Simple overview for creating art in Photoshop.

Photoshop lends itself to drawing and colouring with a variety of brush effects and be ability to layer and collage scanned or drawn items.

I would recommend drawing with a Wacom tablet or similar drawing tablet rather than a computer mouse to avoid muscle fatigue.

  4. 4. <ul><li>Open Photoshop </li></ul><ul><li>Open the picture file you have saved </li></ul><ul><li>Choose a paintbrush or the paint bucket option </li></ul><ul><li>With the paint bucket, you can fill in solid areas of the image </li></ul><ul><li>With the paintbrush, you can fill in the details more like painting </li></ul><ul><li>Try using different brushes to get different effects </li></ul><ul><li>If you don’t like it, click on the undo button and try again </li></ul>
  5. 5. <ul><li>When you are satisfied with your picture, you can save it as a jpeg or TIFF </li></ul><ul><li>You can print this picture or email it or load it up to your website </li></ul><ul><li>300 dpi is high quality, if you want to use a lower quality image for a website, lower the dpi to about 97. </li></ul><ul><li>Photoshop is a wonderful program for artists, so experiment and have fun! </li></ul>
