Powerpoint Presentation -
Standard/default
Powerpoint 97-2003 – if you are
sending to someone with older
version of Powerpoint, or if using on
PC that has only older version.
PDF – an easily printable version of
your Powerpoint, useful if sending to
someone to show them the content of
your Powerpoint.
5. More Save Options
Powerpoint Show – the show starts immediately, no
sign of the Powerpoint layout – students can’t see your
slides on left panel. Handy for sending to people if
you’d rather the presentation wasn’t changed. If you
need to change it yourself go back to presentation
mode and when finished making changes save it, and
then save it as new show. Thus you could have different
versions based on one Powerpoint.
6. Save Options
Windows Media Video – convert your
Powerpoint into a mini-video, so that it
plays on its own – might be useful for
open night/revision, something you
might leave for sub teacher?
7. Save Options
JPEG: Saves your presentation as
a series of images. Useful if e.g.
you wanted to send someone one
or more of your slides, but not the
whole presentation.
