5. Publications
• The previous slide holds the logos for the publications in
which our print advert will be published. Titles include
national tabloids such as the mirror, the sun, and the
people. It also includes national broadsheets including the
guardian and observer and the times. Finally the list holds
the titles of cheaper papers and free sheets such as the
metro, London evening standard and Manchester evening
news.
• The newspapers we have chosen hold a large demographic
and readership. With a vast target audience to optimise our
viewing chances.
• The use of free sheets will spread the advert as they are
more lightly to have a larger readership due to the fact they
are free.
7. (Amazon) Kindle Fire
• The Amazon kindle is becoming more and
more popular and taking out an advert for the
home screen of a kindle will be very worth
while as it will be seen by people who do not
reed newspapers or only reed online versions
of the newspaper.
10. Radio Stations
• The radio stations which we have chosen to advertise upon
are the stations which will reach the widest range of
possible audience members.
• We decided to concentrate on corporations of stations
which broadcast locally. For example the ‘U.T.V’ media
group broadcast through 12 different stations reaching the
whole length of the united kingdom.
• We also decided to air our radio advert on two other
groups the ‘Absolute’ and ‘Capital’ groups controlling 15
national radio stations between them.
• The tactic of going through groups means that the price for
advertisement would be lower and there would be a much
larger broadcast area covered.
