In Van Helsing, the three brides ofDracula are strikingly beautiful women and Jerry the vampire in Fright Night is very handsome, and this fact is
remarked by the female characters in the film on several occasions. The fact that these new modern vampires are seen as very sexual and extremely

Vampires, zombies, ghosts, and demons are the four biggest genres of Western horror. While some horror movie tropes seem to come and go, like
mummies, witches, cannibals, those four genres never seem to disappear. Every couple of months a new haunted house movie comes out, and since

In keeping with this tradition, Charlotte Bronte also uses the vampire element in her novel Jane Eyre. Nina Auerbach sums up popular sentiment

DISCIPLE is a vampire script that features an ensemble cast. The script is driven by the universal theme of good vs. evil. Moral choices are explored.
Vampire scripts and films are not new to the industry and in order to be successful they have to offer the audience something new. This script attempts
to do this with an intriguing twist that vampires battle vampires. This concept has merit.
While there are strengths and weaknesses to the script, the script, overall, would benefit from more development. There are several features that are
worth discussing.
One concern about the script is that because of the ensemble cast, there isn't a strong protagonist that drives the plot. While it appears that John is the
protagonist, he doesn't have a clear goal, nor does he drive the story. In fact, because of the opening with first Sebastian and then Veronica, it's a bit
challenging to know who the true protagonist really is.
At first, one thinks the protagonist is Veronica. The opening of her attacking her attacker is solid. The audience likes her and is hooked. The reveal of
her fangs is strong. It sets the tone. Unfortunately, then more characters are introduced, and while Veronica has some strong moments in the script, she
doesn't drive the plot.

They went from being heartless bloodthirsty killers to supernatural creatures that just want to live a normal life. From the beginning vampires have
been night walkers that sleep throughout the day due to them being prone to sunburn, they've always had this peculiar yet charming attraction about
them, and have a constant thirst for blood. Throughout this time period many detailed elements and features have been added to the vampire's life cycle.
The Vampyre by John Polidori was written in 1819 which was when vampires were newly introduced to the world. In this text we have the innocent
victim Aubrey who ends up meeting this unusual but attractive man named Lord Ruthven who was a vampire all along. Focusing on Lord Ruthven,
he was a pale and quite strange man that attracted females very easily. He was very secretive and would suddenly vanish out of nowhere. When
Aubrey agreed to go travelling with Lord Ruthven, he came across a woman he was attracted to named Ianthe; she enlightened him about vampires
and warned him to be aware since they exist. Oddly, she ends up getting killed by one which is Lord Ruthven within that same week. I've noticed

This is very hard to say for The Vampire Diaries. There were a lot of men vs. men aspects but there was not really true sexuality related to the vampires
other than with Damon and Stefan's old friend Katherine.
Elena was also very attached to Stefan throughout the whole book, which ties in with the whole sexuality relating to the vampires as well.
