Agricultural value chains represent a key part of the economies within rural, off-grid communities.
Micro-grid-powered agricultural loads can both increase agricultural production and allow rural
communities to capture more income from the crops they already produce. At the same time, increased
utilization can help drive down the cost of energy and facilitate a more financially viable micro-utility.
By powering agricultural loads, micro-utilities serve the needs of the community while helping to
ensure their sustainability.

ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM :
Optimization Techniques :
This techniques deals with micro-grid financial risk and demand side management that
focused on profit and fuel cost of the system or Economic load dispatch.
Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP):
To minimize the summation of electricity exchange cost and diesel generators generation
cost, while maintain the micro-grid under stable condition.
Linear Programming(LP) or (MOLP):
The significance of linear programming is to provide a solution to the existing real-world
problems through the evaluation of existing resources and the provision of relevant solutions
REAL TIME SIMULATION :
HIL or CIL (Controller-in-the-Loop) simulation is a real-time plant model (grid …)
interfaced to a piece of hardware under test usually with low-power signal interfaces
PHIL simulation is the integrated simulation of a complete system with one part simulated
numerically and the other part using real devices.

Software/Tools: MATLAB Simulation, Microsoft Visio, Beginner for Real
Time Simulation Tool (OPAL-RT), Beginner Python for
Machine Learning.
