Doctorate. Modules within my Psychology degree and Masters coursein Developmental Disorders include
extensive knowledge of disorders (Autism,ADHD, Specific Language Impairmentand Dyslexia/Dyscalculia) as
well as comprehensive understandingof children’s cognitive,behavioural and biological development.

Volunteer Educational Psychology Research Assistant| May 2016 – present
Responsibilities includeextensiveand technical write up of individual projects,analysisof information
and organizing research implications under the supervision of a fully qualified Educational
Psychologist.
Skills gained includethe ability to work alone yet with precision,usinginitiativeand insightfulness,
organizinga workload between a small teamand practicingdegree standard work within a complex
area of expertise.
Individual projects includeassessmentand critical evaluation of a therapistusingthe Interaction
Analysis Scale(IAS) as partof a CognitiveBehavioural Therapy (CBT) report; data collection and
analysisof a project focusingon mental health screeningin children aged 13-16; writingup a joint
project regardingchildren’s safeguardingin a CBT report.

Knowledge of developmental milestones were physically examined;aidingboth my theoretical
understandingand practical comprehension of childhood progression.

Duke of Edinburgh award – completion of this award allowed development of inter-personal and
team working skills in stressful circumstances,as well as leadership skills when headinga dependent
team of 6 individuals
Computer literacy –proficientin all Microsoftprograms including Word,Excel and Powerpoint, as
well as knowledge into programming(RStudio) and complex data analysis(SPSS).
DBS checks – currently held for Charlie’s childmindingand the Scouting Association.
