Essay On Tn Ready
State Should Replace TN Ready In recent years the state of Tennessee has experienced many problems with their new standardized testing called TN
Ready. The new TN Ready standardized testing is unbeneficial to students and teachers. In the best interest of students and teachers the state should
abolish TN Ready, and replace with the ACT Aspire and the ACT. Ever since the fall of 2015, when TN Ready began the state has experienced many
problems, some of which still exist two years later. The original plan was to have students test online from the get go, but that was halted when the
system students were using crashed. After the computer system crashed the state then decided to test on paper, which the vendor could ... Show more

Bottom line is the state should not have begun a new way of testing student and teacher performance until they were certain that teachers and
students would experience no problems during testing. Since a new test in and of itself is hard enough for teachers and students to learn how to
do, the transition from TCAP to TN Ready should have been smooth from the get go, but it was not. The state should abolish TN Ready and move
to the ACT Aspire for grades three through ten and the ACT for grade eleven. Using the ACT Aspire and the ACT can serve many purpose. The
first and perhaps the biggest benefit of using the ACT Aspire and the ACT is that it can show not only how well students are performing state wide
but also how well they are performing nationally. There is also more practice resources out for ACT whereas there is hardly any for educators or
students to use for TN Ready. Finally using the ACT Aspire and the ACT would better prepare students for college admissions, because teachers
would be able to focus instruction solely on an exam that is comparable to that of the ACT. Using the ACT Aspire and the ACT is a win
– win situation
for everyone.
Those opposed to using the ACT Aspire or the ACT would argue that it does not use some free response questions like that of TN Ready, and that it
does not

I Ready For A Leader
Am I ready to be a Leader?
To me this topic is like double edge sword because I am currently in a couple of leadership roles. My hope would be that, yes, I am ready. What I have
learned in my different roles and what the articles describe; there are different categories related to leadership. There are managers and there are leaders.
There are different positions that are just managerial, some that require you to be a manager and a leader and some that are only leader positions. I
think the higher up the ladder in a company or corporation you go the more likely you are to be in the leader role. I think front line or middle
management positions are usually a manager/leader combination.
I feel that my skills are stronger in management and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A leader is able to adapt and embrace change. They walk the talk, they have a vision that others want to help achieve. Individuals have the desire to be
better when they work with a good leader.
I believe that leadership is different depending on what the situation is. Being in a leadership position with my church and on a community council
means I work with an organizations of "volunteers". Everyone is usually willing to perform different duties or assignments, but if they don't take it
seriously and they lack commitment, you can't do a disciplinary action or fire them. You have to be ready to pick up any slack and complete the
assignments. It is still important to have a vision and lead you team to achieve what that vision is. You need to utilize the strength of each member and
to become a strong team.
As leader in a work environment you have the responsibility to make sure that all employees are meeting or exceeding their job requirements. You
should be developing and helping each employee to grow, advance and feel valued. You have actions plans to help improve performance and hold them
accountable for their actions.
As a leader for a financial institution; we've had a couple of guest speakers that talked about emotional intelligence so I really appreciated the article
and the importance that it put on those components. For me it was very helpful as I thought about "Am I ready to be a Leader" to do a self–evaluation
using these five areas.

Reflection Paper On Sectionals
Swimming Sectionals
Sectionals, a very prestigious swim meet that is hard to swim in. This swim meet takes a whole season to get ready for and you have to meet
standards for. For this meet you have to have very fast times and it has very fast swimmers. When I set goals that season this was one of them.
Through the months, prior to this swim meet, I had to train for it get times and work hard. It would take a lot of commitment, sweat, and get the
times to be able to smell the chlorine of that pool in Greensboro in March. The three things I am going to tell you about is how I got there, what
happened when I did get there, and finals after. I was trying to get to sectionals and that was a big goal. After setting my goals I had to prepare to
practice to get to sectionals. Everyday my team Carolina Aquatic Team has practice, so I had to go every day if I wanted to achieve my goal.
Somedays I got tired of it and did not want to go. But then I thought about what I had done this for and kept pushing. During the months leading up
to this swim meet I kept trying even with school and keeping good grades. There were 8 meets during the season and I came closer to the Sectional
cuts every meet. While some meets would go better than others I knew I would get the times if I kept trying. After some time I finally got my
Sectional cuts, and I got nine of them. By March, I was ready for Sectionals and all the fast swimmers to come.
The weeks leading up to the meet, the people who were going to Sectionals on my team had taper practices which means it is easier to rest for the
swim meet. On the day of the meet my Mother, my Brother, and I drove to Greensboro for the swim meet because he had made it too. On the first
day were all the long events like 500 freestyle and 400 IM so that was going to be the toughest. As I walked into the arena that day I could feel the
tension like it was tingling on my skin and it was kind of nerve wracking. After my first event my nerves had calmed down since all my friends
were there and I was ready. Once the first day was done, I had realized what it was all about and was ready to take on my other events. On Saturday,
were my better events and I was trying to do well on them and place higher.

Cheer Competition Research Paper
A hush fell over the crowd and all eyes were on me. At that point there was no room for error, it was all or nothing. I was ready, I took a breath and
went for it, unfortunately five seconds later I had met my match, the ground. I must admit I am not the most coordinated, but do not fret because
occurrences such as these happen all the time: track meets, cheer competitions, flat ground. I have a lot of experience with track meets and cheer
competitions, and over the years I have noticed an absurd amount of differences and similarities, the most greatest similarity being; if you put in the
work, success will follow. I work to be the best all season by running, eating healthy, and pushing myself. Pushing myself towards first place to be
exact. I train all season to go to that final competition or final meet to seize the trophy, and take home the title. Now whether or not that actually
happens is a whole other story. To give a little background, in both competitions you compete with a team. You practice with a team, you travel with a
team, and you finish as a team. Teamwork will help carry you across the finish line or propel you into the lead. In a cheer competition you ... Show

I am also good friends with the hot turf, the hard mats in the gym, and the top side of a hurdle. I have fallen more times than I count in these two
sports. My coach used to tell me if you do not fall every two weeks you are not trying your best. I think that was my greatest accomplishment all
season. In cheer, falling is normally because someone decided to not catch you or at least in my case that is what it meant, but for track it meant I
was not successful in pulling my leg fully over a hurdle, which would result in a nasty battle with the hurdle of which I did not win. Even with falling
in both competitions you can still come out on top. You just need to get back up and finish what you started. And on many occasions I have done just

Ready-to-Eat Breakfast
R–T–E Cereal Breakfast Industry
Name: Andres Gil
Competitive Analysis and Strategy
The ready to eat (RTE) cereal industry has grown steadily, with a compounded annual volume rate of three percent between 1950 and 1993. It success
during the 20th century had been driven by the surge of consumer's interest in healthy and dietary food. After World War II there was an increase
demand for vitamin fortification products. During the 50's, pre–sweetening gained popularity among Americans and in the 70's and through the 80's
consumer's preferences turned to granola and natural cereals. Ready–to–eat breakfast cereals have become the best option for a healthy and nutritional
breakfast mainly due to the market's perception that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The more new entrants that enter the market, the more saturated and fragmented it becomes for everyone. Brand name recognition plays a role in the
RTE cereal industry. A company with a strong brand name such as Kellogg can sometimes retain a customer even if its prices are higher than
competitors.
Power of suppliers:
There are many suppliers in this industry due to the simplicity of the materials, basic food ingredients, needed to manufacture these products.
Subsequently, supplier's cost remains relatively low compared to other industries.
Power of buyers:
Given the number of products available, the bargaining power of customers in this industry is very high. The two main drivers for customer's
preferences are quality and price, there is no service involved.
Threat of substitutes:
This category is very high in the RTE cereal industry. RTE cereals compete with every single breakfast buyer option that is out in the market. For
instance, a person might choose to eat an egg sandwich or fruits or pancakes rather than cereals. Through high advertising costs, RTE cereal companies
create brand awareness among consumers by presenting their products as the healthier breakfast option and therefore remain competitive.
Competitive rivalry:
This industry had been heavily concentrated by the big three companies during the last 90

According to Chavous (2006), "Donald was a smart boy with potential, he graduated from high school with honors and had ambitions to succeed, but

him in the right direction. However because of this, Donald went off into the military and he did not get the opportunity to enroll in college and

Personal Narrative Experience : An Example Of A Personal...
Success
We've all been successful at something one time or another. I know I've had a couple of successful moments myself. So here's a little bit about one of
those times.
In March of 2016, I was sent away to JDC in Lincoln for my behavior here in school. I was held in JDC for 3 weeks. While I was there, I had an
interview over the phone from ABH (Addiction Behavioral Health) in Omaha. My court date was bumped up a week early and I was accepted into
ABH. After I went to court in Beatrice, I was able to go home, take a nice long, hot shower, get dressed and pack my bag for my new journey.
When I first got there, I had to do the paperwork with my grandparents, take a shower with a special kind of soap, I had to make the bed that was
assigned. After I got my bed made I fell asleep.
The next day and for about 2 weeks after that I stayed at ABH all day and just messed around because I was waiting to get enrolled in school. I played
games and watched movies for two weeks straight, except when the other kids got back from school we went to treatment work and treatment groups.
ABH was for kids with behavior problems or addiction problems or could be a combination of both. For me it was a combination of both. Because I
was addicted to drugs and had some behavioral issues and problems with my family that I needed to work on. So I was a perfect fit and was accepted.
Everyday we did treatment work and treatment groups and if you didn't have 21 hours by the weekend, you didn't get to go out or go on your pass. I
loved to go home on the weekends, so I worked on treatment work non–stop. The more treatment papers and work I got done, the less I had to worry
about it later on.
Some challenges I faced at ABH were the kids and some staff that I didn't get along with. I had a real problem with one staff member, and he didn't
like me either. We would clash heads anytime he would try and talk or correct me. There were things he wasn't included in or that didn't involve me,
but he would somehow try and get me involved or included in trouble. In other words, he tried to bring me down as much as possible.
There were a couple kids there that I let get to me. They always talked down or made fun of me. They knew it

Branding And Marketing Of Mdl For The Twin Cities Market...
Branding and Marketing of MDL for the Twin Cities Market Although they may seem one in the same, we want to explain and differentiate the terms
Branding and Marketing. Although they are closely related and should actively complement each other for a successful business strategy, they should
have separate and individualized goals and budgets. Branding – a long–term process by which we will create and manufacture the presence of MDL
through consistent visibility, creating simple, yet powerful, to the point messages which boost the awareness of MDL, along the lines of "Have You
Been To?" Branding is built by presenting repetitive and cohesive messages, increasing the familiarity of the name, its purpose and vision to build a
reputation and ultimately an experience. Brand isn't traceable, but is the tool that makes the marketing successful. Marketing – is an immediate action,
which puts consumers in the midst of the daily, monthly, seasonal, and special event specifics and ongoings at MDL. BRANDING– increasing
awareness of MDL
Thus far, our branding campaign has been limited primarily to the following:
1. Six billboards on Northbound 35
2. Face to face
3. MDL brochure displays we have instituted with ski, bike, archery, and disc golf shops throughout the metro area, further motivated by trade
incentives for employees of the above mentioned businesses. Secondary elements in our branding campaign:

In order to be successful in resolving this software crisis at Hybara Casinos, I've identified the following issues and needs in order to restore their
Driscoll Software system. Hybara Casinos was a previous client who left Driscoll and installed a cheaper software system that constantly crashes
and is losing revenue (Green). Tim O'Connell who is my boss and unit head has agreed to restore their previous system at Driscoll Software with
hopes to win this client back. The main issue I'm encountering is a two week turnaround timeframe that usually would take at least six weeks to

consultants such as Alessandra that will fly to Spain during the Christmas holidays if needed to secure this account.
I met with my team, explained the current situation of Hybara Casinos coming back to Driscoll and deadline of this install by the end of the year,
which is two weeks away. I listened to my teams concerns, constraints and previous approved holiday plans but I explained to them how important

No team. No coach. No chance. That was what everyone had thought of us at the beginning of the season. We were the associations charity project
that they had no reason to care for. We started off what would become the greatest season of our lives with eight girls. Soon after we merged with
Moundsview who was in the same situation as us. From there on we traveled the state for both practices and games. Every night we were either just
down the street on our home ice at Tartan or all the way in Shoreview or Blaine practicing in Mounds View's rink. Not only did we have to travel to

us. "Alright girls, this is it. This is what we've been working for the whole season, give it everything you've got and leave it all out on the ice," Coach
Erin lights a flame under us and we are ready to go, we are ready to play. I skate to center ice and look up at the bleachers, I see herds of people
wearing red and white, holding up pom poms, and home made signs. Our fans are fired up and ready to watch us play. I look over and see my mom
looking right at me, our eyes lock and she nods and gives me the thumbs up, I am ready to go. We line up at the center dot for the first puck drop. I
am in my position, standing right across from my opponent waiting for the whistle. The referee drops the puck signaling the beginning to the greatest
game of my life.
The game begins and we are buzzing. We are winning every race to the puck and every battle in the corner, the puck is in their zone for majority of
the game and we are outshooting them like crazy. We start to break out of our own zone and take off down the ice, the defense pass it to Sav, she

Assessing the Value and Impact of Cpoe Essay
Abstract
There are some assumptions made by university health care system in its implementation that the common advantages of using a computerized
system would obviously work to their own advantage. Users of the system make a great impact to the existence of the same. It is imperative to
consider old data that is supposed to be fed to the system in order to make it efficient while updating the rest of information. Self evaluation process is
recommendable to the system by the Information Technology experts. The human interface of the system should be included by the evaluation team.

Any entrepreneur understands that business is just a matter of taking chances. Anything can happen at any time. When this disappointment happens,
the leadership should have sat down to evaluate and discuss the options available to them. They should have counted their opportunity cost. If they
would have done this efficiently, then it would have been planned to see that several other options were available to them. Instead of pulling out, they
should have looked for other implementation methods available. They should have also invested in security software that would ensure customer
information safety.
For the evaluation process, I would have several people from the IT crew to the customer. As the IT team continues to develop the system, I would
recommend them to install a self evaluation module. This module will have several features like calculation the amount of time taken to process a

calculations, an average will be obtained. This average will be compared to the old time when the manual system was

Descriptive Essay On A Game At A Volleyball Game
Michigan Tech Volleyball Game
The ball whipped through the air, echoing through the gym like the snap from a leather whip. Lauren, our libero, had served. I glanced at the flashing
scoreboard and winced at the score: 21–23. The other team had received the ball and were ready to set their outside hitter. Their hitter made a lightning
fast approach and the ball spun through the air over to our side, aimed right at me.
This was my first volleyball camp at Michigan Tech University this summer and I was ready. Coaches sorted us into teams, taught us some intermediate
skills revolving around the technique of the game, and scrimmaging from time to time. My team leader was Ali Gerring, a recent graduate from
Kingsford. We did bump–set–spike drills and six different rotations to get ready for our big scrimmage the next day. You could see the sweat
glistening on our faces, and smell the hard determination to improve. You could hear players call for the ball at every court yelling, "Mine, mine mine!"
At every practice there were different stations specializing in hitting (spiking), digging (bumping), and setting. We peppered with partners at some
stations and practiced serving at others. Our forearms were turning scarlet from digging so many balls and our necks started to ache after craning our
necks so many times setting the ball. We had to pick which position we wanted to play in the game and I picked outside hitter (player that spikes)
because I wanted to be the one that would

to feel the thrill again. The first time I ever experienced the ocean was on a trip to Florida in 2009. It was during the New Jersey Teacher's

arms, chest, and knees suffered the same fate from sliding into the shell – covered shore. It was well worth the pain, however. My dad continued to give

I awoke on Friday morning to the smell of crispy bacon and hot eggs, my usual pre–tournament breakfast. I bolted out of bed to get to the kitchen. I

Reflective Essay On Internship
Throughout the course of my internship at Primerica, I met a lot of people and learn great things. When I just started, I was uncertain if the
internship was right for me. The company primary focus is life insurance, which I had little knowledge in. It also requires persistence and effective
communication in order to build and work in a team and find clients to do business with. I was confident in my persistency, but not in
communication. However, my team reassured me that as long as I have the will to learn and be coachable, everything will be fine. I believed in
them and used it as a motivation to push myself out of my comfort zone to achieve my goals. As I learned more about the company and what they
do, I became more excited to be a part of it and was eager to start going into the field to help others. While I was studying for my life insurance
license, I realized that it was not as hard as I thought it would be. I was able to receive my license on my first try and started going on training

The Misdeed That Lead to Doom It started as a typical day at Elwood elementary with all the children outside to play a rapid game of tag before the

Both girls sprinted to obtain seats, since the majority of the class never figured out a specific arrangement to sit. To prevent another day of arguments

Descriptive Essay About Basketball
ACL Surgery
It was the first home volleyball game of my sophomore year in high school. There was a bit more excitement in our school due to the fact we were
playing against our rival, Garden City High School. Garden City was the team to beat in our district because they were phenomenal at all sports,
especially volleyball. I was required to attend school that day and I couldn't concentrate on any of any classes because I was thinking of the game.
School slowly dragged on and finally the final bell rang, signaling school was dismissed. Immediately, I rushed to the locker room and changed into
my volleyball uniform and shoes. I could already feel the nervousness and excitement racing through my body and while looking around, I could tell
my teammates felt the same. Payne, my coach, a short, very enthusiastic woman gestured for everyone to come in a circle. "It's a first home volleyball
game and it's against Garden City. I expect nothing more than for everyone to play their hearts out and for me that is better than winning" Payne
exclaimed.
Cheers rang across the circle, it's time to play some volleyball we were all thinking. All these practices and early morning conditions were all for
this moment. Slowly, we clapped our hands and joined in to say a prayer. A loud buzzer rang, signaling the game would be starting in a few
minutes and we hurriedly rushed out towards the gym. The referee blew the whistle signaling for the coaches to pick their starting six players for
the game and finally, the game began. "Four, Four!" I yelled to my setter on the outside left and she quickly nodded her head as she was about to
set the ball to me. As I started my approach, I raised my left arm and my right arm was bent at an angle besides my ear. I waited for the ball to be at
a perfect height and with my right palm spread wide, I hit the ball as hard as I could muster. The ball went straight down to the other team's side,
but it went out of bounds, meaning it was outside the playing area. As I came down, my right leg twisted inwards causing my body to shift its
weight towards my left leg. I landed only on my left leg, causing me to lose my balance and I felt myself falling, and because of the tremendous force,
I heard a loud

Ready For High School
Arriving at high school was a new and scary experience for me as it is for most kids. Some of the kids looked older than my parents. I felt I was in
over my head. I was nervous. If you have these feelings like I did don't worry because it's perfectly normal and there are things you can do to feel
more comfortable when beginning your high school career. The main thing that makes kids coming into high school get nervous about is that they
think the classes will be too hard or that they're not prepared enough. In order to ease some of these worries, I'll give you some useful tips to make
sure you're ready for high school. Studying before big exams or even small quizzes is a great way to get rid of anxiousness. One thing you can do if
you're nervous about a test would be to write down the things that are worrying ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When picking out a backpack for the school year you should pick something that's going to be durable and last you the whole year. Your first
priority when picking out a backpack should be durability and style should come second. The most important thing you should have in your
backpack would be a 2 pencils and 2 pens. Also, depending on your classes, you should have a notebook for each one of your courses. Other
miscellaneous things you should have are: highlighters, erasers, a calculator, a binder, some dividers, glue, and a pair of scissors. There are also
tons of resources you can use if you need help in any of your classes or just overall advice. For instance, the internet, you can consult your teachers,

A Theory Model Of Production Organization
"Just–in–time" first proposes tools to strengthen organizational interaction, that is to say, to increase the interactivity between the organs or persons

specialized hierarchical management model (functionalist model), is judged to be unsuitable for the rise of uncertainty Is manifested by the difficulty
in foreseeing the activities and the productions to be carried out. "Just–in–time" therefore opposes this model by seeking to reduce stocks, and
consequently by controlling the interdependence between the different workplaces. This has the consequence of modifying the organization of work in

Getting Ready To Move
Winter is the time of year where the number of people who are moving house slows down. Not only are there the holidays ahead to be focused on, but
the possibility of encountering bad weather during the shift seems to deter those who are relocating voluntarily. Money Nation estimates you can save
up to 30% on your moving costs when you relocate during the off–peak seasons because companies will be vying for your business. However,
choosing to move during the winter months means you must be prepared for possible issues that lie ahead. There are three stages of your winter
move you should consider now while you are packing, so you are not dealing with raised stress levels once the relocation is under way.
Getting Ready To Move
Packing is never much fun, but it's even less exciting when it is freezing outside, and all you want to do is snuggle up by the hot fire. However, the
sooner you tackle the packing problem, the sooner you can relax until the truck arrives. From boxing to loading, here are a few ... Show more content on

When cardboard boxes get wet from rain or melted snow, the cardboard can become soggy and collapse. You don't want to be picking up your fine
china in pieces off the sidewalk because the base fell out of your boxes.
Do not pack anything into the truck that is full of liquid, such as glass jars of food. If your truck gets delayed due to weather, the liquid within the
jars could freeze, and the jars could explode from the pressure. This makes for an ugly clean up job when it is time to unpack at the other end.
Make sure your home is ready for the movers on moving day. The path between your home and the truck needs to be snow andice free. Have it
shoveled and salted before the movers arrive so they are not slipping and sliding while moving your valued belongings.
Once the truck is loaded, you need to be prepared for what could happen during the move

CPG Boot Camp Observation Report
Thank you for the opportunity to be part of the 2017 CPG Boot Camp that will cover "From Economic Challenges to Transformation Opportunities." I
believe the title is appropriate as challenges must be thought of as "opportunities." Currently I serve as rector at a nearly 150 year old
multi–generational parish with an ASA of 52 in arural town of approximately 5000 people. Similar to other small rural towns in the south there are
multiple churches in the area.
While there are multiple opportunities for worship, none of the churches are at seating capacity for their services each week. This observation creates a
belief that I would be able to reach without difficulty new members for St. Luke's, creating growth opportunities in the congregation. ... Show more

We have begun implementing ministry teams in the congregation, therefore putting some of the tasks onto the congregation. It has been my experience
that the clergy have taken on the majority of these tasks. The priest does provide leadership and direction, however the priest cannot be successful
without the support of the congregation.
My belief that the congregation can embrace and is ready for changes is verified in reading the parish profile that was out together two years ago
before I was called as rector. One of the top three items is "Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to reach new people and incorporate
them into the life of the church." As a priest that is comfortable trying new strategies and directions, I find it refreshing that the congregation will likely
not be resistant to new ideas.
Where I cannot compare ministry to my past career's, there are similar aspects I have used over the years that can assist in the development of new
systems and strategies. Leveraging my understanding of data collection and analysis will benefit this process, as I have a firm background in that

A Short Note On Clinical Mental Health Counseling
Sherene Phinizy

Croydon Pa 19021
I am applying to the MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a good listener as well as an overall thinker. I normally have a knack for taking
a problem, looking at it then figuring out the best way to solve it. My goal is to enter into a field that would enhance those skills as well as help others. I
would like to assist others in working out their issues so that they can move on from any situation with a successful mindset. I do believe that others
need help working through things that hinder or cause a disruption in their daily functions. I am a cancer survivor and when I was in the hospital I
could not do a thing for myself. I was bedridden for a month. A social worker came in the door and sat with me to figure out the best way tohelp me. I
then realized two things. The first one was that people sometimes need help to solve their problems and I needed a job that was not too physical.
Help is not a bad thing to need especially if it is done in a way to help you better yourself. A human being needs someone to talk to or show them a
way that they cannot see at the time.
I was greatly influenced by my battle with cancer. I was very young at the time and my life was just beginning. I had only been out of high school
for a year. I would have never have thought I would need my mother as much as I did. I was at the age when I was supposed to be finding myself and

Ready For Nursery School

kindergarten. It's important to find a balance between a fun, interactive learning center and a place where they'll be comfortable.
Research
Think about your priorities before starting your research. If you want a place rich in play or one that is geared towards learning, you'll need to
decide before your search. If you have friends and family with small children, don't be afraid to ask for recommendations. You might also find out
about nursery schools that wouldn't be a good fit. You can look online for nursery schools, or check your neighborhood for schools that are close by
your home or work. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
While some parents might put their child into a nursery school from the time of birth, you shouldn't wait too long. If your child will be ready for
nursery school next year, start looking at places now. You want time to make a researched and informed decision.
Activities for Kids
When researching and touring facilities, make sure you know what kind of learning you'd like for your child. Some activities for kids are geared
towards fun playtime. Other activities are meant to foster their intellect. If your child will be entering kindergarten, it's important to think about the
requirements for entering that grade level. The child will need at least the basics before entering kindergarten, so be sure that the nursery school
provides some of that learning.
Trust Your Intuition
While many nursery schools are wonderful facilities for your child, others might seem a bit unsuitable. Even if you can't pinpoint the source of your
unease, don't put your child into a place that you don't love. You shouldn't have any reservations about the care your child will receive. You want to be

Are You Ready?
Are You Ready? As a result of the Affordable Health Care Act of 2010 becoming a reality, there is a growing need for nursing practice to advance.
With this in mind, the health care delivery system is changing and as nurses we need to be ready. Health care will no longer be focused on the disease
but more on the prevention of the disease and health promotion. Who better than nurses to be best positioned to fill such new and expanded roles as a
consequence of this redesigned healthcare system? With further education we shall be better prepared to deliver safe, equitable, patient–centered, high
quality health care services. Nurses must engage with the physicians as well as others in and out the medical field to deliver care and assume ... Show

In requiring nurses to obtain their BSN, it poises them to continue to higher levels of education like masters and doctoral levels. This helps open the
doors for nurses to serve as primary care providers, nurse researchers, and nurse faculty, and demonstrate "true leadership."
Notable changes that need to be and should be done in nursing lies in educational programs. First, and foremost, nursing schools need to be better able
to accommodate more students. There are many well–qualified students that simply are unable to attend due to the lack of space. Accordingly, there is
lack of instructors who have the teaching skills for the community based, disease prevention and public health education, rather than just acute care.
Additionally, providing simulation labs in schools would demonstrate a benefit for learning; it allows the student to perform procedures in a safe
environment and then reflect on those procedures that could be improved on.
Finally, another barrier that could be overcome is diversity in nursing. To better meet the current and future needs of the public and to provide a more
culturally relevant care, we have the need to become more diverse. It's inevitable. Today's cultural, ethnic and environment requires, demands, and
expects diversity, which should also include more male nurses in the nursing community.

When fabricated in accordance with military specifications, it should be able to withstand thermal processing, or retort processing, and a wide
temperature range sufficient enough to prevent package damage during transportation and storage. Food packaged in a conventional can must be
cooked approximately twice as long as food contained in a retort pouch, as well. To sterilize the food contained in either form of packaging, it must
be brought up to approximately 245В° F and kept there for a specified period of time. Retort packages have a thin profile and a high ratio of surface
area to volume. Heat penetrates the food much more quickly when it only has to reach the inside of an approximately half–inch–thick mass, rather than
a much larger mass in a round can.
Coloring is also applied to either the exterior or interior surface of the polyester layer. While the pouch is considered a "tough" package, it
is not indestructible. The strength of the pouch and its resistance to damage comes from its tri–laminar structure. Strength of the pouch has always
been an issue for the Military, and it's difficult for some to understand that plastic can be as strong as steel, as metal cans are usually associated with
strength.

Reflection Paper On Sectionals
Sectionals, a very prestigious swim meet that is hard to swim in. This swim meet takes a whole season to get ready for, and you have to meet
standards for it. To get to Sectionals you have to have very fast times and make cuts. When I set goals that season this was one of them. Through
the months, prior to this swim meet, I had to train hard for it. It would take a lot of commitment, sweat, and get the times to be able to smell the

the season and I came closer to the Sectional cuts every meet. While some meets would go better than others, I knew I would get the time I was trying

My Junior Year : My Highself As A Junior Year
Benjamin Franklin once said, "I am lord of myself, accountable to none", and I feel that this has defined my junior year greatly due to my
tremendous growth as a student and a person. My junior year has not only helped me develop skills needed for a future as a successful adult, but also
ways to live happier for both myself and those around. From the beginning of the school year in September to now, I have changed my ways of a naive
underclassmen to now showcase qualities as a young adult in the community.
As the years fly by in my highschool career, I have continued to push myself by taking rigorous courses that have shaped what I may choose as a
career in the future. One of my hardest classes this year has ultimately been AP Biology, and although I love the subject and all I have learned, my
grades reflect the constant struggle I have had in the class. AP Biology has not only taught me that not only should I care for my own wellbeing,
but also that of others and the world we live in because our actions have a direct impact on all that surrounds us. AP Biology was also one of the
first classes I have ever taken where I need to study the material in order to perform well on a test. This was very different for me because in
comparison to previous courses, I never needed to study before a big exam or quiz in order to get a B or higher, therefore I really did not know
how to study. Through AP Biology I learned how to study and encouraged me to attempt studying for other courses I was taking, helping improve my
grades all around. However, I still hopelessly plagued with procrastination this year in nearly all my classes, which really impacted my grades as well.
As a person, junior has helped me realize that other people's actions do not always need a reaction from me. I have been able to keep myself and my
own priorities in place while ignoring those who are not there to support. As a person, I have learned to allow who and what is good is for me in
my own life and leave what is toxic in my life behind, because I have control over my own life. This includes having respect for myself and others
because I am putting myself first and allowing for myself to be happy in a respectful manner to others. I have also

Essay On Tn Ready

  • 1. Essay On Tn Ready State Should Replace TN Ready In recent years the state of Tennessee has experienced many problems with their new standardized testing called TN Ready. The new TN Ready standardized testing is unbeneficial to students and teachers. In the best interest of students and teachers the state should abolish TN Ready, and replace with the ACT Aspire and the ACT. Ever since the fall of 2015, when TN Ready began the state has experienced many problems, some of which still exist two years later. The original plan was to have students test online from the get go, but that was halted when the system students were using crashed. After the computer system crashed the state then decided to test on paper, which the vendor could ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Bottom line is the state should not have begun a new way of testing student and teacher performance until they were certain that teachers and students would experience no problems during testing. Since a new test in and of itself is hard enough for teachers and students to learn how to do, the transition from TCAP to TN Ready should have been smooth from the get go, but it was not. The state should abolish TN Ready and move to the ACT Aspire for grades three through ten and the ACT for grade eleven. Using the ACT Aspire and the ACT can serve many purpose. The first and perhaps the biggest benefit of using the ACT Aspire and the ACT is that it can show not only how well students are performing state wide but also how well they are performing nationally. There is also more practice resources out for ACT whereas there is hardly any for educators or students to use for TN Ready. Finally using the ACT Aspire and the ACT would better prepare students for college admissions, because teachers would be able to focus instruction solely on an exam that is comparable to that of the ACT. Using the ACT Aspire and the ACT is a win – win situation for everyone. Those opposed to using the ACT Aspire or the ACT would argue that it does not use some free response questions like that of TN Ready, and that it does not ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 2. I Ready For A Leader Am I ready to be a Leader? To me this topic is like double edge sword because I am currently in a couple of leadership roles. My hope would be that, yes, I am ready. What I have learned in my different roles and what the articles describe; there are different categories related to leadership. There are managers and there are leaders. There are different positions that are just managerial, some that require you to be a manager and a leader and some that are only leader positions. I think the higher up the ladder in a company or corporation you go the more likely you are to be in the leader role. I think front line or middle management positions are usually a manager/leader combination. I feel that my skills are stronger in management and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A leader is able to adapt and embrace change. They walk the talk, they have a vision that others want to help achieve. Individuals have the desire to be better when they work with a good leader. I believe that leadership is different depending on what the situation is. Being in a leadership position with my church and on a community council means I work with an organizations of "volunteers". Everyone is usually willing to perform different duties or assignments, but if they don't take it seriously and they lack commitment, you can't do a disciplinary action or fire them. You have to be ready to pick up any slack and complete the assignments. It is still important to have a vision and lead you team to achieve what that vision is. You need to utilize the strength of each member and to become a strong team. As leader in a work environment you have the responsibility to make sure that all employees are meeting or exceeding their job requirements. You should be developing and helping each employee to grow, advance and feel valued. You have actions plans to help improve performance and hold them accountable for their actions. As a leader for a financial institution; we've had a couple of guest speakers that talked about emotional intelligence so I really appreciated the article and the importance that it put on those components. For me it was very helpful as I thought about "Am I ready to be a Leader" to do a self–evaluation using these five areas. пѓ ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Reflection Paper On Sectionals Swimming Sectionals Sectionals, a very prestigious swim meet that is hard to swim in. This swim meet takes a whole season to get ready for and you have to meet standards for. For this meet you have to have very fast times and it has very fast swimmers. When I set goals that season this was one of them. Through the months, prior to this swim meet, I had to train for it get times and work hard. It would take a lot of commitment, sweat, and get the times to be able to smell the chlorine of that pool in Greensboro in March. The three things I am going to tell you about is how I got there, what happened when I did get there, and finals after. I was trying to get to sectionals and that was a big goal. After setting my goals I had to prepare to practice to get to sectionals. Everyday my team Carolina Aquatic Team has practice, so I had to go every day if I wanted to achieve my goal. Somedays I got tired of it and did not want to go. But then I thought about what I had done this for and kept pushing. During the months leading up to this swim meet I kept trying even with school and keeping good grades. There were 8 meets during the season and I came closer to the Sectional cuts every meet. While some meets would go better than others I knew I would get the times if I kept trying. After some time I finally got my Sectional cuts, and I got nine of them. By March, I was ready for Sectionals and all the fast swimmers to come. The weeks leading up to the meet, the people who were going to Sectionals on my team had taper practices which means it is easier to rest for the swim meet. On the day of the meet my Mother, my Brother, and I drove to Greensboro for the swim meet because he had made it too. On the first day were all the long events like 500 freestyle and 400 IM so that was going to be the toughest. As I walked into the arena that day I could feel the tension like it was tingling on my skin and it was kind of nerve wracking. After my first event my nerves had calmed down since all my friends were there and I was ready. Once the first day was done, I had realized what it was all about and was ready to take on my other events. On Saturday, were my better events and I was trying to do well on them and place higher. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Cheer Competition Research Paper A hush fell over the crowd and all eyes were on me. At that point there was no room for error, it was all or nothing. I was ready, I took a breath and went for it, unfortunately five seconds later I had met my match, the ground. I must admit I am not the most coordinated, but do not fret because occurrences such as these happen all the time: track meets, cheer competitions, flat ground. I have a lot of experience with track meets and cheer competitions, and over the years I have noticed an absurd amount of differences and similarities, the most greatest similarity being; if you put in the work, success will follow. I work to be the best all season by running, eating healthy, and pushing myself. Pushing myself towards first place to be exact. I train all season to go to that final competition or final meet to seize the trophy, and take home the title. Now whether or not that actually happens is a whole other story. To give a little background, in both competitions you compete with a team. You practice with a team, you travel with a team, and you finish as a team. Teamwork will help carry you across the finish line or propel you into the lead. In a cheer competition you ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I am also good friends with the hot turf, the hard mats in the gym, and the top side of a hurdle. I have fallen more times than I count in these two sports. My coach used to tell me if you do not fall every two weeks you are not trying your best. I think that was my greatest accomplishment all season. In cheer, falling is normally because someone decided to not catch you or at least in my case that is what it meant, but for track it meant I was not successful in pulling my leg fully over a hurdle, which would result in a nasty battle with the hurdle of which I did not win. Even with falling in both competitions you can still come out on top. You just need to get back up and finish what you started. And on many occasions I have done just ... Ready-to-Eat Breakfast R–T–E Cereal Breakfast Industry Name: Andres Gil Competitive Analysis and Strategy The ready to eat (RTE) cereal industry has grown steadily, with a compounded annual volume rate of three percent between 1950 and 1993. It success during the 20th century had been driven by the surge of consumer's interest in healthy and dietary food. After World War II there was an increase demand for vitamin fortification products. During the 50's, pre–sweetening gained popularity among Americans and in the 70's and through the 80's consumer's preferences turned to granola and natural cereals. The more new entrants that enter the market, the more saturated and fragmented it becomes for everyone. Brand name recognition plays a role in the RTE cereal industry. A company with a strong brand name such as Kellogg can sometimes retain a customer even if its prices are higher than competitors. Power of suppliers: There are many suppliers in this industry due to the simplicity of the materials, basic food ingredients, needed to manufacture these products. Subsequently, supplier's cost remains relatively low compared to other industries. Power of buyers: Given the number of products available, the bargaining power of customers in this industry is very high. The two main drivers for customer's preferences are quality and price, there is no service involved. Threat of substitutes: This category is very high in the RTE cereal industry. RTE cereals compete with every single breakfast buyer option that is out in the market. For instance, a person might choose to eat an egg sandwich or fruits or pancakes rather than cereals. Through high advertising costs, RTE cereal companies create brand awareness among consumers by presenting their products as the healthier breakfast option and therefore remain competitive. Competitive rivalry: This industry had been heavily concentrated by the big three companies during the last 90

College ready means that students need to be prepare for college level education to be able to succeed or do well in credit–bearing college courses without the need of remedial coursework. Being college ready refers to the level of knowledge and skills students are required to possess in certain subject areas such as mathematics, reading and English and to be successful in any and all future accomplishments. In the article "College Readiness Is More Than Academics" by Kevin Chavous, Donald did not have his mother to support him and lead him in the right direction. However because of this, Donald went off into the military and he did not get the opportunity to enroll in college and reach his full academic potential. • 8. Personal Narrative Experience : An Example Of A Personal... Success We've all been successful at something one time or another. I know I've had a couple of successful moments myself. So here's a little bit about one of those times. In March of 2016, I was sent away to JDC in Lincoln for my behavior here in school. I was held in JDC for 3 weeks. While I was there, I had an interview over the phone from ABH (Addiction Behavioral Health) in Omaha. My court date was bumped up a week early and I was accepted into ABH. After I went to court in Beatrice, I was able to go home, take a nice long, hot shower, get dressed and pack my bag for my new journey. When I first got there, I had to do the paperwork with my grandparents, take a shower with a special kind of soap, I had to make the bed that was assigned. After I got my bed made I fell asleep. The next day and for about 2 weeks after that I stayed at ABH all day and just messed around because I was waiting to get enrolled in school. I played games and watched movies for two weeks straight, except when the other kids got back from school we went to treatment work and treatment groups. ABH was for kids with behavior problems or addiction problems or could be a combination of both. For me it was a combination of both. Because I was addicted to drugs and had some behavioral issues and problems with my family that I needed to work on. So I was a perfect fit and was accepted. Everyday we did treatment work and treatment groups and if you didn't have 21 hours by the weekend, you didn't get to go out or go on your pass. I loved to go home on the weekends, so I worked on treatment work non–stop. The more treatment papers and work I got done, the less I had to worry about it later on. Some challenges I faced at ABH were the kids and some staff that I didn't get along with. I had a real problem with one staff member, and he didn't like me either. We would clash heads anytime he would try and talk or correct me. There were things he wasn't included in or that didn't involve me, but he would somehow try and get me involved or included in trouble. In other words, he tried to bring me down as much as possible. There were a couple kids there that I let get to me. They always talked down or made fun of me. They knew it

Branding and Marketing of MDL for the Twin Cities Market Although they may seem one in the same, we want to explain and differentiate the terms Branding and Marketing. Although they are closely related and should actively complement each other for a successful business strategy, they should have separate and individualized goals and budgets. Branding – a long–term process by which we will create and manufacture the presence of MDL through consistent visibility, creating simple, yet powerful, to the point messages which boost the awareness of MDL, along the lines of "Have You Been To?" Branding is built by presenting repetitive and cohesive messages, increasing the familiarity of the name, its purpose and vision to build a reputation and ultimately an experience. Brand isn't traceable, but is the tool that makes the marketing successful. Marketing – is an immediate action, which puts consumers in the midst of the daily, monthly, seasonal, and special event specifics and ongoings at MDL. In order to be successful in resolving this software crisis at Hybara Casinos, I've identified the following issues and needs in order to restore their Driscoll Software system. Hybara Casinos was a previous client who left Driscoll and installed a cheaper software system that constantly crashes and is losing revenue (Green). Tim O'Connell who is my boss and unit head has agreed to restore their previous system at Driscoll Software with hopes to win this client back. I met with my team, explained the current situation of Hybara Casinos coming back to Driscoll and deadline of this install by the end of the year, which is two weeks away. Their hitter made a lightning fast approach and the ball spun through the air over to our side, aimed right at me. This was my first volleyball camp at Michigan Tech University this summer and I was ready. Coaches sorted us into teams, taught us some intermediate skills revolving around the technique of the game, and scrimmaging from time to time. My team leader was Ali Gerring, a recent graduate from Kingsford. We did bump–set–spike drills and six different rotations to get ready for our big scrimmage the next day. You could see the sweat glistening on our faces, and smell the hard determination to improve. You could hear players call for the ball at every court yelling, "Mine, mine mine!" At every practice there were different stations specializing in hitting (spiking), digging (bumping), and setting. We peppered with partners at some stations and practiced serving at others. Our forearms were turning scarlet from digging so many balls and our necks started to ache after craning our necks so many times setting the ball. There was a bit more excitement in our school due to the fact we were playing against our rival, Garden City High School. Garden City was the team to beat in our district because they were phenomenal at all sports, especially volleyball. The referee blew the whistle signaling for the coaches to pick their starting six players for the game and finally, the game began. "Four, Four!" I yelled to my setter on the outside left and she quickly nodded her head as she was about to set the ball to me. As I started my approach, I raised my left arm and my right arm was bent at an angle besides my ear. I waited for the ball to be at a perfect height and with my right palm spread wide, I hit the ball as hard as I could muster. The ball went straight down to the other team's side, but it went out of bounds, meaning it was outside the playing area. Chetta had prepared us for more than a week. We were ready to play, but not like this. Orange dirt had been thrown into the goal to intentionally distract and hurt our goalie. Parts of the field were drenched in water, making it hard for the ball to move. We were angered, but Chetta humbled us. He was excited to have a few more days to prepare. Being an understanding person is what Chetta is known for. Being understanding helps him build relationships. Not just with strangers, but with his players. Building a healthy relationship with your players is key to coaching. It helps encourage them to do better, and relieves heavy amounts of stress off of them. Being understanding helps players know that he is available to help at anytime; on and off the field. He was a father figure to all of us. Making sure we are on top of our schoolwork. We were not allowed to make below a B. If that were to happen, he would suspend us until it is brought up. He always wanted the best for everyone. His characteristics made him successful. Having everything a person looks for in a person, helped him win coach of the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 36. Are You Ready? Are You Ready? As a result of the Affordable Health Care Act of 2010 becoming a reality, there is a growing need for nursing practice to advance. With this in mind, the health care delivery system is changing and as nurses we need to be ready. Health care will no longer be focused on the disease but more on the prevention of the disease and health promotion. Who better than nurses to be best positioned to fill such new and expanded roles as a consequence of this redesigned healthcare system? With further education we shall be better prepared to deliver safe, equitable, patient–centered, high quality health care services. Nurses must engage with the physicians as well as others in and out the medical field to deliver care and assume ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In requiring nurses to obtain their BSN, it poises them to continue to higher levels of education like masters and doctoral levels. This helps open the doors for nurses to serve as primary care providers, nurse researchers, and nurse faculty, and demonstrate "true leadership." Notable changes that need to be and should be done in nursing lies in educational programs. First, and foremost, nursing schools need to be better able to accommodate more students. There are many well–qualified students that simply are unable to attend due to the lack of space. Accordingly, there is lack of instructors who have the teaching skills for the community based, disease prevention and public health education, rather than just acute care. Additionally, providing simulation labs in schools would demonstrate a benefit for learning; it allows the student to perform procedures in a safe environment and then reflect on those procedures that could be improved on. Finally, another barrier that could be overcome is diversity in nursing. To better meet the current and future needs of the public and to provide a more culturally relevant care, we have the need to become more diverse. It's inevitable. Today's cultural, ethnic and environment requires, demands, and expects diversity, which should also include more male nurses in the nursing community. When fabricated in accordance with military specifications, it should be able to withstand thermal processing, or retort processing, and a wide temperature range sufficient enough to prevent package damage during transportation and storage. Food packaged in a conventional can must be cooked approximately twice as long as food contained in a retort pouch, as well. To sterilize the food contained in either form of packaging, it must be brought up to approximately 245В° F and kept there for a specified period of time. Retort packages have a thin profile and a high ratio of surface area to volume. Heat penetrates the food much more quickly when it only has to reach the inside of an approximately half–inch–thick mass, rather than a much larger mass in a round can. Coloring is also applied to either the exterior or interior surface of the polyester layer. While the pouch is considered a "tough" package, it is not indestructible. The strength of the pouch and its resistance to damage comes from its tri–laminar structure. Strength of the pouch has always been an issue for the Military, and it's difficult for some to understand that plastic can be as strong as steel, as metal cans are usually associated with strength. Each of the three laminas has its own individual qualities that contribute to the success ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

To get to Sectionals you have to have very fast times and make cuts. When I set goals that season this was one of them. Through the months, prior to this swim meet, I had to train hard for it. It would take a lot of commitment, sweat, and get the times to be able to smell the chlorine of that pool in Greensboro in March. The three things I am going to tell you about is how I got there, what happened when I did get there, and finals after. I was trying to get to sectionals and that was a big goal. After setting my goals, I had to prepare to practice to get to sectionals. Everyday Carolina Aquatic Team has practice, so I had to go every day if I wanted to achieve my goal. Carolina Aquatic Team is the team I swim for it is in Durham, N.C. Some days I got tired of it and did not want to go. I thought about what I had done for this, and realized I should keep pushing. During the months prior to the swim meet, I kept working hard even with keeping up my grades in school. . There were eight meets during the season and I came closer to the Sectional cuts every meet. While some meets would go better than others, I knew I would get the time I was trying for if I kept trying. After a while I finally got the times I was hoping for, and I qualified for nine events. • 44. My Junior Year : My Highself As A Junior Year Benjamin Franklin once said, "I am lord of myself, accountable to none", and I feel that this has defined my junior year greatly due to my tremendous growth as a student and a person. My junior year has not only helped me develop skills needed for a future as a successful adult, but also ways to live happier for both myself and those around. From the beginning of the school year in September to now, I have changed my ways of a naive underclassmen to now showcase qualities as a young adult in the community. As the years fly by in my highschool career, I have continued to push myself by taking rigorous courses that have shaped what I may choose as a career in the future. One of my hardest classes this year has ultimately been AP Biology, and although I love the subject and all I have learned, my grades reflect the constant struggle I have had in the class. AP Biology has not only taught me that not only should I care for my own wellbeing, but also that of others and the world we live in because our actions have a direct impact on all that surrounds us. AP Biology was also one of the first classes I have ever taken where I need to study the material in order to perform well on a test. This was very different for me because in comparison to previous courses, I never needed to study before a big exam or quiz in order to get a B or higher, therefore I really did not know how to study. Through AP Biology I learned how to study and encouraged me to attempt studying for other courses I was taking, helping improve my grades all around. However, I still hopelessly plagued with procrastination this year in nearly all my classes, which really impacted my grades as well. As a person, junior has helped me realize that other people's actions do not always need a reaction from me. I have been able to keep myself and my own priorities in place while ignoring those who are not there to support. As a person, I have learned to allow who and what is good is for me in my own life and leave what is toxic in my life behind, because I have control over my own life. This includes having respect for myself and others because I am putting myself first and allowing for myself to be happy in a respectful manner to others. I have also ...
