smooth. The artist also uses both curvilinear and geometric lines. In

The tree on the bottom right of the painting demonstrates modeling, which is the contrast between light and shadow in a work. The shading on the left
side of the tree is darker than the right side of the tree. The tree's local color (true color) is a light tan (bark of the tree) in comparison to its perceptual
color (implied), which is a darker gray/brown. The painting demonstrates diminution of scale, for the long palm trees at the top of the composition
appear smaller than the long palm trees placed lower on the page. Not only does the artist use diminution of scale, but they also use vertical
location. The bushier palm trees n the back left side of the composition all appear to be the same size, but because some are placed higher on the
page, they appear to be further away than the ones placed lower on the page. The artist use of overlapping helps achieve perception of depth. By
overlapping the trees it makes it look like the painting has much more depth. Because of all of this, the painting portrays deep depth, not only
because of the multiple overlapping and diminution of scale, but also because of the multiple horizon lines, causing the painting to look like the road
goes on over the hills. This painting is a narrative, and its focal point is down the road. As the roads begin large and gets smaller, the eyes follow the
road until it ends. The artist uses both thick and thin lines in

Lab Report : The Photosynthesis
Summary: The photosynthesis lab is comprised of three short experiments. These experiments showed how to understand and apply the absorbance
spectrum and which colors and wavelengths correspond to visible light. In order to fully understand this absorbance spectrum and how to apply it, we
initially prepared a substance comprised of acetone, a large spinach leaf and petroleum ether and measured its absorbance in the spectrophotometer.
This showed us what wavelengths corresponded to the most absorption of the spinach leaf. It is understood that the least amount of absorbance should
occur after 500 nm and the lower the number, the lower the absorbency. Thus, the 700 ranges is the very least amount of absorbency and the results
showed us that the lowest amount of absorbance was around 740nm, which is an accurate, representation of this solution. Next, to understand what
wavelengths of light drive the light reactions you can visibly see in photosynthesis, we used CMS in a variety of tubes and measured its absorbency
under white light, no light, and colored filters such as red and green. We then used the chlorophyll extract we originally prepared and painted this on a
chromatography strip. We measured the band distances to find out the number of pigments in the spinach leaf. These processes helped emphasize how
the chloroplast pigment extract and chloroplast membrane suspension have different functional capabilities and how photosynthesis works. Methods:

The Is Painted By Wolfgang Hutter
Rebusspiel is painted by Wolfgang Hutter. The painting was created in the year of 1961. The painting is currently being displayed at The Tampa
Museum of Art in the heart of Down Town Tampa. Rebusspiel is a German word; when translated to English, it is called the Rebus Game. According
to the Merriam–Webster dictionary, rebus is a riddle or puzzle made up of letters, pictures, or symbols whose names sound like the parts or syllables
of a word or phrase. Hutter used art elements to create a perplexed painting that has a vibrant surrounding while the center of focus seems to be in
distress. The artist, Wolfgang Hutter, was an Austrian fantastic realist painter. Hutter was born in 1928 and passed away at the age of 86 in 2014.
Hutter's artworks seemed to focus on botanical theme. His works "...explore themes of the fantastic and magic, featuring playful takes on subjects
such as gardens and dolls" (Neuendorf). Fantastic realism is magic realism, which offers a "...calm admiration of the magic of being, of the discovery
that things already have their own faces" (RГos). It helps to influence one's imagination. Rebusspiel is a two–dimensional art piece. It was painted with
oil paint on Masonite, which is a type of hardboard. The hardboard is made of wood fibers and glue being molded into flat boards (Body–Evans). Oil
paint provides artists a few advantages over the other types of paints. Oil paint offers a wide variety of colors; they can be thinned down to reduce the
opacity; and

Summary Of Dorothea Tanning's Painting Eine Kleine Nachtmusik
The composition I chose was Dorothea Tanning's painting Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. This painting depicts two girls alone in the hallway of a rundown
hotel, playing with the larger than life sunflower which lays in the middle of the hallway, reaching which the stairwell. What intrigued me first about
this painting was its use of color. The color scheme that Tanning employs is complimentary. As we know, a complementary color scheme means that
two colors that are directly across from each other on the color wheel are primarily used. In this case, the complementary colors represented in the
painting are red and green. Tanning shows a rich, blood–red color in the carpeting as well as on the shirt of the girl leaning against the frame of on of
the doors. Those deep reds complement the ivy green color of the hallway walls, the leaves on the large sunflower, and the vines from the flower as
well. Another aspect of color in the painting that pulled me in was the balance of color temperature that is featured. There are many warm colors
featured in this painting which makes the slight pop of cool colors stand out against each other. Of course, the warm colors Tanning uses in this
painting are the deep reds in the carpeting and shirt, the dark brown of the doors, and the wooden stair flooring that run down the hall, as well as the
eerie yellows featured in the sunflower and mysterious lighting leaking out into the hall from a slightly cracked door. Meanwhile, the warm colors are
met with the cool whites in the young girls' dresses and skirts. Plus, the frigid greens popping out from the walls along with the enormous vines and
leaves. The greens stand out against the sunny yellows in the flower and three petals that have fallen from the sunflower, coupled with the deep warm
reds that line the floor.
Additionally, Tanning uses value in this painting to take each component and make it more lifelike and visually appealing. This is especially notable
when looking at the sunflower and the girls. When focusing on the flower, the petals which stand the highest have a much brighter yellow to them when
compared to the lower petals. This is because the lower petals do not stand in the light, which causes them to appear darker in

Piet Mondrian 's Influence On Society
Piet Mondrian was born March 7, 1872, in Amsterfoot, Netherlands. His father, Headmaster of the town's Dutch Reformed elementary school, was a
devout Calvinist. Malevich's childhood was strict and based on the reformed Amsterfoot. In 1880, his family moved to Winterswijk, near the German
border.
In 1892, Mondrian registered at the National Academy of Art in Amsterdam. There he trained as a realist, concentrating on visual observation and with
a strict devotion to detail. Immediately, post university, he moved around the countryside of Amsterdam to paint landscapes. In 1911 Mondrian saw
the Cubist works of Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso. He subsequently moved to Paris and begins working in a manner that is inspired by the Cubists.

During this time he returned to working on landscapes based on the countryside. This time, he applied his new style of straight lines and curves, with
minimal color. Eventually, he moved on to clean lines and colors without any transition, independent from content. Once the war ended, Mondrian
immediately returned to Paris.
The painting, Composition: Checkerboard, Dark Colors, made in 1919, is made up of a rectangular canvas divided up by a grid of uniform
rectangles. These shapes have been filled in with three colors, a red, a purple, and a blue. These colors do not seem to be the traditional, colors straight
out of the tube. For example, the red is slightly orange and the purple leans more red than blue. The colors are also placed in a seemingly random
manner and each color is equally present.
Mondrian placed these colors only according to his own intuition. It is clear that he made some alterations in color and changes are detectable in the
rectangles that are filled with somewhat mixed or tinted variations of these colors. The equal amounts of color make it so there are no places to focus.
Instead the repeating randomness creates a sense of static and movement within the painting.
Unlike Still Life with Gingerpot II, the prewar example, Composition: Checkerboard, Dark Colors is not based on anything from the physical world.
Instead of representing something, Mondrian conceived an entirely original composition. He merely filled in this

Color Symbolism In The Great Gatsby
Many colors are represented and shown throughout the story The Great Gatsby. These color each represent small details and even big details. They
are shown as important details to the story and how they are portrayed by the reader. Each color is portrayed in a character, idea or even a event that
takes place. The color symbolism in The Great Gatsby is represented by the colors green, black, and purple. The color green represents one of the
colors in color symbolism of The Great Gatsby because its represents envy and also the light at the end of Daisy's dock. One quote from The Great
Gatsby about the light at the end of the dock "... fifty feet away a figure had emerged from the shadow of my neighbor's mansion...it was Mr.Gatsby
himself... for he gave a sudden intimation that he was content to be alone– he stretched out his arms toward the dark water in a curios way...a single
green light, that might have been at the end of a dock"(20–21). The quote shows that Gatsby wants whatever that green light at the end of Daisy's dock
is or what it represents. Another way green is shown is Gatsby's envy of Daisy the idea "The "Gatsby mansion" and all that comes with it are mere
symbolic devices meant to lure Daisy away from East Egg and back to a relationship that is psychologically situated in the Louisville landscape of
1917"(Beuka 13). It is clear that Gatsby wants Daisy and will try whatever to get her to come back to him. All in all green shows that Gatsby is
envy and how important the green light in what it represents. Another color that is represented is purple because it shows royalty and mysterious.
One way that shows Gatsby being mysterious is when "A culminating incident follows. When Gatsby shows a "white card from his wallet" to the
motorcycle policeman, who immediately apologizes for having stopped him, Nick asks, "'What was that? ... The picture of Oxford?'" (68). This is
definitely mysterious because Gatsby must have done a favor or helped out the police captain. Another example is when Gatsby is just hanging out
and the butler says "Philadelphia wants you on the 'phone sir,"(53). This is strange because he gets a phone call from a place and not a person with a
name. Those are just some of the examples

to northwest Virginia, and started to paint the landscapes and the different scenery around his house. In Costello art work you can tell that he is a
modern painter because he uses different shapes and bright colors to bring the viewers eyes directly to his paintings. The title of his show called
"Dynamics of Desire: The Evocative Works of Jim Costello" make it seem as if hispainting will have some type of sexual content (Jim Costello).
Although his painting displays naked women, he is trying to capture the spirt and energy that animates the Shenandoah Valley. This explains why
in many of his painting there is a naked woman and a landscape of the valley because he is trying to display mother nature in his work. He does not
finish his paintings in one setting, he does them over a period of years because his art work is in a very large scale. The painting, Blanton, was
finished in 1997 and it was a landscape of mountains and a lake. The colors in this painting are so vibrant, that the blues, greens, and the browns go
directly to the viewer's eyes. This artist has so many elements of art in this piece, with the lines and the texture on the water and the mountains. The

Dinosaurs Persuasive Essay
Have you ever wonder "why" dinosaurs went extinct? Here is a theory of why the dinosaurs don't exist in today's world. A long time ago the only
thing that existed was animals called 'dinosaurs" they were the only living things on planet earth. These dinosaurs were unique because they could talk
but nobody could understand them, it was like their secret "code" language. These dinosaurs lived a happy and healthy life until the small explosion
changed the life of these dinosaures. Just few miles away from earth a fight started between two planets called 'Sun' and "Moon'. The argument was
about who would shine more light on earth. The argument went to the point where they started to shoot fireballs at the moon and then the moon
started to throw rocks at the sun. During the fight one the fireballs misses it's target (moon) and made its was towards the earth but "apparently" there
was space ship traveling the universe full of aliens and the fireball came in its path which made space ship crashed on Earth including the huge
fireball. The fireball was so powerful that it almost brought everything that came in its path such as rocks, asteroids and much more. When the space
ship crashed on planet Earth creating a loud bang, making the dinosaurs frighten in terror. Then the biggest problem in Earth's history step out of the

The Starry Night
The Starry Night The starry night is painting by Vincent van Goh done in 1889. The painting is inspired by the night view. It is a painting that was
done by oil on canvas just as the way traditional paintings are done. However, the starry night was not painted at night as expected. It was done during
day using van Goh's imagination. According to van Goh, he always expressed his liking to draw a painting portraying the sky at night. Van Goh's
works on the starry night was inspired by the night skies and surroundings of the asylum where he was receiving treatment due to breakdowns
(Brooks, 2012). The title of the painting, '' the starry night'', goes hand in hand with what the painting tries to describe. The painting reflects
emotions and expressiveness. A group of curvy black lines that seem to originate from a point dominate the left side of the painting. There is a town
on the lower right that extends up to the hills. As the title goes, the painting is set at night. The sky has been done in a swirl that bursts out in to
blues, greens and gentle yellow. The center part of the painting is the moon which is shown by a yellow dot. The dark lines that stark up on the right
side tend to stand for a plant. The town is marked by small dots on the houses perhaps showing electricity lights or lamp lights sealing the fact that
painting setting is night time. The objective of the painter was to depict the night time in a small town. The painting has its kind of mystery because of

The Great Gatsby By F. Scott Fitzgerald
The Great Gatsby by F Scott Fitzgerald encounters challenges within different social classes, specifically amongst the rich and the poor. During the
early 1920's, a persons' social class would heavily impact how their daily lives were structured. In the novel, Gatsby's character originally comes
from a poor family, and he maneuvers his way up the social hierarchy in order to impress the girl of his dreams, Daisy Buchanan. Daisy on the other
hand, was born into a family of wealth, which is a result of her never having to work for her societal reputation. Daisy's attitude also reflects her social
status and this continues to unfold as her character develops. In The Great Gatsby, the motif of color reiterates itself on numerous occasions, ... Show

"You always have agreen light that burns all night at the end of your dock" (Fitzgerald 92). In this passage, Gatsby is talking to Daisy about her
house and how he can see it every night. This shows the reader that Gatsby pays very close attention to Daisy and he notices subtleties about her
life. The fact that Gatsby knows the light where Daisy lives burns all night means that he has stayed up at least once watching the light all night
long. Gatsby's persistence to win Daisy over is evident in this passage and he wants Daisy to see how much he desires her attention. This whole
image Gatsby has in his head of himself and Daisy is truly unrealistic especially because she is married and Gatsby knows that. Gatsby will wait up
all night long gazing at Daisy's dock light, yet she does not reciprocate the same intense emotions that Gatsby is pouring out to her. His unattainable
future remains, as he still attempts to win Daisy over, even though she is already married to someone else. Gatsby believes in this green light, in a
similar way that he believes in Daisy; that she will leave her husband in order to spend the rest of her days with Gatsby. The green light shines all
night and Daisy is present all day, this represents the amount of time Gatsby spends thinking about Daisy, which is all day and all night.

Comparing Plant Organs And Their Nutrients
Comparing Plant Organs and their Nutrients
Abstract: In this experiment, we wanted to determine the starch and glucose content of different plant parts including: fruits, stems, leaves, and roots.
To do this, we tested a food in each of these categories with Lugol's and Benedict's solutions after being heated in a hot water bath. The color of each
solution would then be compared to the Lugol's and benedict's indicators to determine how much starch and glucose is in each. We believed that fruits
would have the most starch and glucose out of the plant parts because of its role in plant reproduction (seed dispersal). Through the experiment, we
discovered that the fruit does have the most glucose, but the roots have the most starch. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In contrast, there is glucose that is considered a "simple sugar or a monosaccharide" due to its structure (Georgia State University). Most foods made
of glucose molecules are used as sources of energy for animals as ATP (Georgia State University). Both these sugars are in our diets, yet they are quiet
different in chemical structure and physical form. This is why a substance that contains starch, does not always contains glucose (Shorter KR). To test
for these two carbohydrates, two different tests were developed: Lugol's and Benedict's. Lugol's indicates whether or not a substance contains starch,
and if so, how much (Shorter KR). This is determined based on a color scale (5 different shades), from amber to a bluish black (Shorter KR). The
farther down the scale, the more starch the substance contains. Likewise, the Benedict's solution indicates the amount of starch as the 8–color shades
(light blue to dark green) progress (Shorter KR).
Hypothesis:
вћўIf Lugol's solution is used to test different types of plant parts, then there will be more starch in the fruits (reproductive parts) than stems, because
fruits are where seed dispersal is located which is a process that requires sugar.
вћўIf Benedict's solution was added to solutions of water and plant parts, then there would be more glucose found in the fruits rather than the stems
because of the function of the fruit during seed dispersal requires sugar which is glucose makes up.

"The number of UFO sighting around the base has created an aura of mystery around Area 51 and UFO buffs believe it holds secrets around
it."(Demand Media, Inc., Doug Desjardins, Area 51 Facts, Web.). Many people believe that Area 51 contains UFOs and aliens; it is one of the most

Capri Sun Ad Essay Example
Before I analyze my ad, let me give you a quick rundown. In the ad, there is an image of a girl aged 9–12 dancing with an older 50 or so woman. They
are supposedly grandma and granddaughter. The photo is candid and neither are looking into the camera. To the right is the following text, "Release
Your Inner Child With Capri Sun Organic." Below that the smaller text reads, "New Capri Sun Organic Healthier, Tastier, and Better Than Ever. Now
Containing One Serving of Fruit." This text is wrapped around a pouch of Capri Sun Organic. Below this, in the even smaller text, there is a
clarification that reads, "Each pouch provides ВЅ cup of fruit which is one serving of fruit according to the U.S. Dietary Guidelines." At the top of the...

Lastly, there's pathos. Pathos appeals to emotion. Most of this ad is in an attempt to create a certain mood. First of all, both the models in the ad are
happy supposedly because of Capri Sun Organic. Also, the slogan "Unleash Your Inner Child," is an illusion to happier and less stressful times when
all we were doing was having fun. All the allusions to health also make the consumer feel good about their choice to drink the product. Plus, if people
feel good about the product they're more likely to buy it. In short, everything in this ad is used to create an association between Capri Sun Organic and
health and happiness.
The first advertising technique use is transfer. Transfer is everywhere from the smiling faces of the models to the use of words like, "Organic,"
"Healthier," "Tastier," "Better," and "New." All these words have positive connotations and images associated with them, which helps give consumers
a positive outlook on the product. Another technique used is weasel words. "New Capri Sun Organic Healthier, Tastier, and Better Than Ever," is
misleading. For one it's subjective. While someone may think it's healthier or tastier, another person may disagree. Also, there is no proof that it is
actually tastier or healthier. Another technique used is facts and figures. Facts and figures can be seen in the 1 serving of

Research Paper On Why Dinosaurs Became Extinct

  • 1. Research Paper On Alien Abduction Some many people in the world believe either that aliens exist or not. They have a confusion if the stories that they hear are real and I am here to prove that they are. First of all, aliens are species that are foreigner and they are not a citizen of our country where we are living. There has been many stories about alien abductions, UFO sightings and many more. Many people believe that aliens are real, but other people who don't people believe in aliens think that they are fake and they don't exist anymore. I believe in aliens and all the UFO sightings that I have read about in an article. This is because I know people don't put random information on some type of alien abduction. I think people has actually seen something that is not seen ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Some example that UFOs are real is the recent UFO sightings from 1900's to 2016. . For example Disc UFO reported hovering over West Virginia bridge. This is a story about a witness who saw a disc–shaped UFO before it shot off into the sky. The witness says "I just pulled in to park so we could wait and before I could even put my car in park, I see an object in the sky," At first the witness thought that the object was someone who lived beside the river and they were shining a spotlight. The witness also stated this ""But it was just so spherical in shape and it was bright. This thing was just hovering right over the river moving from left to right slowly. I was left speechless watching." Later the object began to move and the object started to melt and in a blink of an eye the mysterious object disappeared. Another story is a witness that recounts an UFO encounter near military base. This is a story about a witness who seen a big piece of plastic or a parkette as the were heading toward the military base. She says that"the edges of the object were kind of fluttering around on the edges, but it can't be because it's standing about 20 feet high off the road.' It also had a white light that was either coming from behind or from inside of the object. I didn't see any direct light. It seemed to be all indirect." She also said this"When we reached a distance of about 100 yards, my friend slowed down and stopped the car. Just as we opened the doors, the object changed shape! It quickly changed into a cone shape. The white light brightened and then streaked straight up with a popping sound scattering dirt and rocks out from the area. The craft left our sight almost instantly and didn't return." This tells us from when the aliens and UFO are still real and happen in our ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 2. Marketing Website Feedback And How Does The Website Design... MARKETING WEBSITE FEEDBACK ANALYSIS Throughout your answers, you are required to refer to feedback data on the feedback data spreadsheet. This task is only using the feedback for the two questions that related to the website – not the expo. You are encouraged to discuss the feedback results in your group before writing this feedback analysis. Things to include when answering the questions: Purpose – What was the purpose of your website and how does the website design help meet this purpose? Audience – Referring back to your market research, who was your target market? Was part of your target market assessing your website? Context – As the website was assessed by people at the Expo, do you think this helped create a sense of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... We know the readers felt this because of the feedback they gave after viewing the website as well as in the grades they gave. This was mainly done through the websites colour scheme, short paragraphs and use of images. 2.Referencing one of the websites that you assessed at the expo, through the question "Based on the website alone, how likely are you to buy this product," what was it in that website that made you want to buy the product? Consider elements like colours, written language techniques, graphics. How did these elements work together to sell the product to you? One of the websites I assessed was called "clever hinge". This was a product that means you do not lose your Tupperware container lids. The website was really cleverly laid out, with a red colour scheme. This colour scheme really helped persuade me into wanting to buy their product. Not only was the colour scheme well thought out, the entire website was laid out in a way that was easy to navigate. Due to this it was very easy to work out where the information on their product was stored. This information in itself consisted of a few very well done images of their design as well as providing basic information on the product. It was for this reason I was tempted to buy the product.

  • 4. Short Essay On Creepers Creepers The creeper is one of the most notorious and deadly mob in the game. It has explosion capabilities. If it senses there is just one block between you, it will start a 1.5 second countdown then explode. Hitting it will move it far away from you and stops the countdown. In fact it starts cooling down. It will take as much time to cool down as the amount of time it has counted down before explosion. Creepers will not explode when near a cat or an ocelot, they'll run away. The best tactic to fight a creeper is by shooting three fully charged arrows from a distance. You could also shoot once or twice then finish it off with a sword to save your arrows. While in water, creepers are generally less powerful. You can easily drown them by placing two blocks of sand above it. When faced with multiple creepers fight them with an open door between you. As soon as you attack them, they start their countdowns, quickly close the door. This removes you from their sight and hence the countdown aborts. Open the door and quickly attack them again. However, if your reactions are not fast enough, they might explode. The most important tip when attacking creepers is distance and keeping out of sight. Spiders Spiders are ... Have a helmet or better still a pumpkin as it will stop them from attacking you if you look at them while wearing one. Have armor and an iron sword. Coming unprepared to The End, will likely result in your death. If you die, you spawn as normal at your default spawning point. The Ender Dragon will approach you when you are at the exit portal frame. It will fire acid at you and if you kill it, it will play a death animation and drop an exit portal. • 5. A Summary On The Sunset Manicure Kleancolor Metallics sunset manicure. This is the sister manicure to my Kleancolor purple/ blue peacock. These metallic polishes, simply named 'Metallic Orange ' and 'Metallic Yellow ', apply as smoothly and easily as the blue and purple. The consistency was the same, thick, but not too thick. These polishes are 2–coaters, but they go on reasonably opaque with the first coat. Meaning if you 're short on time, you could get away with a few thick swipes. Here I used the same gradient technique, applying one coat of the yellow polish and gradually blending yellow to orange. I sponged on a bit of Sally Hansen 's 'Copper Penny ' to the tips to give the orange polish a bit of sparkle. You know I love to sparkle! Gradient tutorial: For this tutorial I used colors that obviously don 't go together so that you can see how to make a seamless blend. • 6. Dinosaurs Extinction Have you ever wondered "why" dinosaurs went extinct? Here is a theory of why the dinosaurs don't exist in today's world. A long time ago the only thing that existed was animals called 'dinosaurs" they were the only living things on planet earth. These dinosaurs were unique because they could talk, but nobody could understand them, it was like their secret "code" language. These dinosaurs lived a happy and healthy life until the small explosion changed the life of these dinosaures. Just a few miles away from earth a fight started between two planets called 'Sun' and "Moon'. The argument was about who would shine more light on earth. The argument went to the point where they started to shoot fireballs at the moon and then the moon started to throw rocks at the sun. During the fight one the fireballs misses it's target (moon) and made its was towards the earth but "apparently" there was space ship traveling the universe full of aliens and the fireball came in its path which made space ship crashed on Earth including the huge fireball. The fireball was so powerful that it almost brought everything that came in its path such as rocks, asteroids and much more. When the spaceship crashed on planet Earth, creating a loud bang, making the dinosaurs frighten in terror. Then the biggest problem in Earth's history step out of the broken space ship. There were 5 weird aliens that step out of the space ship. They had very big heads that looked like blue almonds. When the aliens step out ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. Uses And Uses Of Photosynthesis Introduction: Photosynthesis is a process that plants use to create glucose by utilizing sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water. The pigments in a plant absorb light by way of photosynthesis and each pigment can absorb different colors but will reflect green light because it does not really absorb it. Therefore, plants always appear to have a green color. Plants have four pigments that were tested in this exercise called carotenoids such as carotenes/xanthophyll, also pigments chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b. Chlorophyll a absorbs blue/violet light, chlorophyll b absorbs red/blue light, and carotene absorbs blue–green/violet colors. Oxygen is after product of photosynthesis along with glucose which is used later in cellular respiration. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... One table was used to describe how photosynthesis would occur with regular white light and one that was covered which measured the rate of cellular respiration. The other table describes the rate of photosynthesis and gross photosynthesis of green/white light. The table for green/white light was measured with accuracy with a volumeter tube. By analyzing the data, it can be confirmed that green light did not perform photosynthesis as fast as white light and white light performed photosynthesis creating oxygen more rapidly than the tube that had no light. Discussion: The second hypothesis on the rate of photosynthesis (green/white light) was correct because the data in the table above states that the rate of photosynthesis (which was measured in volumeters) was higher in the tube that was exposed to white light. The green light produced much slower rate results for photosynthesis because the color was not really absorbed very well. Plants use all colors of light to use photosynthesis except for green light. This means all wavelengths of light are used to make oxygen except for the green wavelength. One source of error in this experiment was the results for photosynthesis with light. The foil kept ... I have created a design of a double sided, bi fold, 3 panel brochure. I have learnt the elements and principles of design that are vital to this type of outcome. I have also learnt how to apply the elements of design which can be applied to any digital outcome. Important Elements/Principles of Design There are a variety of elements to be considered while developing a print media outcome. Colour is an important design element when used in print media because it creates visual interest towards the viewer. It determines whether the brochure is noticeable enough. This comes into consideration which is used to determine the quality of a design within print media. Colour can generate emotions as well as depict feeling. Alignment is also an important design element formerly used in print media because it creates a distinct, more orderly design. When aligning elements this allows them to create a visual connection with either font text, images, or shapes. It tightens up the design and eradicates the haphazard. This element prevents items of being randomly placed in a design. Alignment is one of the most basic and important principles of design. Matching is so important because it can either make you the laughing stock, or make you the best dressed gentleman in the room, not only looked as a well refined gentleman, but also gaining the 1st impression respect from everyone in the room. To determining if Professor Jason Pitruzzello's tie matches his outfit there are 3 different aspects to pay close attention to; thecolor of his shirt with the tie, the pattern of both the shirt and tie, and his overall outfit scheme. Knowing these three things will help determine if Professor Jason Pitruzzello's tie matches with the rest of his outfit. The first and most basic phase of determining if his tie matches, is the color ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This means that the primary colors of the shirt and tie form a triangle on the color wheel. So we can see, according to the color wheel, that the primary colors match. In addition to the color wheel we can assess the color with our naked eyes. Overall, the shirt is a dark red color, and the tie fades from dark to light back to the dark red. This is important because, according to TheDarkKnot.com, "A monochromatic color scheme involves choosing variants of the same color." This is exactly what is happening with the shirt and tie combination. By using the color wheel along with the naked eye, we can easily see that both methods show that the color combination of the tie and shirt match together. The next aspect of determining if the tie matches is comparing the pattern of the shirt and tie. The shirt is plaid, more specifically, a vertically running Tartan Plaid. In comparison, the tie has a diamond pattern all the way from top to bottom. The biggest piece to look at is the plaid pattern of the shirt. The pattern of the tie should be obviously bigger than the pattern of the shirt. This is so the tie looks larger and can stand out so in rather than getting lost in the pattern of the shirt. In this particular instance the tie does its job, having the bigger pattern than the shirt because of the large diamond pattern of the tie with the plaid pattern of the shirt. Because of this relationship, the pattern of the tie matches well with the pattern shirt. The final ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 12. Color And The Perception Of Color Color and the Perception of Color Cynthia Xu Stoller Middle School Perception. The ability to see, hear, or become aware of something through one of the five senses (Kandel, Schwartz, & Jessell, 2000). In other words, it is the process of interpreting and organizing sensory information. Perception must be understood according to figure–ground, similarity, proximity, continuity, and other organizing principles. At work in the interpretation of sensory stimuli are other perceptual phenomena such as perceptual constancy, a phenomenon which occurs in the perception of size, shape, color, and brightness; depth perception, another phenomenon based on binocular and monocular cues; and the perception of motion (Wood, 2008). One of the brain's primary functions is to obtain biologically important information from the various sensory inputs. The brain of a human is provided with sufficient information about a variety of things such as light, sound, the atmosphere's chemical composition, temperature, and things such as head orientation, limb position, the chemical composition of the bloodstream, among other things. Specialized sensors project signals into the brain when they detect sensory modalities. Scott Fitzgerald's work in paper one can argue that the film "The Great Gatsby" can have a great effect on the viewers. The 2013 film by Baz Luhrmann steps out of the typical Hollywood regime through its colors, music and visual effects; this is done in order to perfectly convey the valuable lessons Fitzgerald brings. The Loyola University Chicago Film Committee should most definitely add the film, "The Great Gatsby," by author F. Scott Fitzgerald and director Baz Luhrmann in their top twenty films list. The film effectively shows to be useful for college students in a personal and academic form. The movie proves to be one worth watching as it conveys a powerful message for college students, regarding the American dream through music choice; while also useful as a teaching tool in teaching students color analysis through symbolism and plot development, which can be applied to their academic life. The film is able to convey the message of the American Dream through its unconventional film technique of postmodern music. Music adds a subconscious depth to the message the film is portraying, it can manipulate the audience's feeling and add connotation to events such as tension or make scenes more memorable. Luhrmann challenges the typical form of conveying a message by carefully choosing modern contemporary music and combining it with 1920's Jazz. With music from artists such as Jay Z, Kanye West, Fergie and Lana del Rey. Luhrmann presents the message that the American Dream can turn those in poverty to riches. The message conveyed by Fitzgerald is that you can rise from whatever beginning, or whatever background to have it all–as long as you work hard. This dream is conveyed in the film during Nick's scene, where he is describing Manhattan, the stock markets and everything regarding that has to do with being rich. While he describes this the song "Who gon stop me," by Kanye West, is played. The significance of the branding iron is linked with the feeling of a cage/imprisonment, a mark of enslavement/ownership. As Sergei Eisenstein (an early theoretical influence on Kubrick) predicted, colour in serious cinema would become integral to meaning. But unlike some of Eisenstein's ideological descendants, Kubrick did not consider beauty to be a varnish for social injustice." (rice, pg2) Stanley Kubrick began making films in the 1950s; his early films were in black and white since, at the time, color film stock was very expensive and only used on big budget films with big stars. His first technicolor feature "Sparticus" (1960) was extensively storyboarded and was even put through the same rigorous color tests that Walt Disney used for all his feature films since Kubrick was obsessive about color. • 26. How Do Colors Directly Impact Our Feelings, Mood, And... How do Colors directly impact our feelings, mood, and decisions? This paper is a research paper that is supported by Metro State University's electronic library, in how Color psychology and light therapy together can affect neurological functioning. It will inform the reader that colors and light affect our subconscious responses that happen while being exposed to that color. How does the brain interact with light variance, is it the consequence of perception or is it the interaction that is predetermined by normal neurological processes? Picture yourself walking up to a building; there are green trees decorating the walkway. You reach the metallic silver doors. While looking up at the sky, the snow white clouds slowly caress the deep blue sky. You pull the metallic door open, entering the building. As the mundane walls around you start to collapse your body goes cold and numb. Colors directly impact our feelings and mood, which further impacts our decisions. Cameron Forte in the Use of interior Color Palettes to Reflect Recovery and Practicality. Introduces how to use colors in buildings, for the benefit of not only the patron but also for the staff. He discuses what colors are best to encourage certain neurological responses. Colors can psychologically change the feeling in the room to be more welcoming and even to potentially benefit health. • 27. Art History Katie Tran Paper #1 In Grandview Boulevard, completed in 1974 CE, the artist utilizes painterly brushstrokes. The shadows of the trees that are painted dark purple appear to have more painterly aspects than the rest of the composition. From far away, the painting seems smooth and sleek, but up close, the individual thick brushstrokes can be seen. The implied texture of the leaves in the painting is sturdy and prickly, and the texture of the yellowed grass appears to be dry and coarse, however, the actual texture of the painting itself is smooth. The artist also uses both curvilinear and geometric lines. In looking at the trees in the painting, they are composed of primarily geometric lines (excluding the leafy top) that run in a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The tree on the bottom right of the painting demonstrates modeling, which is the contrast between light and shadow in a work. The shading on the left side of the tree is darker than the right side of the tree. The tree's local color (true color) is a light tan (bark of the tree) in comparison to its perceptual color (implied), which is a darker gray/brown. The painting demonstrates diminution of scale, for the long palm trees at the top of the composition appear smaller than the long palm trees placed lower on the page. Not only does the artist use diminution of scale, but they also use vertical location. The bushier palm trees n the back left side of the composition all appear to be the same size, but because some are placed higher on the page, they appear to be further away than the ones placed lower on the page. The artist use of overlapping helps achieve perception of depth. By overlapping the trees it makes it look like the painting has much more depth. Because of all of this, the painting portrays deep depth, not only because of the multiple overlapping and diminution of scale, but also because of the multiple horizon lines, causing the painting to look like the road goes on over the hills. This painting is a narrative, and its focal point is down the road. As the roads begin large and gets smaller, the eyes follow the road until it ends. The artist uses both thick and thin lines in ... • 28. Lab Report : The Photosynthesis Summary: The photosynthesis lab is comprised of three short experiments. These experiments showed how to understand and apply the absorbance spectrum and which colors and wavelengths correspond to visible light. In order to fully understand this absorbance spectrum and how to apply it, we initially prepared a substance comprised of acetone, a large spinach leaf and petroleum ether and measured its absorbance in the spectrophotometer. This showed us what wavelengths corresponded to the most absorption of the spinach leaf. It is understood that the least amount of absorbance should occur after 500 nm and the lower the number, the lower the absorbency. Thus, the 700 ranges is the very least amount of absorbency and the results showed us that the lowest amount of absorbance was around 740nm, which is an accurate, representation of this solution. Next, to understand what wavelengths of light drive the light reactions you can visibly see in photosynthesis, we used CMS in a variety of tubes and measured its absorbency under white light, no light, and colored filters such as red and green. We then used the chlorophyll extract we originally prepared and painted this on a chromatography strip. We measured the band distances to find out the number of pigments in the spinach leaf. These processes helped emphasize how the chloroplast pigment extract and chloroplast membrane suspension have different functional capabilities and how photosynthesis works. • 29. The Is Painted By Wolfgang Hutter Rebusspiel is painted by Wolfgang Hutter. The painting was created in the year of 1961. The painting is currently being displayed at The Tampa Museum of Art in the heart of Down Town Tampa. Rebusspiel is a German word; when translated to English, it is called the Rebus Game. According to the Merriam–Webster dictionary, rebus is a riddle or puzzle made up of letters, pictures, or symbols whose names sound like the parts or syllables of a word or phrase. Hutter used art elements to create a perplexed painting that has a vibrant surrounding while the center of focus seems to be in distress. The artist, Wolfgang Hutter, was an Austrian fantastic realist painter. Hutter was born in 1928 and passed away at the age of 86 in 2014. Hutter's artworks seemed to focus on botanical theme. His works "...explore themes of the fantastic and magic, featuring playful takes on subjects such as gardens and dolls" (Neuendorf). Fantastic realism is magic realism, which offers a "...calm admiration of the magic of being, of the discovery that things already have their own faces" (RГos). It helps to influence one's imagination. Rebusspiel is a two–dimensional art piece. It was painted with oil paint on Masonite, which is a type of hardboard. The hardboard is made of wood fibers and glue being molded into flat boards (Body–Evans). Oil paint provides artists a few advantages over the other types of paints. • 30. Summary Of Dorothea Tanning's Painting Eine Kleine Nachtmusik The composition I chose was Dorothea Tanning's painting Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. This painting depicts two girls alone in the hallway of a rundown hotel, playing with the larger than life sunflower which lays in the middle of the hallway, reaching which the stairwell. What intrigued me first about this painting was its use of color. The color scheme that Tanning employs is complimentary. As we know, a complementary color scheme means that two colors that are directly across from each other on the color wheel are primarily used. In this case, the complementary colors represented in the painting are red and green. Tanning shows a rich, blood–red color in the carpeting as well as on the shirt of the girl leaning against the frame of on of the doors. Those deep reds complement the ivy green color of the hallway walls, the leaves on the large sunflower, and the vines from the flower as well. Another aspect of color in the painting that pulled me in was the balance of color temperature that is featured. There are many warm colors featured in this painting which makes the slight pop of cool colors stand out against each other. Of course, the warm colors Tanning uses in this painting are the deep reds in the carpeting and shirt, the dark brown of the doors, and the wooden stair flooring that run down the hall, as well as the eerie yellows featured in the sunflower and mysterious lighting leaking out into the hall from a slightly cracked door. Meanwhile, the warm colors are met with the cool whites in the young girls' dresses and skirts. Plus, the frigid greens popping out from the walls along with the enormous vines and leaves. The greens stand out against the sunny yellows in the flower and three petals that have fallen from the sunflower, coupled with the deep warm reds that line the floor. Additionally, Tanning uses value in this painting to take each component and make it more lifelike and visually appealing. This is especially notable when looking at the sunflower and the girls. When focusing on the flower, the petals which stand the highest have a much brighter yellow to them when compared to the lower petals. This is because the lower petals do not stand in the light, which causes them to appear darker in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

His father, Headmaster of the town's Dutch Reformed elementary school, was a devout Calvinist. Malevich's childhood was strict and based on the reformed Amsterfoot. In 1880, his family moved to Winterswijk, near the German border. In 1892, Mondrian registered at the National Academy of Art in Amsterdam. There he trained as a realist, concentrating on visual observation and with a strict devotion to detail. Immediately, post university, he moved around the countryside of Amsterdam to paint landscapes. In 1911 Mondrian saw the Cubist works of Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso. He subsequently moved to Paris and begins working in a manner that is inspired by the Cubists. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... During this time he returned to working on landscapes based on the countryside. This time, he applied his new style of straight lines and curves, with minimal color. Eventually, he moved on to clean lines and colors without any transition, independent from content. Once the war ended, Mondrian immediately returned to Paris. The painting, Composition: Checkerboard, Dark Colors, made in 1919, is made up of a rectangular canvas divided up by a grid of uniform rectangles. These shapes have been filled in with three colors, a red, a purple, and a blue. These colors do not seem to be the traditional, colors straight out of the tube. For example, the red is slightly orange and the purple leans more red than blue. The colors are also placed in a seemingly random manner and each color is equally present. Mondrian placed these colors only according to his own intuition. It is clear that he made some alterations in color and changes are detectable in the rectangles that are filled with somewhat mixed or tinted variations of these colors. He merely filled in this ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 33. Color Symbolism In The Great Gatsby Many colors are represented and shown throughout the story The Great Gatsby. These color each represent small details and even big details. They are shown as important details to the story and how they are portrayed by the reader. Each color is portrayed in a character, idea or even a event that takes place. The color symbolism in The Great Gatsby is represented by the colors green, black, and purple. The color green represents one of the colors in color symbolism of The Great Gatsby because its represents envy and also the light at the end of Daisy's dock. One quote from The Great Gatsby about the light at the end of the dock "... fifty feet away a figure had emerged from the shadow of my neighbor's mansion...it was Mr.Gatsby himself... for he gave a sudden intimation that he was content to be alone– he stretched out his arms toward the dark water in a curios way...a single green light, that might have been at the end of a dock"(20–21). The quote shows that Gatsby wants whatever that green light at the end of Daisy's dock is or what it represents. Another way green is shown is Gatsby's envy of Daisy the idea "The "Gatsby mansion" and all that comes with it are mere symbolic devices meant to lure Daisy away from East Egg and back to a relationship that is psychologically situated in the Louisville landscape of 1917"(Beuka 13). It is clear that Gatsby wants Daisy and will try whatever to get her to come back to him. All in all green shows that Gatsby is envy and how important the green light in what it represents. Another color that is represented is purple because it shows royalty and mysterious. One way that shows Gatsby being mysterious is when "A culminating incident follows. When Gatsby shows a "white card from his wallet" to the motorcycle policeman, who immediately apologizes for having stopped him, Nick asks, "'What was that? ... The picture of Oxford?'" (68). This is definitely mysterious because Gatsby must have done a favor or helped out the police captain. Another example is when Gatsby is just hanging out and the butler says "Philadelphia wants you on the 'phone sir,"(53). This is strange because he gets a phone call from a place and not a person with a name. Those are just some of the examples ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The following years of teaching, Costello moved his family to northwest Virginia, and started to paint the landscapes and the different scenery around his house. In Costello art work you can tell that he is a modern painter because he uses different shapes and bright colors to bring the viewers eyes directly to his paintings. The title of his show called "Dynamics of Desire: The Evocative Works of Jim Costello" make it seem as if hispainting will have some type of sexual content (Jim Costello). Although his painting displays naked women, he is trying to capture the spirt and energy that animates the Shenandoah Valley. This explains why in many of his painting there is a naked woman and a landscape of the valley because he is trying to display mother nature in his work. He does not finish his paintings in one setting, he does them over a period of years because his art work is in a very large scale. The painting, Blanton, was finished in 1997 and it was a landscape of mountains and a lake. It is a painting that was done by oil on canvas just as the way traditional paintings are done. However, the starry night was not painted at night as expected. It was done during day using van Goh's imagination. According to van Goh, he always expressed his liking to draw a painting portraying the sky at night. Van Goh's works on the starry night was inspired by the night skies and surroundings of the asylum where he was receiving treatment due to breakdowns (Brooks, 2012). The title of the painting, '' the starry night'', goes hand in hand with what the painting tries to describe. The painting reflects emotions and expressiveness. A group of curvy black lines that seem to originate from a point dominate the left side of the painting. There is a town on the lower right that extends up to the hills. As the title goes, the painting is set at night. The sky has been done in a swirl that bursts out in to blues, greens and gentle yellow. The center part of the painting is the moon which is shown by a yellow dot. The dark lines that stark up on the right side tend to stand for a plant. The town is marked by small dots on the houses perhaps showing electricity lights or lamp lights sealing the fact that painting setting is night time. In the novel, Gatsby's character originally comes from a poor family, and he maneuvers his way up the social hierarchy in order to impress the girl of his dreams, Daisy Buchanan. Daisy on the other hand, was born into a family of wealth, which is a result of her never having to work for her societal reputation. In this passage, Gatsby is talking to Daisy about her house and how he can see it every night. The fact that Gatsby knows the light where Daisy lives burns all night means that he has stayed up at least once watching the light all night long. Gatsby's persistence to win Daisy over is evident in this passage and he wants Daisy to see how much he desires her attention. This whole image Gatsby has in his head of himself and Daisy is truly unrealistic especially because she is married and Gatsby knows that. • 39. Comparing Plant Organs And Their Nutrients Comparing Plant Organs and their Nutrients Abstract: In this experiment, we wanted to determine the starch and glucose content of different plant parts including: fruits, stems, leaves, and roots. To do this, we tested a food in each of these categories with Lugol's and Benedict's solutions after being heated in a hot water bath. The color of each solution would then be compared to the Lugol's and benedict's indicators to determine how much starch and glucose is in each. We believed that fruits would have the most starch and glucose out of the plant parts because of its role in plant reproduction (seed dispersal). Through the experiment, we discovered that the fruit does have the most glucose, but the roots have the most starch. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In contrast, there is glucose that is considered a "simple sugar or a monosaccharide" due to its structure (Georgia State University). Most foods made of glucose molecules are used as sources of energy for animals as ATP (Georgia State University). Both these sugars are in our diets, yet they are quiet different in chemical structure and physical form. This is why a substance that contains starch, does not always contains glucose (Shorter KR). To test for these two carbohydrates, two different tests were developed: Lugol's and Benedict's. Lugol's indicates whether or not a substance contains starch, and if so, how much (Shorter KR). This is determined based on a color scale (5 different shades), from amber to a bluish black (Shorter KR). The farther down the scale, the more starch the substance contains. Likewise, the Benedict's solution indicates the amount of starch as the 8–color shades (light blue to dark green) progress (Shorter KR). Hypothesis: вћўIf Lugol's solution is used to test different types of plant parts, then there will be more starch in the fruits (reproductive parts) than stems, because fruits are where seed dispersal is located which is a process that requires sugar. вћўIf Benedict's solution was added to solutions of water and plant parts, then there would be more glucose found in the fruits rather than the stems because of the function of the fruit during seed dispersal requires sugar which is glucose makes up. ...
