2. RELEASE DATE AND CAMPAIGN DATE
• The film will come out on the 14th of March 2018
• So the campaign will start 6 month before the film is released, so on the
14th of September posters for the film will drop then a trailer will drop 3
months later sometime in December and during all of this we will be
posting things on our social media such as Instagram so that the film
has enough time to get hype without being forgotten about.

3. IMAGE PREPARING
I took this picture of the 2
main cast members in
front of a green screen so
it was easy to cut out so I
can place the 2 cast
members in a more
appropriate place
I got this image from the
thumbnail of a video to
use as my background

This is my final image as you
see I changed the brightness
and contrast of the
background and added the
cut out version of the 2 main
characters
4. TARGET AUDIENCE
• The reason why things such as posters and snippets of trailers
will be dropped on social medias is because the targeted
audience for the film is for young adults so 16 to 25 is our
targeted age, and as you know the majority of young adults are
fixated to their phones and social media.
5. AUDIENCE FEEDBACK
Connor Crampton-19:
My first impressions of the trailer were that it seemed a bit off
because of the slow-motion effect tat was put on it didn't seem
that it would fit well, however after watching it a few more times
I like the effect because it leads to the "calm before the storm"
and the music helps this effect a lot and fits really well with the
whole feel of the trailer and what the movie could be. From the
first poster I get the impression that the movie will be a spoof of
some sort and from the way the actors are positioned it will
obviously be a comedy. The second poster is quite similar to the
first one because it shows the actors in the same position and
same background but the font for the movie has been altered a
bit with an effect to make it look distorted.
Finn Harrison-18:
When I saw the trailer I thought that it looked great but
after watching it a few more times I didn't really like it that
much because the slow-motion effect doesn't suit a horror
movie like this and I don't like the brief idea that I got from
the trailer for a full movie. The first poster looks like it was
done in about 5-10 minutes which for a poster for a movie
is pretty bad because it shows that the creator doesn't
really care about their movie that much. The second poster
doesn't look that much better, because the only change is
a edit for the title.
Shaunnxa Lamb-17:
When looking at the trailer I got the idea that it would be fun
and enjoyable but after watching it a few more times I think
that it could still be enjoyable but it would only be movie I
would watch once and then forget about it. With that said I
will still find it funny based of the few clips that were in the
trailer. Both posters look like good but not very professional
because they look like a terrible mashup of what a horror
movie poster would look like, however with that being said I
do like both of them.
Conclusion
In conclusion, after looking over the feedback that I've got I
feel like this media campaign was very successful in
promoting my movie. It helped me to see what
improvements are needed for my posters and how I can
make them different to get a wider appeal from an audience.
From the first reviewer, they said "the trailer seemed a bit off
because of the slo-mo effect...however after watching it a few
more times I like it a lot". This will help me to see what
changes I can make to my work to make it a lot better if I
were to do this again, they also said "it (the music) leads to
the calm before the storm and it fits really well with the tone
