2. Before I had finished making my Teaser Trailer, my magazine
front cover and my film poster, I showed all these products to my
A level class which consisted of many 17-18 year olds. This age
range of people fitted my target market of 15-24 year olds which
is a reason why I asked them to give me feedback. I asked each
individual for one positive and one negative comment. Asking
everyone individually enabled me to get a range of comments
which was very beneficial.

3. Positive Comments –
A few of my class stated that the black clips running
throughout my teaser trailer helped split the whole thing
up and make it easier to digest. They also commented on
how it was clever how our main character, Grace was
shown twice in a mysterious way at the end, it really
generated interest in the trailer, making the audience
wonder what will be happening next. Another individual
said how it was clear my genre was Thriller, as there was
no blood or supernatural creatures.

4. Negative Comments –
At this point in the creation of our teaser trailer, there was no
music added at all, so there was many comments about adding
this or sound effects throughout our trailer. Including eerie sound
effects throughout the length of the trailer, at specific points is a
common convention of many teaser trailers as it sets the scene.
This is seen in trailers such as Annabelle. Going back to this
comment now, many Thriller Teaser Trailers do involve creepy
sound effects, this could be because the soundtrack for the film
isn’t fully completed.

5. Although when my Teaser Trailer, Magazine Front Cover and Film Poster
were finished I completed a Facebook group to receive feedback, after this I
also completed a questionnaire to ask members of my target audience. This
included questions like:
“Did you enjoy the Teaser Trailer?”
“Would you go and pay to see the film in the cinema now you have watched
the Teaser Trailer?”
The questionnaire produced a lot of positive feedback. I used similar wording
for the questions about my Magazine Front Cover and my Film Poster.
