March 21, 2015 – our Project Manager Valerie Verveda was invited to share Intersog's eHealth apps development experience with a broader IT community in Ukraine and Eastern Europe at IT Jam 2015. In her presentation, Valerie touches upon the two disruptive apps built recently for our clients in Norway and USA, and how modern technology can help better treat patients and improve their communication with doctors.

CIS2245: Software Engineering Amjad Alharbi, Quality Assurance Jonathon Chenvert, Project Manager Megan Wong, Developer Kam Chung Tam, Developer Steve Morganstern, Quality Assurance 03/20/2018 Midterm Project SchoolSearch is an educational web platform which is used by students to access various services of the campus online. Students can enter their majors and preferred campuses, then this platform will do an optimal search to show the best results that will accommodate to their educational needs. It will also help to locate those campuses which are nearby using GPS. Students can also shift their classes and register once again in numerous extracurricular activities of the universities. SchoolSearch is aware that creating client-oriented software requires technical excellence and that the firms should hire the best.Stakeholders The project has several stakeholders including Benjamin Raffleton, a Business Operations Manager. He uses the college’s databases currently in Excel spreadsheet but, would like to use an automated platform in the future for collecting the information he is looking for. He aspires to see the classes made necessary for majors in general and also information about the classes for a whole semester included. He hopes that information on classes such as timetables can be included (Alan, 2014). Our team should first consult each other about the information on the majors that should be made available for viewing by users who request information from them. Hence, we should do an analysis to know the important information and the less important information so that the linking of majors is properly implemented. Another stakeholder is Roger Freeman, who is the Product Manager. He wants to see a repository that will have the information of classes in the whole university and their categorization to be done well in order to make it easy for any person searching information about a class to do it easily (Alan, 2014). As a team we can discuss with Mr. Roger Freeman so that we know how much of information will be able to be showed as per the needs of him and also if there could be any possible restrictions of some type of information from reaching certain individuals. Emilia Smith is a student who changed courses and wants an app that can tell her the number of classes she is required to attend before she gets to graduate. This app will help to stop overlapping of classes. It is also supposed to give her notifications of classes beginning (Joseph, 2012). We should discuss with Emilia to know how exactly she would like the app interface.User Stories As a student, I want courses chosen for me so that I can graduate on time. As the dean, I want courses filled so that classes aren’t cancelled. As a counselor, I want tailored class lists for students so that I am able to help them with specific schedules. We're designing a dynamic web page offering a comprehensive online learning experience. It enables users to effortlessly browse and purchase courses, as well as attend virtual classes. Key features include: Student Management: Efficiently monitor attendance and manage leave applications. Streamline job applications for students. Faculty Management: Simplify faculty management and scheduling. Enable material uploads and downloads for courses. Payment Integration: Seamlessly handle online payments for courses. Course Management: Organize and oversee available courses. Communication Tools: Facilitate direct communication between faculty and students. Implement a chatbot for additional support. Users, both students, and faculty, will need to register and log in to access these features. Students can then browse, purchase courses, and join classes. Faculty members can use the platform to provide tutorials and manage their schedules effectively. This dynamic web page aims to provide a user-friendly and comprehensive online learning experience for both students and faculty members. If you have any specific questions or need further information, feel free to ask!

Program code examples (known also as worked examples) play a crucial role in learning how to program. Instructors use examples extensively to demonstrate the semantics of the programming language being taught and to highlight the fundamental coding patterns. Programming textbooks allocate considerable space to present and explain code examples. To make the process of studying code examples more interactive, CS education researchers developed a range of tools to engage students in the study of code examples. These tools include codecasts (codemotion, codecast, elicasts), interactive example explorers (WebEx, PCEX), and tutoring systems (DeepTutor). An important component in all types of worked examples is code explanations associated with specific code lines or code chunks of an example. The explanations connect examples with general programming knowledge explaining the role and function of code fragments or their behavior. In textbooks, these explanations are usually presented as comments in the code or as explanations on the margins. The example explorer tools allow students to examine these explanations interactively. Tutoring systems, which engage students in explaining the code, use these model explanations to check student responses and provide scaffolding. In all these cases, to make a worked example re-usable beyond its presentation in a lecture, the explanations have to be authored by instructors or domain experts i.e., produced and integrated into a specific system. As the experience of the last 10 years demonstrated, these explanations are hard to obtain. Those already collected are usually “locked” in a specific example-focused system and can’t be reused. The purpose of this working group is to support broader re-used of worked examples augmented with explanations. Our current plan is to develop а standard approach to represent explained examples. This approach will enable an example created for any of the existing systems to be explored in a standard format and imported into any other example-focused system. We plan to follow a successful experience of the PEML working group focused on re-using programming exercises.
