1. Skills Development:new editing skills learnt through post-production
Split Screen: I learnt how to split screen in final cut pro, by cropping the
picture and layering another one over it.
Green Screen: I not only learnt the ‘rules’ of using a green screen when
filming, I also learnt how to remove the green background in order to insert a
new one. This was a very important skill that I have developed, as the green
screen features heavily in our music video.
Photoshop: I learnt how to use photoshop for the first time, and how to create

2. the lettering for the opening of the video. I also used it for the colourful
backgrounds.
Base track editing: This was the key feature throughout post-production and I
have learnt how to lay clips as base tracks and cut between them to form the
cuts for the video.
Syncing Markers: In order to make the song sync with the clips, you need to
mark the song and video and line them up. This was a skill I learnt through
creating a music video.
Cutting On The Beat: I also learnt the significance of cutting to the beat and
how to do so.
