2. Audience Feedback
In order to gage how successful our film was we
screened our film to an audience and asked for their
feedback. We decided to show the rest of our media
class our film, in order to get some slightly more
tangible and technical feedback in terms of shot quality
and framing etc.
3. What we learned
We learned from this process that we had a few
changed to make before finalising our final music video.
Main feedback draw was from the re-using of a nature
shot of leaves, a lack of close-ups (a slight clarity of
narrative from this) and finally slightly off lip-syncing.
We then set about rectifying these problems.
4. Changes Made
We cut out some of the shot of the leaves and replaced
it with shots of our leads feet walking, in doing this we
have cut out the over-use of the shot whilst staying
central to our genre as he is walking on a leafy road-
still using the convention of urban contrasting nature.
We also then incorporated close-ups within our final
music video to help the narrative, which also then led
to less shots being re-used.
To try and off-set the slightly out of time lip-syncing, we
slowed the shot slightly using final cut, which enabled
the lip-syncing to be more in time.
