5. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated
colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood. There is some repeated such
as black and red because they symbolise death and blood. The font is
all sharp and slowly fading away. The mood will be the same because I
want it to have the same mood as all of the well know rock bands
How will your mood board influence your final product?
My mood board will influence my product because the poster will have the same kind of
font because most of rock posters seem to have that kind of font. Also the picture will
probably fill the whole paper. On the other hand the merchandise will be on a normal black
background and the band name in the middle and the picture will be some sort of album
cover that I come up with in a later date. The type of clothing that will be out will be t
shorts and jumpers.
6. Informal Proposal
Current Idea
Concept The fake band.
Type of
products you
would make
• The types of products that I will make are things like merchandise and posters.
What you will
need to make
them
I will need Photoshop and might need a camera.
Audience My target audience will be teens that are an age of 16 or older.
7. Choices
Discounted ideas Reasons for not choosing this
project
Film and game • I did not choose the film because I have
no experience in the film sector of the
course. The game design appalled to me
much more and I was torn between the
band and game but I had more
experience making poster so I chose the
band.
