INTRODUCTION
Educational technology is the
effective use of technological tools in learning. As a
concept, it concerns an array of tools, such as media,
machines and networking hardware, as well as
considering underlying theoretical perspective for their
effective application. Literacy in information and
communication technologies is fundamental to life in our
modern technological society. To equip students to be
literate lifelong learners and global citizens of the 21st
century. We must successfully integrate ICT into both the
english curriculum and english pedagogical practice. ICT
is a valuable tool to enhance teaching and learning. For

FILM ADAPTATIONS OF LITERARY TEXTS
Works of literature have been adapted for film
from the dawn of the industry. Some of the earliest

ICT allow for a higher quality

new technologies encourage independent and active
learning and student responsibility for their own
learning. ICT proves that students who used educational
technology felt more successful in school, they are more

confidence and self esteem. It is also confirmed that

setting more stimulating and much better than in a
traditional classroom environment.
