Educational Leadership Scholarship Essay
To my understanding, the college of Saint Rose is seeking ambitious and driven individuals to be a part of the competitive Educational Leadership
Program. I am well qualified for the program, with over fifteen years of work experience as a teacher and an educational leader. As a result, I would
like to be considered for candidacy. I can succeed and will succeed, because of my academic achievement and professional commitment. My personal
and professional strengths include motivating, career planning, and implementing programs to advance people and organizations. I can make important
decisions and judgments on a particular task–with careful analysis. I am interested in other people's ideas, and as a critical thinker I never accept ideas
without looking at the facts.
My education consists of: a B.A. in Psychology, and a M.ED in Special Education, in which I graduated with honors from Delaware State University. I

After having 15 years of teaching experience, I realize now that I have exhausted my career options and growth within the school setting.
My immediate and long term goals are as follows: obtaining a Masters degree in Educational Leadership. My long term goal is to open a Charter
School in my neighborhood, which would service Caribbean–American Children. I strongly believe in community building, and opening this Charter is
my way of giving back to my community. This population usually consists of at–risk children and their families. If I could accomplish my plan, it
would be the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. I have taken the necessary steps in maintaining a close relationship with business associates in my
neighborhood.
This is where the College of Saint Rose comes into play. The college can help me to fulfill my aspirations, lifetime and career goals. Based on word of
mouth the college of Saint Rose has the

My Scholarship: A Positive Impact On My Education
This scholarship would have a positive impact on my education and help my mom pay for college without taking student loans. My mom has been a
single mom for eighteen years and has supported me, my brother, and grandparents. She does not receive child support on a regular basis and does
everything on her own. Unfortunately, my younger brother is an accident–prone child and has racked up some high medical bills throughout the years.
For countless years she has worked two jobs to support everyone and provide anything within reason. My mom is currently unemployed due to the
downturn in the oil field in west Texas. Now she has taken on the challenge of remodeling and flipping houses. I work a few partial jobs throughout
the year to help my mom

Respected Scholarship Awards Committee:
Most of the graduates alike me don't discover their management zeal until they've knocked around the workplace for a few years. However, a core of
my ambitious pre–entrepreneurial undertakings and a series of coherent roles & responsibilities made me clear that deep down I have a desire to pursue
leadership roles down the lane and I believe, a master of management degree from Macquarie would acquaint me with skills and potential to work with
senior business leaders to create effective strategies that deal with the pressing business issues, to become an innovator, an influencer, and a

During my tenure, I played a vital role towards bringing in key reforms that ensured better infrastructure facilities for the students residing on campus,
which included uninterrupted internet connectivity, hygiene surroundings, and upgraded sports inventory. Also, I was the sole point of contact
between the management and the students hailing from the southern part of India who were accounting for more than 50% of the headcount.
Apart from serving my student council term, I was also heading the Show Management and Fine Arts for our third edition of the annual national
technical symposium which involved coordinating with all the stakeholders, logistics and ensuring smooth operational activities across all verticals
with the help of a team of over 25 enthusiastic volunteers. Prior to this, I was volunteering for the Marketing and Show Management teams during our

Essay Ap English Class
It has been an interesting semester of AP English. I wrote a total of four essays, each one seem to be better then the last. My best essay had to have
been my college scholarship essay. The prompt I used for my scholarship essay was "something I know now that I wish I knew when I was younger".
I talk about how failure is something everyone should experience, because it helps you learn from your mistakes and gain valuable experience. I truly
believe in this concept, which helped me, dive head first into this essay. Something else that made this essay standout, as my best work is that I was
able to get my point across and use some personally experiences that helped drive the point home. In summary, my college scholarship essay is
probably the best evidence of my hard work because I put a lot of thought and effort into writing it. Making this portfolio made me think about my
writing skills and what level of writing I am on. I think that I made some improvements to my writing, but I could have done better. Some
improvements I made during this semester would be better organization; I was able to produce my own outline that actually helped me while I was
writing my essay. Another improvement that I made would be the ability to find three main points that could be argued in a paper. Even though there
was improvement in some aspects of my writing there are some areas that could use a little work. I need to do a better job of supporting my main
points. I am able to find the main

Football Scholarship Essay
"Let's give it up for Danielle Gilman, this year's soccer captain." As I stood up to receive my "band" I was proud of my accomplishments and so happy
I chose a sport where I could show my agility, in which I could be part of a team and be recognized by my peers for my leadership.Within seventy–two
hours, my dreams were shattered.
At the first practice drill I did what I had been taught to do. I passed the ball to the girl in front of me who in turn received the ball, and charged
towards the goal and ME. She went right, I went left, and somehow my leg twisted at the knee. As I heard the snap, my first thought was that my leg
was somewhere on the field or detached from my body. I was relieved to see my limb was intact and elated that I felt...show more content...
My brother, Brett, excelled on the court and he spent hours showing me the significance of using the continental grip to serve, how to put a spin on the
ball, and when and how to stop before approaching the net. A surprising benefit of mylearning tennis was the comradeship Brett and I developed and
now we had something in common besides mom, and Bernie, our dog.
All spring I perfected my forehand, backhand, serve, volley, and tried to keep in shape. I gave up ice cream in favor of vegetables, water rather than
soft drinks and the most difficult of all, salad instead of pizza. I realized the importance a healthy lifestyle has toward becoming a forceful tennis
player, so I no longer indulged my sweet tooth.
In June when I heard the announcement over the school's P.A. that tennis tryouts were approaching, I felt both excitement and anxiety. Would I be
ready to compete against girls who had been perfecting their sport for years? I had a few weeks remaining to sharpen my skills and to beg my
brother to be my opponent. He acquiesced and we practiced for hours at a time. I was always mindful that at any moment my knee could be injured

Future Leaders Scholarship Essay
My goals are to attend college and to continue to support issues such as women empowerment, which I have been actively supporting the past 4
years. I desire to major in informatics because I would like to go into a field that not many women go into and I desire to minor (or perhaps double
major if possible) in business because the female to male ratio of leaders in the business are depressingly low for females in America today, despite
the fact that women are just as capable as men in the workplace. I believe that the KPMG Future Leaders Program's goal for developing future
generations of women leaders is personally, my perfect opportunity. The scholarship provided in this program would help me go to the bestcollege of

Department of Agriculture and Nutrition Scholarship Essay
9 January, 2017
I choose to pursue an agriculture degree because I have always felt drawn to the field. I have loved animals and felt a strong desire to care for them
since I was a little girl. Animals mean the world to me and when they're doing well, my heart can rest. I absolutely love farm animals and fully intend
to have my own sort of miniature zoo on a hobby farm. During high school I was in FFA and 4H and thoroughly enjoyed showing chickens and rabbits.
I started out as a biology major at Dixie State but did not find satisfaction because there were no animal science courses available, but I was unable to
leave my family and live elsewhere so I remained unhappy.

Dream Scholarship Essay
I come from a small town and a family who hasn't always had luxurious things but has never went without the things we must have. For that I will
forever be grateful. Watching my father and mother struggle to provide for my sisters and I strongly motivated me to want to earn a higher education.
I hope to have a career that I both enjoy and that allows me to provide many things for myself and future family. I know that because of my family's
financial stability this will not because easy.
I have many goals in life, one of those being to become a dentist. I do not want to be just any dentist, I want to be a dentist for low income families so
that more people are able to afford the proper dental care. To do so I have a long rigorous road ahead of me but I am not frightened by this. I have
always strived to attended school and my desire to do so will only become stronger as I get older. I love learning because while one might not always

When students think about going to college of course the first thing they think of is the cost. However, I am not going to just any college, I am going
to a private all women's college, not because I want to but because I need to. Meredith College is the best fit for me for so many reasons. One of those
reasons being that they offer a pre–dental program that other public universities do not. Paying for a private college is already going to be hard for my
family and I not to mention paying for dental school after I graduate undergrad school. I have applied to many scholarships and already received quite
a few but I am still far from reaching my goal of being able to comfortably pay for my college

Community Scholarship Essay
A young person should strive to support their local community for various reasons. Engaging in community service provides people with the
opportunity to become active members of their community and has a lasting, positive impact on society at large. Community service and volunteerism
enables one to acquire life skills and knowledge, as well as provide a service to those who need it most.
Supporting the community is a way to give back, it's a learning experience, it strengthens the community, promotes personal growth and self–esteem, it
brings people together, it makes you feel good, it's an investment to the area you work and live and most importantly it allows you to make a difference.
I have been able to develop real–world skills that has helped me to succeed both in school and at home. I have learned leadership, problem solving, time
management, communication skills and how to work with others. I can see firsthand that the work I have done has made a real impact in the community.

I participated in my schools Beautification Project by cleaning up the school grounds and surrounding area. I pulled weeds, planted flowers, laid
mulch, picked up trash and painted. This was important to me because it allowed me to give back to the area I both live and attend school. I have
baked and distributed cookies to families at the Ronald Me Donald House. I have also prepared snack packs for families at the Ronald Me Donald
House– prepared bags with pudding cups cheese crackers, chips, granola bars and muffins. These were provided to families so that they could have
access to a snack while at the hospital with their child. I have sort/packed food at the Mid–Ohio Food Bank, volunteered as a community meal server
and donate blood regularly. I also assisted with coordinating the blood drive at my

Fine Arts Scholarship Essay
I started at taking art classes in high school to explore how I might use art to change and shape the world around me and I started to learn the
demands and possibilities of what art could do and what I could do. From fifth grade into my sophomore year college my mother had cancer and
various types at that, and so 50% of my responsibilities were home and the other 50% were at school. I ended up missing school often, but I managed
to graduate high school in three years so my mother could see me graduate because it was one of her dreams. After high school graduation, I quickly

I want a damp forehead because I am working so hard, and I want to wake up with charcoal on my face because I had been up all night finishing an

program will allow me to intertwine the arts, and take classes I intend to accomplish and achieve knowledge that will help pursue my aspiration of
being a working artist in today's world. Going into an area that may not have a very optimistic employment opportunities has put my friends and family
on an edge but I can do this and I can do it well. I am setting out to learn what I do yet understand and fully believe this is what I am must to do.
I have interest in subjects other than the fine arts as well. Acting, theatre, and music are other types of art that I can engage and emerge myself in,
and find ways I can relate it to my artwork. Any new experience truly makes my art better. I am so excited to try to learn new ways of expressing and
becoming skilled. Gaining the skills of global thinking, problem solving, communication and finding ways of how I can intertwine art. Enhance

I should be considered for an academic scholarship because I am a dedicated, Radiology student that represents Trenholm State by being academically
successful in both didactic and clinical environments. I am a 19–year–old, hard working, full time Radiology student at Trenholm State. I am not only a

The first semester was definitely a make It or break it for students. I came into this program not realizing how much time and effort is put into this
program. I had to become very disciplined with my time and focus only on the program. There have been many nights of no sleep and no eating to
maintain the grades that I have now. Currently, for the spring semester, I have all A's which will bring my GPA up from a 3.484 to a 3.6 or higher.
The main goal to succeed in this program is to study, manage your time and to discipline yourself. I am a person that enjoys to overcome new
challenges in life. This program has been such a challenge but I am almost halfway there. I promised my family and myself that I will continue to
successfully progress in this program no matter what obstacles comes in my way. All of this will be worth it in the end. In the next year, I will be
graduating the Radiology Program with an Honors Associates Degree. From there, I will continue my education at Chattanooga State Community

I never stop thinking about being a film director. All these elements have given me a very broad outlook, with varying degrees of knowledge in a
range of topics. I strongly believe that although some are not related directly, all these qualities will influence my graduate work.
When the opportunity showed up I took it. I came to New York City to study film. But I have to start from the beginning. The first year I prepared
to get my GED. In October 2001 I took the examination and I passed it. Now, the second step, how can I do to pay a college or a university? I
started to work and I took editing courses in the School of Visual Art and NYU. I bought a digital camera and I learned how to used it. I started to
work making digital videos for parties and events. I earned enough money to start my career. The CUNY advisor sent me to HOSTOS Community
College because he told me that it would be easier for me to study there. Even though the major that I was interested in, wasn't in HOSTOS curriculum,
I accepted but with the idea in my mind to changed to the college where film major was imparted.

Scholarship: Academic study or achievement; learning of a high level. I am most passionate about the pillar of scholarship because it is the most

this particular pillar because If I want to achieve my dream job I will have to use this tactic. When I get older I would like to be in the medical field,
specifically an anesthesiologist. To achieve this goal of mine, it is necessary to have scholarship. In order to do this, I will have to set my mind on

Why I Deserve This Scholarship
I should be chosen for this scholarship because I am a positive, hard working student who is very involved in my school and my community, and has
future goals. I believe that I hold all those characteristics, plus many more.
School is very important to me. I show this by working hard in my classes and being involved in extracurricular activities. I have received all A's
throughout my high school years and my teachers can always depend on me. At school I am a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletics, Math Club,
Smith Cotton United Foreign Language Club, Key Club, Show Choir, National Honor Society, and the Tennis team. I enjoy activities where I can learn
and have fun at the same time.
School to me though is not just about getting the good grades, it is also about reaching out and helping other students. Through the activities that I
am involved in, I try to be a leader, but not in the normal ways that one might think of. I am a leader by being nice to others, praising them when
they are doing something well, and by showing the right example. People will respect and look up to you if you show them love and compassion. To
me that is what a leader is all about. Not only do I work hard at school to get good grades and to be a leader, but I also work hard out of school. For the
past three years I have been working for the Wheeler and Woolery families. During my time with these families, I have babysat Ms. Woolery's two
children, worked at the Pork Place

  • 4. Essay Ap English Class It has been an interesting semester of AP English. I wrote a total of four essays, each one seem to be better then the last. My best essay had to have been my college scholarship essay. The prompt I used for my scholarship essay was "something I know now that I wish I knew when I was younger". I talk about how failure is something everyone should experience, because it helps you learn from your mistakes and gain valuable experience. I truly believe in this concept, which helped me, dive head first into this essay. Something else that made this essay standout, as my best work is that I was able to get my point across and use some personally experiences that helped drive the point home. In summary, my college scholarship essay is probably the best evidence of my hard work because I put a lot of thought and effort into writing it. Making this portfolio made me think about my writing skills and what level of writing I am on. I think that I made some improvements to my writing, but I could have done better. Some improvements I made during this semester would be better organization; I was able to produce my own outline that actually helped me while I was writing my essay. Another improvement that I made would be the ability to find three main points that could be argued in a paper. Even though there was improvement in some aspects of my writing there are some areas that could use a little work. I need to do a better job of supporting my main points. I am able to find the main Get more content on HelpWriting.net

As I stood up to receive my "band" I was proud of my accomplishments and so happy I chose a sport where I could show my agility, in which I could be part of a team and be recognized by my peers for my leadership.Within seventy–two hours, my dreams were shattered. At the first practice drill I did what I had been taught to do. I passed the ball to the girl in front of me who in turn received the ball, and charged towards the goal and ME. All spring I perfected my forehand, backhand, serve, volley, and tried to keep in shape. I gave up ice cream in favor of vegetables, water rather than soft drinks and the most difficult of all, salad instead of pizza. I realized the importance a healthy lifestyle has toward becoming a forceful tennis player, so I no longer indulged my sweet tooth. In June when I heard the announcement over the school's P.A. that tennis tryouts were approaching, I felt both excitement and anxiety. Would I be ready to compete against girls who had been perfecting their sport for years? I had a few weeks remaining to sharpen my skills and to beg my brother to be my opponent. He acquiesced and we practiced for hours at a time. I was always mindful that at any moment my knee could be injured Get more content on HelpWriting.net

I believe that I hold all those characteristics, plus many more. School is very important to me. I show this by working hard in my classes and being involved in extracurricular activities. I have received all A's throughout my high school years and my teachers can always depend on me. At school I am a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletics, Math Club, Smith Cotton United Foreign Language Club, Key Club, Show Choir, National Honor Society, and the Tennis team. I enjoy activities where I can learn and have fun at the same time. School to me though is not just about getting the good grades, it is also about reaching out and helping other students. Through the activities that I am involved in, I try to be a leader, but not in the normal ways that one might think of. I am a leader by being nice to others, praising them when they are doing something well, and by showing the right example. People will respect and look up to you if you show them love and compassion. To me that is what a leader is all about. Not only do I work hard at school to get good grades and to be a leader, but I also work hard out of school. For the past three years I have been working for the Wheeler and Woolery families.
