Kerrang magazine has inspired my magazine because of the genre. Kerrang
presents music such as rock, indie and alternative. My target audience would be
people from 16 – 24 years old both male and female therefore I will use colours
like red, white and yellow so that it would attract both genders. I don’t want my
front cover looking overcrowded therefore I’ll use a main image and perhaps three
smaller ones that would relate to the genre.

The Kerrang magazine price is £2.20 and this is affordable for the younger
audience that this is targeted at.
3. • The target audience for the Q music buyers is of 25 , due to the fact that the target
audience age is slightly older means that the magazine can be a bit more expensive
as the majority of the people at this age have paid jobs.
• On the front cover the masthead is always on the top left hand corner, following by
a picture in the middle of the page.
