The Advancement And Development Delivery Of Media Content
The advancement and development in delivery of media content has also affected the audience's
behavior in certain manner. In distant past, families use to gather around the only television screen
in home and enjoy the prime time programs aired by these limited broadcasters. "Millions of
households already have cancelled pay–TV subscriptions – up to 10 million U.S. households are
currently broadband–only. And about 45 percent of Americans stream television shows at least once
a month, according to research firm eMarketer. That number is expected to increase to 53 percent or
175 million people by 2018." Anderson, Mae, and Michael Liedtke. "HBO Unleashes Streaming
from Cable Contracts." The Charleston Gazette, 16 Oct. 2014. Web.
Occasionally, people use to go out and rent DVD's to watch a specific movie from rental stores.
Advancement in technology has brought a sufficient change in customer's behaviors, today DVD
rental stores have almost gone. Moreover, by time we saw enormous increase in channels being
provided by cable providers, but today even that has been replaced by streaming media devices, thus
my time, role of cable providers might also disappear due to the introduction of devices such as
Netflix, Apple TV etc. "DVD sales have also been hit. The Los Angeles–based Digital
Entertainment Group estimates DVD sales in 2008 fell 8% to $21.6 billion from a year earlier, while
DVD rentals were flat." Charny, Ben. "Viewers Tap Free Web Content." Wall Street Journal, Eastern

Effect Of User Generated Content On The Customers
Literature review: Typically consumers do not like losses and they do not like to make any decision
on matters related to purchasing under any uncertainties. As the uncertainties reduce, consumers feel
more confident in making decision on purchasing and investing (Schubert & Ginsburg, 2000). In
order to avoid uncertainties they look for information on products and services online like consumer
rating and reviews (Chevalier & Mayzlin, 2006). Information available on social media and blogs
are generated by users and have persuasive tendencies. We will review various papers that look at
informative and persuasive effect of user generated content on the customers. Word of mouth

These researchers found that participation and engagements by these consumers had an encouraging
influence among the consumers in terms of commitment, purchase and the trust on the company. It
also encouraged consumer in active participation in these forums. Research has also been done on
identifying the result of online WOM and UGC programs through consumer participation in social
media. Most of these studies concentrated on the monetary effects due to UGC created based on the
quantitative aspects like review, ratings, etc. This was done by looking at the kind of the UGC the
product created and the influence it had on the revenue that the product created. These study were
done on products that are usually purchased just one time like books (Chevalier & Mayzlin, 2006),
Cinemas (Chintagunta, et al., 2010), Video–games (Zhu & Zhang, 2010) an on products that are
bought repeatedly like skin care and cosmetic products (Moe & Trusov, 2011) and beers (Clemons,
et al., 2006). They all showed that reviews and ratings have positive affect on the total sale of the
products and the income generated from them. Other than review and online ratings, few researches
also studied other types of WOM. Namely, Posting on financial discussion communities which were
studied by (Tumarkin & Whitelaw, 2001), Conversation on Usenet Newsgroup studied by (Godes &

Introduction and problem formulation:
The Internet has grown to be one of the most effective means for tourists to seek information in the
planning process of their vacation. Tourists find themselves navigating through an immense amount
of information that could be relevant for the planning, which can be experienced as being
overwhelming for prospect travellers (Pan and Fesenmaier 2006). In this scenario, aggregator sites

2), but instead the Web has become the world and everything and everyone can cast their
"information shadow". Web 2.0 has enabled people to collaborate and share information online, and
has gained a massive popularity in doing so (Reactive 2007). Social network sites such as Facebook,
Twitter, and Wikipedia are some of the very popular Web 2.0 sites that are dependable on the
engagement and activeness of the users to provide the content on these sites. O'reilly (2009)
explains how Web 2.0, as a platform, "[builds] applications that literally get better the more people
use them, harnessing network effects not only to acquire users, but also to learn from them and build
on their contributions" (p. 1). Hence, one of the very important concepts within Web 2.0 is User
Generated Content (UGC), which also has become the "pivotal role that individual consumers have
in submitting, reviewing, and responding to the online content" (Cox et al, 2009, p. 744). In
marketing terms, UGC has effectively become a form of consumer–to–consumer e–marketing,
equivalent of electronic word–of–mouth marketing (Cox et al., 2009). Accommodation aggregators
makes use of various Web 2.0 features such as mashups (e.g. using the combination of Google Maps
with hotel locations), and user reviews and ratings of the hotels which are UGC.

Importance Of Content Strategy
The Secret to Successful Content–Marketing In 2018 Is Having a Strategy, So Get One.
With only a few weeks remaining before we bid 2017 goodbye, now is the time to finalize
marketing strategies for the coming year. It's time to identify which parts of your old strategy
worked and which ones you'll need to throw out. Also, are there any new techniques to replace them
with?
According to a report by Content Marketing Institute, 83 percent of marketers consider a content
strategy very effective in increasing revenue. This is a significant increase from the 74 percent who
placed confidence in the strategy the previous year. But even as more marketers understand the need
to have a documented strategy, only a paltry 31 percent have documented ... Show more content on

The key is understanding consumer behavior then adjusting your priorities in order to seize
opportunities.
2. Get more creative and personal with your content.
While it's clear that visual content is a leading factor in content marketing success, your creativity
may need some boosting. Pairing text–based content with visuals to keep visitors engaged was the
norm in 2017. But, in 2018, it'll be more about the type of visual content you're posting and sharing.
For instance, while infographics and videographics are great, going live with raw content on
Facebook, Instagram and YouTube may be more effective. Consumers want to purchase products
and services from brands they know and love. That's why 61 percent of marketers plan to use
Facebook live and Periscope, while 69 percent plan to learn more about live video.
Prepare to share more organizational activities with your followers, especially the "behind the
scenes" content. When it comes other types of content, like recorded videos, images and blogs, only
post and share high quality content. Eighty–five percent of marketers believe posting higher–quality
and more efficient content was the major reason for success in 2017. So, focus on original content
that's personalized to users and communicates to their emotions.

Improving Quality Of Video Content Service
Abstract
With the rapid growth of technological advancements globally in the field of Cloud computing,
there's been a tremendous change in the number of customers accessing the cloud. At this point of
time the question which arises is the quality of service i.e. streaming performance provided by cloud
service providers which is a factor of bandwidth. The streaming performance is degraded whenever
we download video content from the cloud because downloading a high quality or popular video
requires large number of peers to combine and then produce the video, for this method the amount
of bandwidth is also too high and costly. This paper mainly concentrates on improving the quality of
video content service by studying the obstacles faced by ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Many of gadgets are totally dependent on cloud for file transfer and storage of data. Not only has it
stored the data it also provides the security for the data present in cloud with less cost. The services
provided by cloud are Infrastructure as a service (IaaS), Platform as a service (PaaS), Software as a
service (SaaS), Saas users use an application software and databases, the Saas services include
Google, YouTube, drives etc(1). The main purpose of this research is the concern we are having
towards improving the efficiency of the video content traffic because of its majority contribution in
internet traffic.
Presently, File downloading based on automotive mode switch (AMS) algorithm, this approach is an
effective but video content downloading does not always give good performance (3). When AMS
method is used the internet buffering is less but the bandwidth is high and costly (3). Moreover
AMS algorithm uses peers in order to provide the requested video by users (3), if the video is so
long then it would take more peers in order to provide video, when there are more peers there is no
proper scheduling of peers due to which when we want to get some unpopular video the peers
provide a low quality video. By using our proposed method we are going to solve the problem of
bandwidth and cost because agents provide their bandwidth resources constantly at a much lesser
price.

Is Content A Good Content?
You've put together your content strategy. Perhaps it's more ambitious than last years, or maybe this
is the first one ever created for your company.
93% of b2b companies use content marketing, but time & time again, marketers struggle to execute
their strategy. Or when they do, they fumble around, not sure what they should be doing or why.
Content speaks for the brand and bad content = bad brand, even if you don't mean it to be.
We've come up with five ways to know you're in desperation mode and what you can do to escape
this wheel of content destruction.

Your job as a content marketer isn't over as soon as you've hit publish. In fact, it's only just
beginning. Consider how you're going to promote your content from the moment the idea comes
into your mind until after you've published it.
The internet is crowded. Approximately 211 million pieces of content are published every minute.
So how do you expect anyone to read your content if you don't take serious effort to promote it?
For example find influencers who might be interested in your content, or interested in sharing your
content, using Followerwonk.
Enter your keyword, specific to the niche your content will target. We've used content marketing.
You'll be shown the Twitter users with your keyword in their bio.
You can choose how you view this data, but we've selected to see it in order of relevance.
To understand how content promotion works, understand how people share content around. First,
identify who will benefit from your content and come up with ways to reach that exact audience.
You Keep Producing the Same Types of Content
We mentioned you should replicate successful content and that's true, but you should also think
about variety.
Creating unvaried content is uninteresting for your readers, but it's also uninteresting for you.
Content marketing should be exciting and shouldn't feel like you're repeating yourself every day.

The Content Inventory
Morville and Rosenfeld (2006) defined information architecture (IA) as an emerging discipline as
well as community practice that is focused on coalescing the principles of design as well as
architecture to the context of digital landscape. In this paper, we present a paper on Content and
Functional Requirements as an element of IA with a summary of the content inventory. Also
included is a section on how content is grouped and named. A list of functional requirements with a
succinct summary is also added. The website to be created is an e–commerce website for selling
electronics. Content and Functional Requirements Content elements An e–commerce website
contains static, dynamic, and transactional as well as functional ones. Before going into specifics,
the work of Kang and Lee (2003) indicated that an e–commerce website's homepage is made up of
six main elements. These includes site identity (logo and official company colors, texts containing
company name and mission statement), navigation, site content, advertizing, layout and negative
space. In order to list the content elements, it is important for a content inventory to be drafted. A
content inventory is described by Usability.com (2012) as a list of all the website contents. The
content or information is what a given website offers to the users. The content must be accurate and
be at the right level of detail. The information must also be presented at the right tone using the right
language. The content

development of the World Wide Web, the performance of delivery content service has become

Internet Content And The Conversion Rate
How to Personalize Your Content to Increase the Conversion Rate
Despite it's lack of use in for beginners in this industry, personalizing web content is one of the best

the quickest path to triggering emotions, and emotions are what ultimately drive your audience to
make purchases. It is safe to say that when you start writing your copy as if it's a descriptive memo,

A consumer 's desire for control is what influences their positive experience with personalized
media content. When you spin this fact to help you leverage your web content, you will find that all

conversions take place more often.
How to Segment Returning Visitor Personalization
You can personalize web content with just about any information. When sending emails, you're
naturally sure to include the name of your recipient, but that's not the only thing you need to know
to provide the ultimate customization experience. Content Marketing Institute Recommends that
you categorize readers by the following traits:
Location – If you know that it's winter in Missouri, but your viewer is in Florida, you don't want to
be talking about cold weather. This only re–affirms the fact that the conversation isn't personal. Use
location in your segmentation to ensure the best UX everywhere you can.
Interest – This point references a user's interest in your products and services. You can gauge this
factor by understanding what's going on in the bigger picture. What niche are you in? Now, what
niche is your reader in? If you sell children's toys, but your reader is a male athlete in his early 20s,
you may have to do a little more lead nurturing than with a homemaker.

Manifest Content Vs. Latent Content
Dream Paper
Every night when we go to sleep we have multiple dreams weather we remember them or not. There
are two parts to every dream; manifest content and latent content. Manifest content is the overall
storyline of the dream whereas latent content is the specific meaning of a dream. It is typically fairly
easy to differ between the two and honestly it is quite fun learning about the hidden meaning of
dreams. I am going to take you back to the very first dream I remember having. But, before I do
that, here is a little back story. I was eight years old and it was Christmas Eve; I went to bed not

The Content Of Content Marketing
It 's vital that you take some time to plan out your content in advance. There 's nothing worse than
sitting in front of the computer to connect with your audience and having nothing to say. One of the
biggest parts of your content marketing strategy is having something to share on a consistent basis.
To share consistently, it 's important to sit down and plan out months worth of content for your blog
as well as the content you plan on sharing on social media platforms. If you can create a plan a few
weeks to a few months in advance, you 'll be more consistent, engage your audience and attract new
visitors and followers.
What is a Content Marketing Editorial Calendar?
A content calendar is a place to organize, create and curate content you 'd like to share across your
brand, whether it 's on your blog, website or social media accounts. Some companies like to create a
separate social media calendar, but it can help to keep all sharing to one editorial calendar to ensure
nothing is forgotten.
Why Should You be Using One?
Often, companies use an editorial calendar to see their content in advance. At a glance, you can see
how content is laid out throughout the weeks and months. Gaps will be more obvious.
It 's an effective way to keep yourself organized. If you have an industry event, sales plan or product
launch, the content can be scheduled in advance to ensure that it 's being covered correctly.
If you have a marketing or writing team, an editorial calendar keeps

Online User Generated Content ( Ugc ) Essay
Online user–generated content (UGC) is more appropriate and flexible for providing reviews when
compared to the conventional guests satisfaction survey (GSS), which has for a long time been
linked to a hotel's performance. According to Duverger (2013), technological development and
evolving consumer choices make the use of GSS labourous for both the hotels and the guests. In
addition, the GSS participation levels are currently low as they are tiresome for the modern traveller.
Duverger (2012 ) argues the reason is that surveys provide minimal opportunity for commenting on
the real issues as the questions set are generic in nature and targeted at specific answer 'yes' or 'no'.
However, online UGC offers an opportunity for guests to excercise their own freedom by writing
what they want without being cautious of the hotel's management, especially if the guest is a
frequent visitor (Kim & Oh, 2004). Since online review websites are independent and frequented by
those who travel and those who do not, it seems as the most appropriate platform of commenting
both positive and negative experiences. Min et al (2015) note that some guests express negative
feedback to determine whether the hotel will provide a reponse and in the process guage their
concern for guest welfare.
2.4 Consequences of Negative Comments
Recent studies analysing the effects of negative comment suggest that they influence both
customer's decisions and hotel's sales (Blal & Sturman, 2014;

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Content Management System
CMS or content management system is a congregation of various types of tools applied on the
internet to construct, create and manage online content. CMS is a software installed on the web
server which helps in publishing, managing, storing and archiving various types of content like
videos, audios, blogs, articles, press releases, presentations and any other type of content on the
internet without storing it on a computer. This allows the clients to make any changes they want to
the content without uploading every time. CMS hosting also allows the clients to simply login and

The software keeps the articles and web design separate which gives the content contributors to
freely make their contributions without bothering about the web design having to be updated in
every page. The CMS software can update menus and links between pages on the new content that
is created by the various contributors and it does not create any obstruction to the performance while
the pages are being recreated.
There are many CMS hosting platforms and the customers have to keep a few considerations in
mind when selecting a CMS.
The first point is the type of website that is being built. The website could be a blog, commercial or
an entertainment site. It could be news or a forum or an educational portal. The choices are many
and there are possibilities of a website serving dual purpose of promoting the company as a business
industry and secondly as an e–commerce platform. Yet another point the client has to consider is the
purpose of their website and whether CMS hosting is required or not. Thirdly it is better to check if
the CMS has a good community support. There are many free open source CMS that have very

Content Validity
Content validity is often seen as a prerequisite to criterion validity, because it is a good indicator of
whether the desired trait is measured. If elements of the test are irrelevant to the main construct,
then they are measuring something else completely, creating potential bias. In addition, criterion
validity derives quantitative correlations from test course. Content validity is qualitative in nature,
and asks whether a specific element enhances or detracts from a test or research program. How is
content validity is measured by using surveys and tests, each questions is given to a panel of experts
analysts, and they rate it. The analysts give their opinion about whether the question is essential,
useful or irrelevant to measuring the construct under study. For example, a depression scale in

created by C. H. Lawshe "subject matter expert raters" (SMEs) is when a panel use the following
questions such as "Is the skill or knowledge measured by this item 'essential', 'useful, but not
essential', or 'not necessary' to the performance of the construct?" (Lawshe, 1975). According to the
author Lawshe if the results are more than half this indicates that the item is essential and show

Content Marketing : Changing How Companies Approach...
Out with the old, in with the new. Content marketing is changing how companies approach
prospects and existing consumers in the customer life cycle.
The purpose of content marketing is to "create awareness, generate leads, and convert leads into
customers." However, don't make the classic mistake of assuming that everyone who visits your site
is ready to purchase your product or service.
Research shows that 96% of people visiting your website aren't ready to purchase. Content
marketing plays an integral role in nurturing those leads. It also helps guide potential buyers through
every stage of the sales process.
That's why it's important to continuously create content that's customized to the needs and behaviors
of the prospect.

When mapping content, learn which marketing channels will effectively impact the buyer at each
stage. Blog posts may work well for generating interest, while social media may only create
awareness about your product. Buyer personas can assist you in identifying how to market to your
prospects as they move down the sales funnel.
To produce high–quality information that resonates with your customers, spice up the content

Blood Alcohol Content Essay
Blood Alcohol Content
The thought of alcohol being involved in fatal crashes brings about an emotional response. Recently,
there has been a movement based on emotion rather than logic to change a certain drinking and
driving law. This involves lowering the Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) from 0.10% to 0.08%
nationwide. However, this attention is misdirected. By looking at my personal experiences,
statistics, and current laws, it is clear that there is no need for lowering the BAC.
First off, I do not drink. Yet, I've had many experiences relating to drinking and driving through my
friends. One thing I've noticed is that it is extremely hard for people to tell if they are legally drunk
or not. Furthermore, I have never heard any ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The average BAC for fatal accidents is at actually at 0.17%. This seems like a more logical target
for new laws then 0.08%. Furthermore, Stone asks "Who would want their children in a car driven
by someone who has consumed three, four, or even more beers in an hour" (Stone 46)? I couldn't
agree more. However, this common argument from the pro–0.08% side is more like a parent
responsibility question. They use this to manipulate our emotion by putting an innocent child in an
improbable and unrelated situation. She also goes on to state, "A study at Boston University found
that 500 to 600 fewer highway deaths would occur annually if all states adopted 0.08%" (Stone 47).
On the other hand, a similar study at University of North Carolina shows no significant change after
their adoption of 0.08%. Which study is correct? Most likely, both have some truthfulness. It could
be either way depending on the state. The lowering of the Blood Alcohol Content percentage law is
unnecessary and useless. Nevertheless, some states have already moved to the 0.08%, and we hear
the argument: "It makes no sense for a driver to be legally drunk in one state but not in another"
(Stone 46). To that, I ask a couple questions of my own. Why can I carry a concealed gun in one
state and not another? Why is it that I can drive a certain speed in one state,

a website really matters. This will undeniably leave you staring at your website thinking, "Now
what?" Naturally, there is so much more to building a website than simply creating awesome content
and getting it shared on social media. In fact, there is an entire world out there that simply revolves
around content marketing and different ways to bring that content to new audiences. Content
marketing is a huge part of what makes or breaks a website. Your content has to be geared towards
search engines so that it will pop up in search results. It must have keywords that pop out and mesh
with what people are actually searching. But, here 's the secret, your website must have all this built
into it too. This is where structured data enters the picture. Structured data is something that can
greatly improve the ranking of your website. Unfortunately, it is something that many web designers

User Generated Content Driven Platform
User Generated Content Driven Platform
User generated content is any content, such as blogs, discussion forums, tweets, podcasts, digital
images, video, audio files and any other forms of media, created by the users of an online service or
system. The purpose of this type of content is to drive conversation and create engagement. The
website or service itself usually does not produce this content.
For many years, people have shared information about different brands of objects. Previously people
spread this information to one another by word of mouth. One person would speak to another and
perhaps discuss the attributes of a particular item. However, the popularity of the Internet and the
growth of social media now make it possible for anyone to take their ideas to digital spaces where
they can create and share their discussions publicly or privately.
With the evolution of social media and mobile technology, there has been an enormous growth of
user–generated content types along with an enhancement of the quality of UGC. Some types of
USG include images, videos, infographics, blogs, status updates and tweets. Facebook, Pinterest and
Twitter are examples of social platforms that operate on user–generated content. Product reviews

The Content Of Content Marketing
It 's not easy to get content marketing right. Many businesses struggle to sustain an effective content
strategy that not only engages their audience, but also keeps search engines happy. However, with
dedication, flexibility, and a little patience, you can produce content that communicates the value of
your business, demonstrates your credibility, and helps you gain more loyal customers.
First, you need to be aware of the most common content marketing mistakes. If you 're new to the
content marketing game, or you just want a quick refresher, here are seven common errors and some
ideas for how to avoid them.
Producing Content for Its Own Sake
The growing recognition of the value of quality content has resulted in a flood of brand–related
content online. With such a quantity, there is inevitably a lot of average and low–quality content to
be found, so your job as a content marketer today is to ensure you stand out from the crowd. This
means producing content that is aligned with the needs and interests of your target audience, and
also serves your business goals.
Analytics tools are now indispensable for monitoring where your content strengths lie, and
recognizing which types of content are adding nothing to the value of your brand. Basically, with
continuous feedback you can consistently deliver content that strengthens your brand 's voice.
Addressing a Generic Audience
Finding out what is relevant to your ideal customer is a crucial first step in optimizing content.

The And Of Content Marketing
Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.
~ William Morris, poet and designer
Imagine the household you would have if you got rid of every item that was neither useful or
beautiful.
Gone would be the plastic doodad with no known purpose, the ugly frame your great–aunt gave
you, the Special Free Offer™ you never opened, the collection of someday–useful peanut butter jars
. . .
Every room would be so much more pleasant to be in, and every tool so much easier to find.
What if you applied the same rule to the content you wrote? Every email, sales letter, blog post, and
comment you wrote would have to be useful or beautiful. Or both.
Does that sound a little . . . scary?
Most copywriters are fine with this, in principle. (Remember the first law of content marketing?
Every piece of cookie content should reward the audience for reading: by solving a problem they
have, or by entertaining them. Sounds pretty similar, doesn't it?)
The main problem people have with this advice is they don't trust their own judgment. They're
unsure if what they're writing is useful or beautiful.
And of course, some people are certain their writing would make James Joyce weep and Dale
Carnegie gnash his teeth, while their readers are wondering what this pretentious and useless fluff
piece is all about.
Are you unsure? Never fear! Here are some guidelines to help.
How do I know if my content is useful?

If a student has test anxiety, however, he or she may not perform as well on these important tests as
they typically would if they weren't experiencing a lot of anxiety. A new study indicates that writing
about one's anxieties before an important exam may help a student perform significantly better on
that test. The research was conducted by Dr. Sian Beilock and her colleagues. Beilock is an
associate professor of psychology at the University of Chicago and an expert in, "choking under
pressure." "Choking under pressure," refers to the phenomenon that occurs when one performs
below his or her ability or skill level during an especially challenging task or experience. Beilock
has also written a book entitled Choke: What the Secrets of the Brain Reveal About Getting It Right
When You Have To. According to Psych Central, Beilock has done prior research that has shown
pressure–filled experiences or situations may reduce working memory, which is part of the brain's
processing power. Our working memories allow us to recall information needed to perform
everyday tasks. However, working memory has limited processing power, so when worries creep
up, the ability to recall and retrieve information becomes limited. Prior research has also indicated
expressive writing where individuals write about emotional or traumatic experiences repeatedly
over weeks decreases worries in individuals who are depressed. The current study aimed to
determine if writing in a classroom could help students perform better on tests. Additionally, the
researchers hypothesized that just one opportunity to write before taking a test would reduce worries
and improve exam scores. In one experiment, the researchers recruited 20 college students to take
two short mathematics tests. The researchers instructed the students to simply do their best on the
first test (pre–test).

Content-Based Image Retrieval Case Study
INTRODUCTION
Pertaining to the tremendous growth of digitalization in the past decade in areas of healthcare,
administration, art & commerce and academia, large collections of digital images have been created.
Many of these collections are the product of digitizing existing collections of analog photographs,
diagrams, drawings, paintings, and prints with which the problem of managing large databases and
its repossession based on user specifications came into the picture. Due to the incredible rate, at
which the size of image and video collection is growing, it is eminent to skip the subjective task of
manual keyword indexing and to pave the way for the ambitious and challenging idea of the

DiVI– Diversity and Visually–Interactive Method
Aimed at reducing the semantic gap in CBIR systems, the Diversity and Visually–Interactive (DiVI)
method [2] combines diversity and visual data mining techniques to improve retrieval efficiency. It
includes the user into the processing path, to interactively distort the search space in the image
description process, forcing the elements that he/she considers more similar to be closer and
elements considered less similar to be farther in the search space. Thus, DiVI allows inducing in the
space the intuitive perception of similarity lacking in the numeric evaluation of the distance
function. It also allows the user to express his/her diversity preference for a query, reducing the
effort to analyze the result when too many similar images are returned.

Content Management Systems
Content management system is a procedural system that determines how work flows in any given
work environment. With reference to the web environment, content management system may be
limited to the creation, control, storage and deployment of individual contents on a given web page.
Content management system is differentiated from static pages through a number of ways.
Ultimately, whereas content management system should enable a manipulative approach towards
the use of the web pages in question, static pages give web users no manipulative option of altering
the content of the page. Rather, users act as passive beneficiaries who receive the information on the
web pages just as they have been stored. This means that given a number of users ... Show more

Finally, there should be a conscious effort to generate traffic through prudent ways of attracting
people to the website. It is advised that "Users can create surveys and polls to find out what their
visitors like (Smith, 2010).
Recent survey conducted among content management system users have pointed to the cost of
content management system software as being too expensive. This means that there is a hindrance to
getting the very best of quality if one is not ready to spend more (The Information Architecture
Institute, 2003). There is also the problem of migrating old content to a new and updated content.
This means that the actual process of managing content to benefit from the full usefulness of content
management system is a great obstacle to some users. Even more, the problem of protection of URL
paths exists. This creates insecurity and creates volatility on the path. Finally, content management
system has a number of limitations to the problems it can solve itself. This is like saying that
research on the functions of CMS is still not complete. Some of the problems that CMS is said not

Machine learning is a great way to understand behavioral and attitudinal data. Social media is a

Maybe you should have asked Bill Gates almost 20 years ago. He wrote an article titled Content Is

most of the money on the internet would be made. It's most intrinsic value was that it could be

  • 19. Online User Generated Content ( Ugc ) Essay Online user–generated content (UGC) is more appropriate and flexible for providing reviews when compared to the conventional guests satisfaction survey (GSS), which has for a long time been linked to a hotel's performance. According to Duverger (2013), technological development and evolving consumer choices make the use of GSS labourous for both the hotels and the guests. In addition, the GSS participation levels are currently low as they are tiresome for the modern traveller. Duverger (2012 ) argues the reason is that surveys provide minimal opportunity for commenting on the real issues as the questions set are generic in nature and targeted at specific answer 'yes' or 'no'. However, online UGC offers an opportunity for guests to excercise their own freedom by writing what they want without being cautious of the hotel's management, especially if the guest is a frequent visitor (Kim & Oh, 2004). Since online review websites are independent and frequented by those who travel and those who do not, it seems as the most appropriate platform of commenting both positive and negative experiences. Min et al (2015) note that some guests express negative feedback to determine whether the hotel will provide a reponse and in the process guage their concern for guest welfare. 2.4 Consequences of Negative Comments Recent studies analysing the effects of negative comment suggest that they influence both customer's decisions and hotel's sales (Blal & Sturman, 2014; ... Recently, there has been a movement based on emotion rather than logic to change a certain drinking and driving law. This involves lowering the Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) from 0.10% to 0.08% nationwide. However, this attention is misdirected. By looking at my personal experiences, statistics, and current laws, it is clear that there is no need for lowering the BAC. First off, I do not drink. Yet, I've had many experiences relating to drinking and driving through my friends. One thing I've noticed is that it is extremely hard for people to tell if they are legally drunk or not. Furthermore, Stone asks "Who would want their children in a car driven by someone who has consumed three, four, or even more beers in an hour" (Stone 46)? I couldn't agree more. However, this common argument from the pro–0.08% side is more like a parent responsibility question. They use this to manipulate our emotion by putting an innocent child in an improbable and unrelated situation. She also goes on to state, "A study at Boston University found that 500 to 600 fewer highway deaths would occur annually if all states adopted 0.08%" (Stone 47). On the other hand, a similar study at University of North Carolina shows no significant change after their adoption of 0.08%. Which study is correct? Most likely, both have some truthfulness. It could be either way depending on the state. The lowering of the Blood Alcohol Content percentage law is unnecessary and useless. Nevertheless, some states have already moved to the 0.08%, and we hear the argument: "It makes no sense for a driver to be legally drunk in one state but not in another" (Stone 46). The purpose of this type of content is to drive conversation and create engagement. The website or service itself usually does not produce this content. For many years, people have shared information about different brands of objects. Previously people spread this information to one another by word of mouth. One person would speak to another and perhaps discuss the attributes of a particular item. However, the popularity of the Internet and the growth of social media now make it possible for anyone to take their ideas to digital spaces where they can create and share their discussions publicly or privately. With the evolution of social media and mobile technology, there has been an enormous growth of user–generated content types along with an enhancement of the quality of UGC. • 31. The And Of Content Marketing Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful. ~ William Morris, poet and designer Imagine the household you would have if you got rid of every item that was neither useful or beautiful. Gone would be the plastic doodad with no known purpose, the ugly frame your great–aunt gave you, the Special Free Offer™ you never opened, the collection of someday–useful peanut butter jars . . . Every room would be so much more pleasant to be in, and every tool so much easier to find. What if you applied the same rule to the content you wrote? Every email, sales letter, blog post, and comment you wrote would have to be useful or beautiful. Or both. Does that sound a little . . . scary? Most copywriters are fine with this, in principle. (Remember the first law of content marketing? Every piece of cookie content should reward the audience for reading: by solving a problem they have, or by entertaining them. Sounds pretty similar, doesn't it?) The main problem people have with this advice is they don't trust their own judgment. They're unsure if what they're writing is useful or beautiful. And of course, some people are certain their writing would make James Joyce weep and Dale Carnegie gnash his teeth, while their readers are wondering what this pretentious and useless fluff piece is all about. If a student has test anxiety, however, he or she may not perform as well on these important tests as they typically would if they weren't experiencing a lot of anxiety. A new study indicates that writing about one's anxieties before an important exam may help a student perform significantly better on that test. The research was conducted by Dr. Sian Beilock and her colleagues. Beilock is an associate professor of psychology at the University of Chicago and an expert in, "choking under pressure." "Choking under pressure," refers to the phenomenon that occurs when one performs below his or her ability or skill level during an especially challenging task or experience. Beilock has also written a book entitled Choke: What the Secrets of the Brain Reveal About Getting It Right When You Have To. According to Psych Central, Beilock has done prior research that has shown pressure–filled experiences or situations may reduce working memory, which is part of the brain's processing power. Our working memories allow us to recall information needed to perform everyday tasks. However, working memory has limited processing power, so when worries creep up, the ability to recall and retrieve information becomes limited. Prior research has also indicated expressive writing where individuals write about emotional or traumatic experiences repeatedly over weeks decreases worries in individuals who are depressed. The current study aimed to determine if writing in a classroom could help students perform better on tests. Additionally, the researchers hypothesized that just one opportunity to write before taking a test would reduce worries and improve exam scores. In one experiment, the researchers recruited 20 college students to take two short mathematics tests. The researchers instructed the students to simply do their best on the first test (pre–test). ...
