I feel this career would suite me very well, it
complements a lot of activities I enjoy.
4. Lodging Manager
Performing for people or dealing directly with the
public.
Communicating with people outside the
organization, representing the organization to
customers.
The growth is average with around 7%-13%
annually.
This career falls in the hospitality and tourism
aspect, and I enjoy working in that area.
5. Restaurant Cook
Providing information to supervisors, and
maintain all sue chiefs.
Involves physical movements, that use a
considerable amount of arm strength, as
well as whole body.
Inspecting equipment, and cooking food.
This career has an average growth.
I like the career, but I more so would do this
job just to gain a managerial position.
7. Correctional Officers and Jailers
Handling complaints, settling disputes, and
resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise
negotiating with others are just a few of the jobs
that a correctional officer must do.
They must attain peace, and be very organized
with a lot of paper work.
This job involves physical conflict, which I do like.
I like how they are able to detain people if need
be, and also must stay organized.
The job outlook is rather slow, but offers a good
outlook.
8. Forest Firefighter
A forest fire fighter is accountable for many
different jobs, putting out fires is just a fraction of
there time.
Running, maneuvering, navigating, driving
vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as
forklifts, passenger vehicles, aircraft, or water craft
also fall into there niche.
I would enjoy this job because it offers a lot of
outside work, and I don’t want to be stuck inside
doing paperwork.
This job has a good outlook, and has an average
growth of 7% a year.
9. Hazardous Materials Removal
Workers
Identify, remove, pack, transport, or dispose of
hazardous materials.
You must be able to have a good understanding of
chemical wastes, and there potentially lethal
properties.
This job can be very risky at time, and I like being
able to work under pressure, as well as put my life
on the line.
This job has a very fast growth of 20% a year
which makes it a good field to get into.
