Students will create the front page, contents page, and a double page article spread for a new music magazine focused on rock music. Photoshop will be used to edit images and InDesign for page layout and design. The front cover will feature a large band image and smashed text for a rebellious feel. The contents page will have a band image at the top with section titles above text in an organized layout using black for an evil connotation. The article spread will feature a large band image on one page and interview questions and text on the other.

bad, this will be the main
focus of my front cover. It
is also based on the same
style of music that the
band I will be using plays. I
also like the style it has
used with the smashed
effect on the mast head
witch gives a rebellious
feel witch is what rock
music is about.

because of the use of
layout, the image at the
top of the band is well
placed as it is the first
thing you see, also I like
the colours used as black
connotes evil witch some
bands are based on. The
use of the titles above
the text works well ant
splitting up the page into
appropriate sections.
