Artificial intelligence in the post-deep learning era
Development stages of my digipak
1. This is the approximate size of a standard CD case, I
used this sizing guide to create my canvas.
2. Using Adobe
Fireworks as my
editing software
I set about
creating the
Front of my
digipak.
I chose this image of the
bridge as my Digipak front
cover because I felt that
aside from being very
picturesque, it was only
natural since the bridge
itself was featured in my
video.
3. I decided to
convert the
colour of my
photograph to
greyscale
because I am
trying to
emulate the
techniques
used on other
Digipaks and
CD covers of
the same
genre.
4.
5. I then adjusted
the saturation
and lightness
hues of the
photo to make
it darker, since I
felt the image
was too light in
tone.
6.
7. I did the same
procedure to this
picture of a solitary
tree, however I saw
that this image was
much to dark when i
was simply grey
scaled.
8. I decided to use
an after affect
called “heat” to
brighten the
image up. As can
be seen, the
effect brightens
up darkened
areas and makes
the picture more
attractive.
