Under Section 3 of the Environment Protection Act, the Haryana
Government decision in 2013 to impose a blanket ban on the usage
and manufacturing of plastic carry-bags has hit the manufacturers of

"We have seen around 20 percent rise in our business in the city.
And, if the ban on polythene is properly implemented our
business is set to grow 100 percent,"
