School Curriculum.
O PDHPE encourages valuing of self and
others, while promoting physical activity in order to
recognise physical, social and emotional growth.
O PDHPE in schools “play a vital role in promoting
the
intellectual, physical, social, emotional, moral, spirit
ual, and aesthetic development” of all young
children (Meldrum & Peters, 2012).
