From past generations until this present time there were many featured anime here in the
Philippines. There are anime that are shown on televisions, some on DVD's and some are brought to
life by the so called "cosplayers". We can visualize the evolution of Japanese animation from time to
time just by noticing the effects, the drawing styles, and mostly the stories.

The objectives of this study are the following: 1. To determine the positive effects of watching
anime. 2. To determine the negative effects of watching anime.

This study will help determine or decide whether watching anime has neither more positive effects
nor negative effects especially to children and students. This study will also give a bird's eye view of

Poor university students would search the markets for the best price on radio parts and then use said
parts to create a radio to resell (DrSenbei). However, the black–market craze did not last too long
because open air markets were banned in 1949 to stop the unregulated trades. Stall owners fought

Your Lie in April (四月は君の嘘 – Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso) is an anime series based on the
manga by Naoshi Arakawa. The plot follows Kōsei Arima, Kaori Miyazono and Tsubaki Sawabe as
they face teenage problems in love, music, and health.
This anime is by far the most depressing series I have ever watched. It 's not just sad, it 's
depressing. It 's like watching a group of cursed kids going through traumatic events that will likely
make them the most miserable adults possible. The series started with the potential of being one of
the great tear–jerkers, but they forgot how to give something resembling happiness to keep the story
in the light. At times, it feels like the story, and the characters, are about to emerge from the
shadows, only to be pulled back deeper, like a swimmer caught in the ocean desperately trying to
reach shore as it 's swept further away by each crashing wave. Due to the constant dark nature of the
story, I found the scenes that should have been emotional just blended into the rest of the story,
resulting in a story with very little emotional impact. Although, the final two episodes were so
emotional that they cut right through all that sadness, which should tell you how fantastic they were.
But two unforgettable episodes does make an unforgettable series.

or not an anime has subtitles has proven its importance amongst its western fans. Anime is Japanese

language of said group by recording also known as dubbing. Many people in the western culture
begin by watching dubbed anime as children then eventually transition to watching subbed. With so

Tragically, it has been a long time since I watched the show, and clearly my methods changed over
the years. From the fragments I do remember comes a great, clean story of one named Kazuki and
his introduction into Manga (specifically doujinshi) that takes us on a journey through an industry.
When most people think of Manga in America, they might compare it to Marvel Comics, which is
somewhat misleading. Manga is not reserved for super–heroes nor to trite concepts that may be
disgusting in America (see The Mask) but yet never quite puts us inside. This is not to say Comic
Party attempts this, rather it expresses the deeply woven nature of the Manga universe that should
give any foreigner a pause before stereotyping the industry negatively.
This is perhaps the biggest appeal and weakness to Comic Party, in that as an educational comedy it
seeks to balance self–deprecating jokes with giving its audience a better comprehension of the work
involved, all while not coming off as boring or uninspired.

Scholars all agree that Eugène Delacroix's Liberty Leading the People (1830) represents a
commemoration of the July Revolution with an allegorical figure of Liberty guiding French citizens
over a barricade. While nobody offers an alternate reading of the subject, the methods used vary
between scholars. The hybridization of formalism, biography, and social history can be seen as the
standard approach to this work. While this approach on its own has lead to successful readings of

Do all kids read comics? Will they enhance your reading skills? According to Kat Kan, the answer is
definitely a yes. In her article, "What kinds of kids read comics?" the author described a number of
instances which proved the conclusion she made. She said that every child either they are eager
readers or struggling/ special needs kids; kids who are not really into reading books will read comics
irrespective of what category they belong to. The author described about the eager readers in the
first page while directly relating it to herself and her experiences in childhood. She explained about

The essay "Violent Media is Good for Kids" by Gerard Jones was published by the New York Times
in 2000. Jones was a well–known author both in fiction and nonfiction and mainly focused on comic
books. Jones argues that the violent behaviors depicted in comic books can be beneficial because
they can help children overcome their fears. Jones incorrectly assumes that all children are the same
and although a comic book may help one child, other children may become emotionally scarred by
them. Jones focuses on three stories involving himself, his son, and a young lady by the name of
Emily. In paragraph three, Jones tells us how his mother grew up in a violent era, not wanting her
son to be exposed to such conduct. Until one day a student of hers enlightened her on the benefits a
comic book can have on a child. The "Hulk" allowed for Jones to fantasize himself as being all
powerful, fearless, and confident in his own skin. Also in compassion to Jones, in paragraph six,
Jones' son had a similar encounter but with the comic book "Tarzan". Jones' son was faced with the
peer pressure of climbing a tree that his friend previously climbed. With his son being fearful, Jones
knew that by allowing his son to become fixated on the comic of Tarzan would allow for him to "put
his fear of aside and climb the tree". Lastly, Jones adds in paragraph twelve, the importance of
Emily, a playground bully who with the help of comic books could control her violent outbursts.
Throughout Jones essay, he does a diligent job of providing valid and reliable evidence, but in
paragraph twelve and thirteen when he tells the story of Emily is looked at as the turning point of his
essay for most readers. Emily was known at school for expressing violent behaviors and depiction
violent scenes from comics and TV shows. Most mothers would pull Emily's mother aside and
express their concerns and worries for the safety of the other kids who played around her. Emily's
mother sought Jones help, fearful that her child might not be able to differentiate between realities
and play time. Jones background allowed for him to channel Emily's anger by providing her with
comics that were most relatable to the action Emily imitated. Untimely, by Jones telling

Iconography is the traditional or conventional images or symbols associated with a subject and
especially a religious or legendary subject (Iconography). Icons are used in all religions to represent
and commemorate religious figures and symbols that are held with great honor within the religion.
Icons are used to represent some sacred personage, such as a saint or an angel or Christ (The
Definition of Icons). Icons are typically written on wood and honored as sacred (Goldammer). Not
only is the writing itself seen as sacred but the whole practice of creating these icons is a religious
event. There are three main types of religious icons: portrait icons, group icons, and landscape icons

There are rules associated with iconography that have to be followed in order for the image to be
viewed as an icon. Before the artist starts writing the icon, they are supposed to fast and pray so that
they are in a clear, undisturbed state of mind. The artist needs to quiet one's spirit, which is done
through the praying and fasting. The quieting one's spirit is a way to open up and let God in so he
can do the work. The artist is instructed not to sign the writing as it is supposed to come from God
therefore, there is no credit that needs to be given. Another rule is that icons are referred to as
"written" instead of "painted" or "drawn". Describing them as "written" emphasizes the important
spiritual role that these icons possess.

Both of the main characters fit into stereotypes but in many aspects also break these stereotypes.
Naruto fits the stereotype of a young boy in the fact that he is a trouble making and is out seeking
adventure. He is very violent and breaks the stereotype of a young boy in the fact that he is a ninja
and that he has superpowers. Nakaba in Dawn of the Arcana is a young princess and she fits that
