2. Main image - This is a key element in the double page as
the image will be showing the main artist. Nicki Minaj is seen
wearing a fun, goofy outfit and this reflects the pop genre. She is
also seen wearing bright pink lipstick which links to the colour
theme of the magazine.
Artists name (masthead) - As you can see
the artists name is bright and bold so it’ll
attract their attention. This tells the
audience what the main article is going to
be about.
Credit - this will
inform the reader

Drop cap - is
effective as this
capture the
readers
attention. They
also add visual
strength onto

Pull quote - This
is normally a
key phrase to
entice the
readers into the
main article or
highlight a
certain topic.
Box out - This is
used to catch
the readers
attention to the
quote, to make
it stand out.
Page number - This is usually placed on
the bottom of the corners of the pages,
this is to inform the reader where they are
on the magazine.
Text content and layout - The main article is split into different
sections according to different topics, this makes it organised so
the reader can easily read each section. The double page also
has a colour theme using pinks and black. The pink makes it
look exciting and vibrant which reflects the artist and the music
genre.
