2. Energy storage systems, usually batteries, are
essential for all electrical vehicles, plug in hybrid
electric vehicles.
An electric vehicle battery (EVB) or traction
battery can be either a primary (eg.material, air)
battery or a secondary battery (rechargable battrey is
used for propulsion of Battery electric vehicles BEVs)
Electric vehicle batteries differ from starting
and ignition (SLI) batteries because they are designed
to give power over sustained periods of time EV
batteries requirements safe,high power,high capasity,
small and light, large formal, long life low over all
cost.

4. INTRODUCTION
A lithium ion battery is a family of recharegable
battery type in which lithium ion move from the –ve
electrode to the +ve electrode during discharge and
